I dont know if there are any or should be any innovations in online gambling, because gamblers are not interested in them most probably. All what gamblers care are money, strategies to win, magic "get rich button". If innovation would give something from that - people will ask and demand for something innovative. However, casinos wont go for that. In fact, the way how things are working now (casino owners get more wealthy every day), totally suits casinos.

They are not that focused on inovation as for the moment I think the scripts most casinos use are almost the same and I believe these scripts fulfill the job, offering all that is needed for a casino player. Gamblers not just bet on everything, I dont think that majority even like to test something new, as it means losing money. Why lose money in something new, when old works well and people are already experienced enough to know how to reduce losing.

I have already asked about bringing gambling on smartwatches and nearly everyone told that it would be a bad idea. 2. Rollbit offers futures trading and also have their custom token and have duel arena for ramifications. This makes their casino encompassing and a go-to for most of the needs of a cryptocurrency enthusiast.  

3. MetaWin proposed web3 gambling that does not requires registration, just plug and play. I have not been monitoring the progress of this but I believe they are pushing through with that.

You can therefore, see that there have been innovation in the gambling business and I believe it will keep getting better.

If I can give a few other example, I think another is NFT. Though I think it only existed so far in a crypto casino because NFT's started too on cryptos. For the regular type, I think them adopting a crypto payment method, is also what we can consider as an innovation.

Even though blackjack seem like a simple game but there is actually more you can do about it like adding some table skins for example, or the option to choose a card with unusual designs. Changing the colour, or type of the chips being used, and the list goes on..

If you're talking about casinos looking thesame then I get your point, I myself have seen quite some numbers of casinos that looks thesame with just few changes like the name and color. The interface looks almost thesame and when I see things like this instead of gambling there, I find my way to the first reputable casino with that interface and place my bet for same bonus offer. Sometimes these casinos could be owned by same organization with different brand just to create that competition narrative with different bonuses and probably their brand original casino games.

Yes, there is innovation in online casinos, the more technology is upgraded, the more innovation is seen in everything. In the coming days, if the Metaverse technology is included in the casino, then when you gamble, it will feel very realistic and this technology will be incremented very soon.
