Which review website to use when checking new casino?

I have noticed that one casino which I find untrustworthy have great score on Trustpilot

When I found that out it surprised me so much that I made further analysis of their reviews I found out that 5 and 4 star reviews contained generic one liners. Also the accounts that gave 5 star reviews have only one or two reviews in total.

My question is which other casino review websites do you use to read honest reviews?

For me, the best place to find honest reviews about a crypto casino are social media platforms like Twitter, gambling communities on Reddit and also Facebook groups related to gambling. Because the truth of the fact about reviews on Trustpilot.com this days is that the site can never be trusted about genuine about online platforms reviews, since most of the reviews found there are all paid reviews. And this is the exact strategy most scam platforms use in luring people into believing their platform is genuine, and after logging into it will eventually find out it was all a scam.

. You can hire a worker for as low as 10 cents to give you positive reviews. If an untrustworthy casino has a lot of positive reviews, its likely that they are paying people to give them positive feedbacks

That being said I find this forum much better than Trustpilot as it has knowledgable community that quickly reacts to scams and shady practices.

That's because no one is being paid to give good reviews, and we based it on the proofs and evidence; this is a community where its finding is based on facts

I mean most of the reviews in website are all like overrated or scam because it is most likely an advertisement, it is often done on new websites, fake reviews is already a thing even on online product platforms it can easily be reviewed since there was no like actual verification on this reviews any one can just throw a good comment on the website boosting it, and giving 5 stars everytime, increasing it's popularity or atleast just give it a boost of exposure where it wasn't just some new website.

I never really check other websites since here in the forum we already have trusted casino, it's not really a thing for me to try a lot of casinos where im probably also going to lose some money, I mean they were all a game of luck anyway so there was no point, and if im going to find a trusted one, a trusted platform here in the forum is for sure good enough, because it is already used by the members here in the forum and we have access to the casino support.

Trustpilot is not longer reliable at all. Trust any review there is at your own risk because they are paid review.
Hardly you trust any review site on the internet these days. I will recommend the forum, Wagerx and Bitlist.
The forum is the best place to know if a casino is reliable. Fake casino wont last up to two weeks here before they are fetched out.
Lastly, reddit is a good place to get good reviews. Before I joined the forum, Reddit is the home full of solid information.

Trustpilot is a place where reviews can easily get manipulated, and if you don't have a sharp eye, you can easily fall for the trap. It is the last place anyone should take seriously. This forum is a good place to start from. There is also Casinoguru and AskGamblers (I prefer these two for mixed reviews and complaints and also observe how the casino resolves issues)

I also noticrd that some websites boast with 5 star Trustpilit ratings. I thought that it was relevant to websites trustfulness until I found out how easy it is to manipulate the ratings (both positive and negative ratings). We are lucky that we are part of this forum so we can get all relevant information here

Bitcointalk, for the most and I am not searching for other casinos out there and only use the casino listed here. I can read the honest reviews from members and discuss to the rep or ask for help if we have a problem.

What I always tell people is that if you want to make a selection of a casino based on what we see here, the person should take out his time to study the allegations which have been made against those casinos and see how transparent and open the reps have been in trying to solve cases fairly. Almost all casinos here have had one or two cases, and some usually do their best to always make sure both parties get this solved, which is one thing we should be looking at in a casino.

If a thread exists, then I check for what people are saying and if they have any red trust or neutral trust ratings. If they do, then I check out what it is for and that usually gives an indication about how the casino is.

Unfortunately, Trustpilot isn't a good indicator these days because it can be manipulated very easily. I mean you check out the ratings for top 5 casinos and recent reviews, that will explain you why I'm saying this.

Another thing you can do is check the Scam Accusations section and see if any active threads about that gambling site you intend to play on.

Good question, but to be honest, there’s no such thing as a fully trustworthy review site these days - best you can do is check a few sources, compare them, and make up your own mind.
In that sense, Bitcointalk is probably the most reliable option. It’s hard to fake reputation there, and if a casino has issues, people bring it up pretty quickly.

Reddit (r/gambling, r/onlinegambling, r/cryptocasinos) also works pretty well - it’s useful for real user feedback, especially if you look at the overall sentiment, not just a single post.
You can also check AskGamblers - it’s decent for complaints and dispute cases, but their ratings aren’t always objective.

As for Trustpilot, it’s only good as an additional source, and you definitely need to filter reviews (look for detailed ones and watch out for repetitive patterns).

Honestly apart from this forum I very rarely look at reviews for new casinos because for me the popularity for the forum is much better and the users are neutral in contrast to some reviews which are sometimes very easy to manipulate or when the review of the site is not very good then they can delete it so I never look at new sites that are outside this forum which makes me although I have several gambling accounts on different sites but everything only focuses on those on the forum.

This actually depends on each gambler but for me the sites that are on the forum alone are very enough for me to play so I don't care about other sites even though in some moments I also still register on new sites but again it happens when the site is already on this forum and the welcome of some forum members is quite good towards it.

If we are speaking or talking about crypto based or related platforms then this forum would be the best place for you to look and if you cant be able to see such casino or any platform then you can freely ask in regarding into its current situation or status. If you do find yourself having doubt to make up some deposit on a new site then you can always choose not to make a deposit or you would be waiting up for someone to do so then wait for their real time feedback and if it do still comes into a time that you cant see a feedback despite of the platform is running for a while then we can assume that it is that doing pretty fine. Review sites arent that trustable enough and just like on what most people been saying that reviews could be faked out with those scammy websites on which it wouldnt be an assurance that having a good review would be already considered as a legitimate site.

Usually if any casino launching you can get the information of that casino at Bitcointalk forum exactly at Gambling board, there are many people will give review honest because the respond not paying yet. I don't know more about with the website review for new casino gambling and afraid if any website will pay previously by the new casino for giving positive review only.
So getting most trust and honest review check at gambling board and ANN thread for that casino its self show how most review dominance with positive or negative, I got many user make testing if any new casino and will share their experienced at ANN thread of that new casino its self, there are not anything privacy or hidden if casino trust will review trusted.

I am not surprised at all especially if you read alot of reviews.

On the other hand - 1 star reviews were lenghty, detailed and argumented and that shared similar experience of lenghty withdrawals and misleading practices. They were usually followed by AI generated response of casino representative. My guess is that they bought reviews as they have much better Trustpilot score than other much more trustworthy casinos.

I agree and this also answers your question. This forum is filled with unfiltered non AI generated reviews of casinos. And you will see users call out casinos BS and at the end, you make your decision knowing that you are well and reliably informed.

I don't actively visit any website, I only pay attention to what users say, to the site's reputation, because I use reputation solely and exclusively for business, for trading or anything related to money That's why I like to see it; when they say things that aren't relevant, I ignore them The thread itself is enough for me, which is why the forum is a great treasure to me.

To be honest, I don't trust any review platform. Because most of them seem like paid reviews to me. And that's why I give more importance to this forum. Another thing is that I rarely play brand new casinos. Those that have been on this forum for a long time seem trusted to me and if I play, I play them. However, a few months ago I visited a website called coinbets. And their reviews seemed pretty honest to me. However, I'm not 100% sure if there is any manipulation or not. I would say that whichever review site you check, you should do your own research first.

In fact, it is not possible to give a casino rating by looking at the information from a casino review site because there are many people who write fake reviews if they pay money or if a website spends money in the form of a campaign, they can get many reviews in exchange for money. The most important thing about a website is how much the casino site has been able to solve all the problems that users face. There were a few good suggestions mentioned on this thread, but they are not so good in comparison to this forum. Bitcointalk has experienced users, also trust system and reputation board are great mechanisms to filter out scammy casinos in the start. I have yet to try out the alternatives but most probablyb mainly stick to the forum for opinions about gambling websites.

The majority of the reviews on Trustpilot are questionable because most of the ones I have encountered have unanswered cases here, which are yet to be attended to. I have also noticed what you have explained, OP, and it is possible that the review you have said is likely a paid review, which they are just trying to use to cover up their mess.

When comes to casino reviews, I stay away from sites like Trustpilot and other similar ones. I would rather just to ask people here on the forum about their experience or thoughts on some casino I just found.
Also, it is an alternative to ask people in places like the gambling subreddit (On reddit).

I have come to the conclusion that Trustpilot is useful for some services, but one cannot use it when one wants to know the honest reliability of casinos and bookies. Because there have been too many reviewing campaigns by scammy casinos and bookies, which are always in search for money victims who trust those review sites.
