It's a habit reinforced by doing the same thing over and over and enjoying it. When I was hooked on dice and crash games, I had the need to log in to my favourite after dinner because I feel sleepy after dinner, and crash games and dice games excite me, so that my day is not complete without playing these two games, it's adrenaline pumping that even if I lose I don't mind at all as long as i feel energized because of the excitement.

Stress relieving or spending up something to ease up your stress after a long day work. Actually there's nothing wrong with it as long it could ease up your stress because thats the whole reason or purpose of gambling is to have fun and entertainment/leisure. On the moment that you've been already compromising the important things like money spending and your work or any other responsibilities then this is where things becomes sh%t.  Its important that you do really know your limit and we do know that gambling could really that ease up that boredom and also thats the whole purpose of it on the first place. As for the game of choice then it would be totally depending into someones interest. If you do find yourself on slot then others might be different whether they do want to play some dice or other casino games or simply they do want to spend up their time with poker or sports betting.

I agree with this one, once its become a routine it's really hard to change it. But I get what you are saying, OP. There are times that I get tired playing with sports betting and I want something new to try I usually go to dice game or crash game but due to it's repetitive and boring animation, it gets boring too. In slot, there's a lot of things you can see, like different pattern combinations, the animation and sometimes the thrill and sound of the near free bonus and of course the unpredictable winning multipliers. In short, slots stimulates your senses and your body do likes it, so if it becomes a habit or routine then it might also be a sign of addiction.

After you finish work, give time to slot game and enjoy. But I think it has become your habit now. If it is in the early stages, start controlling yourself now because this habit can lead to worse in the future. Even if you are not very interested in the game, it will not let you face much loss. I am very guilty of this! Whenever I have some free time to spare, I usually visit our local gambling website which is integrated in our financial application on my phone and try some slots. Part of unwinding is having something we do that we enjoy doing or just become part of a habit, and yes, I have the same habit as yours. Sometimes, I don't enjoy doing that, but I just do it because I want to relax, and I feel relaxed after playing my favorite games. It's more of a subconscious way of telling your brain what to do when you want to unwind.

I honestly do feel same most times mostly when am bored just like you and also in a strange or new place that limits me to evening strolls and hangout with friends.

I was like that before, but I stopped it. Instead of getting a rest, it can actually make you restless or worse, stressed.

But if you are a disciplined gambler and telling yourself that you are only going to spend an amount that you set, then I guess it's alright. It's not for me because I am the type of person who likes to get revenge, and I don't want to rest until I get back the money that I've lost.
Also, I don't want to do it before sleep. I'd rather watch some Anime or a TV series than gamble. I play slots on weekends now when there's really not much to do.
