I used to feel that way,  playing games when I’m bored just to ease up , i use it to keep myself busy , but I found out I was getting addicted, every little inconvenience, I mostly  found solace there, I get relief , so when that was my only option I wasn’t so comfortable anymore I have to stop and look for something else to do with my time ,it was now becoming a habit to me .

Gambling it's for entertainment, we are busy with different things all day long, our mind is not good, the fun we can enjoy through gambling changes the fatigue of the whole day or our mentality to some extent. If you cannot enjoy any kind of entertainment through gambling, if you understand that you are forced to gamble only because of habit, then I think it may be better to stop gambling. If you gamble only because of addiction, then it is a good decision to keep yourself away from gambling. If you understand that gambling is no longer limited to entertainment, then keep yourself away from gambling, otherwise gambling can slowly destroy your life.

I think this is a craving for gambling that’s way above normal levels. You really need to take better care of yourself. I don’t remember ever thinking about playing slots when I’m bored. No, slots doesn't come to my mind when I am bored.  There are lots of different activities I can do when I am bored, slots is the least thing I can think of. If it must come to gambling, I choose to watch sports channels instead.  Anyone who plays slots often out of boredom should be careful not to drive himself into addiction. Fortunately for me, I find slots quite boring. I prefer games where at least minimal skills are needed to play, and most modern slots are just spin-spin-spin... so, while I can play from time to time to kill the boredom, it's not one of the first things that first come to my mind to distract me.

I think your right it just get to the point where it become a habit so our brain are already wired to open the gambling website or applicatioin in my phone everytime or even when I just wake up in the morning, Luckily I was able to remove that habit because I learn a lot when it comes to finances, I wanted to change my finances and become financially free then retire early so I do everything and search everything on every knowledge or information that i can find on the internet, It change my priorities and remove gambling in my routine. I sometimes like that but not always especially if the work is tiring I choose to rest by sleeping after doing tiring activities that day, usually I do it on weekends to have thoughts of gambling when I don't have other routine activities and feel bored, gambling is an option for me to fill empty time and try my luck, I think we are the same here regarding the purpose of gambling.

In as much as we have the intentions to gamble for easing stress and all of that we should be conscious of time and how much we spend gambling. It shouldn't look like whenever we have spare time gamble is the things we spend our time doing, they say it take up to 30 to 60 days to do something repeatedly and make it a habit and in terms of gambling if we make gambling every day a habit it might turn out the opposite of what we initially wanted and bring about loses beyond our imagination. So my suggestion is having a total time we can spend gambling per week and how much we should spend in gambke per month.

Slots are really the easiest and fastest games which makes them extremely convenient but also entertaining. And is that not really what we are gambling for? The adrenaline rush and the quick entertainment that comes with it? Sure, slower bets like sports betting can also give you this rush but they take a lot of time and personally, I do not have the patience for it.

But it can become addictive because of how fast and easy it is so we really need to pace ourselves. Make budgets for funds and time, bet small and don't go beyond the budgets.

I don't do that often; it's just sometimes when I feel bored I can actually take that route most of the time where I spend my time.

Once I'm bored, if I don't want to step out, it's video games. I prefer to spend more time playing video games than at the casino. The casino part I just do occasionally because it's not free, so I go for something I can easily do for free. There are different ways of treating boredom without going into a financially draining thing like gambling. It's quite alright if once in a while you gamble to relieve yourself and that's just a normal thing but that bring said, it's neccesary you limit the way you go about gambling in times of boredom because chances are high that you're going to I continue gambling for a very long time it the boredom refuse to go away and that will only mean that you're certainly going to loose a lot in the process of gambling...

I agree with you and all said is true. It depends on the daily life style of an individual and what they are used to doing will determine what they do when boredom sets in. I personally  I prefer playing dice or driving moto race on my phone, with this after some time I will feel relieved  and be able to tackle the cause of the boredom and face reality again. All of this is just determine by ones habits put under scale of reality as it will place well showing  ones ability to control difficult situation.

First of all, I want to ask you honestly, do you really feel the urge to play slots only after work, or is it something that’s on your mind all the time?

If you only feel like playing after work and during your free time, then maybe it’s just a habit to relieve stress after a long day. But if you’re thinking about playing slots all the time, that could already be a sign of addiction. I’m saying this because I used to be like that, and in the end I lost all my savings and valuable belongings. 

So you really need to evaluate yourself, whether it’s just a habit, or already turning into an addiction.
