No doubt, I have always known the Sport and Gambling industry to be the most lucrative in the world in this era over the years,  and seeing $133 for betting, I'm also not surprised, because actually, almost everybody place a bet each weekend when premier League or championship games are to be played all over the world, and we all know that it's not everybody who place a bet that do win, because more than over 70% or more who place a bet on weekend or during match days will definitely lose the bet and the money goes back to the casino, and by so doing, they get more richer each day.

It's logical, and the records are being broken every year... and it's not a surprise. It's a game on a global level, internet/digital level where everything is faster, easier, and more accessible. It's like the natural evolution...

Honestly, I'm not surprised about this data. Sports betting is a dominant betting field for a very long time, the industry itself is worth billions and even trillions, so alot of people will want to go into it for sure. So yeah, I think it is very logical and accurate, cause I mean you said it yourself, it is the most loved and even ancient form of betting.

Other forms of betting is not as competitive and complex in terms of giving out so many options to bet on as sports betting do, so for it to dominate in the betting sector is not surprising at all.

That is not surprising me as I know sports attracts of many side parties to promote. They used sports to show their products and makes the audience curious so they will check on their store.

Sports have so many people from various age and they have their favorite player who wear sponsors in their cloth. With so many people watch, that still relevant and could be the good promotions.

That is fair, the sports betting industry is truly big.
We're seeing those sports books that are being advertised on the actual leagues like the NBA as fanduel is there.
And also in the soccer games, we see that often. So, this is not surprising to see how big the sports betting industry.
It's part of the sports industry and that's why it keeps on growing and maybe a double in market capitalization in projection after a year or two.

The outcome is logical for sure considering how widely spread sports betting is and how many people are actually involved in it, and we are not only talking about regular bettors who make $5-50 bets, but we are also talking about gambling sharks or whales who make bets in millions of dollars, and there are so many such people all over the world. So these stats are not over or unrealistic based on that, and these stats could increase in the next few years, undoubtedly, because people won't stop watching sports and as long as they do so, they won't stop making bets because they know there is money to be made in this industry, and we know that humans can never stop doing something that can possibly make them money, take gambling itself as an example.

About relevancy, of course it will always be relevant, as long as sports exist. To be honest I'm a little surprised by that information, but, even if I am surprised, I am not really shocked as I am aware of popularity of betting platforms. When you watch a football game you can see many commercials for casinos and gambling on ads that is bordering the football field, that alone says much as owners of gambling platforms wouldnt spend huge amounts of money for those ads if they arent profitable.

To be honest, I'm not surprised by these numbers. Nowadays, due to the great technological advancements, the price of smartphones, computers, and tablets has become so cheap that they are more accessible to many people, unlike 10 years ago. This has made it much easier for many people to access sports betting, and some governments have become less strict with casinos and betting houses.

It has also made it much easier for many betting houses to obtain local licenses and for people to deposit in local currencies and gamble. So it's not surprising that you see the number you posted. I believe that in the coming years it's possible that this number will increase significantly because people won't stop gambling.

The trend is that more and more people will enter the world of sports betting and bet large sums of money. As certain countries and their populations have better financial conditions, it will lead them to bet more and with more money. The gambling market still has a lot of room to grow.
