You could have started by doing some research on your own first and coming up with more specific questions.

Specifically when it comes to buying and selling Bitcoin, we’re not big fans of centralized exchanges on this forum. They have the most liquidity and are the most well-known, but having to go through KYC to trade has clear drawbacks. In other words, we prefer decentralized exchanges.

But I’d like to emphasize the “buying and selling” of Bitcoin. If you’re new to this, want to trade, and expect everything to be handed to you on a silver platter, I don’t foresee a very promising future for you. It’s much better to buy, hold, or practice dollar-cost averaging (DCA) with a long-term perspective.

Welcome to this forum, investing in bitcoin Is very good, I will advise you to buy and then hold it for long time so you can make good profit, you can be buy weekly or monthly they call this strategy DCA strategy. Hold the bitcoin you are buying weekly or monthly for 5 years and above.

Please don’t use exchange to invest in bitcoin use wallet and this are names of wallet you can use, Electrum, Trust Wallet, BlueWallet, Exodus. You can download this wallet on play store or Apple Store.
The reason why I’m telling you to use wallet is because is more safe than exchange, your bitcoin will be more secure and safe in wallet.

How to buy bitcoin, just go to YouTube and search how to purchase bitcoin? You will see video of it with examples as they are buying it.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot, my friend SuperBitMan your explanation really helped. I want to buy Bitcoin but dont know how to start your suggestions pointed me in the right direction. im thinking of trying DCA and will start with small amounts. i think of holding Bitcoin longterm sounds appealing but also a bit scary. i think exchanges felt risky, so your wallet recommendations are useful. so i’ll check the wallets you suggested and follow step bystep videos on YouTube. Thanks again.

If you prefer to buying BTC with no KYC, try Bisq, but the problem is not all payment methods are supported, and there are only a few supported currencies listed there. However, you can try checking Bisq first if you can find someone there that supports your payment method.

Sorry for being off-topic, but how does one of your posts above get merit? It looks unnatural, and it looks like the purpose of this thread is to secretly share the merit with alt accounts?

BTC is still bearish at the moment, but it is getting weak. The market might shift while the RSI is making a reversal pattern.

To get more advantage analyzing the market, why not try to subscribe to TradingView and unlock the $15 reward from your first subscription?

After doing your research about Bitcoin. Search for exchanges within your country that supports all kind of network. If your interest is on Bitcoin only, take out your time to learn DCA properly before starting an investment. Owning a bitcoin instantly is a very good initiative, for someone who is new in bitcoin, I will advise you own some fraction but don't start investing throughout i you have not learned about security. Wallet security, seed phrase, private keys. These are terminologies you will need to search and learn.

It depends, the exchange must support your location or country, do you mind sharing that?

Binance, OKX, and Bybit are my top favourites but if you are someone who cares about decentralisation you should look into Hodlhodl.

Not many people cares about passing KYC verification, if you are one of them then you are free to use any crypto exchange, just make sure that they are among one of the most used crypto exchanges in this space.

Kucoin, Mexc, bitget and Gate.io are also very good choices too, find out if your location is supported since you don't provide that details you should figure it out yourself.

It will be risky for a newbie to cryptocurrencies to start trading. Trading is a complex aspect of the cryptocurrency industry. The reason is that the market is highly volatile. So sometimes it is difficult to predict the market. If you are not knowledgeable about trading you might end up losing your capital.

It's good that you are asking about the exchange that will be good for you to start trading.  I suggest you check the crypto laws of your country to check if it is legal to do crypto trading. You should also confirm which exchange is legal in your country.  You should also note that you don't keep large sums in centralized platforms.

You're at least 5 years late with your welcome Wink

I would just add that anyone who has no idea about Bitcoin, wallets, exchanges, private keys and the like should first learn some things in theory, and then try to put them into practice. Even then, it is not recommended to buy for some large amounts, but start modestly and learn how to create a wallet, save a seed (backup) safely and test transactions of smaller value.

I hope that the OP is not one of those who do something every 6 years - first they create an account on the forum, then they ask questions, and then they decide to invest.

If you are really a newbie to the crypto ecosystem, it would be harder for to quick understand the concept of decentralization and real benefits of the blockchain, since you are just asking for how to buy and sell. It means you are mainly looking for bitcoin as a mean of trading. This is why I don't hesitate to recommend some CEX for you to start with smoothly. I can't find better than Binance P2P marketplace as it supports a wide range of payment methods accepted in almost every locality.

Thank you for replying to this message my friend KiaKia the information you have given is valuable to me i had heard of the Binance exchange. i will do research on this stock market and try to get information about whether it is used in my country. apart from that, i would like to investigate the concept of 'decentralization' in detail. because i dont want to deal with KYC. But do you think its worth doing Huh So no, you don't need to do it, do you say continue with a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange or do you say KYC is very important, definitely pay attention to this issue Huh Your opinions are important to me, brother.
i will also research the exchanges you mentioned above...

OP, I hope the questions you've asked (both here and the other thread you opened today) aren't just trolling? I've read a lot of users genuinely responded to you on that. It would be immoral if you already knew the answers to those questions but still asked them.

Your account was registered in December of 2020. The questions you asked aren't that difficult for anyone that has stayed here that long wouldn't have a layman's idea what they're.

Hi im delanuit new to bitcoin where should I start buying and selling it and which exchanges or apps do you recommend for security and ease of use?

thank you helpping
What I will advice you to do is to go and do some research on how to buy Bitcoin, I believe you will come across many exchanges like kucoin, binance, bitget or even bybit. Any of this are exchange where you can buy and sell Bitcoin except there is restrictions on any of them in your country. After making your research, you need to download any of those app and complete your KYC depending on the one your country support. After You are done with your KYC then you can start learning how to add fund, sell or withdraw funds. It's easy as that. Although there is a lot of work but you need to start somewhere.

Your account was registered in December of 2020. The questions you asked aren't that difficult for anyone that has stayed here that long wouldn't have a layman's idea what they're.
I thought as much, and was about to say that. so many things aren’t just adding up TBH.

Firstly, this account was created 2020 Dec. about 5 years and few months back and all of a sudden it just came back to life and started asking basic questions that he should know based on how long he has stayed here on the forum.

And then again, he is claiming he’s a newbie to Bitcoin, but he is also the one giving advise to people about Bitcoin:

Quote
hi Veloxcrypt i thing people who got in early had an advantage, but beginners can still make profits if they act smart. Patience, learning, and discipline pay off i believe rushing and blind following lose money...

i thing believe in “get rich quick” promises most are scams!!!  Cool
Since you know beginners in bitcoin need to be patient and learn, and you’ve been on here for over 5 years, meaning you should have been learning all this while. So while haven’t you learnt about how to buy Bitcoin?

And also, he even went ahead predicting the price of bitocin:

Quote
Before he could go be making price predictions, which means he knows and has information about Bitcoin

And lastly, this is also his statement giving advise to someone:

Quote
hi i think there likely won't be a single “next Bitcoin” innovations will continue, but none may fully replace Bitcoin.
I kind of feel he knows alot about Bitcoin. Which makes it kind of confusing to me why he’s claiming to be a newbie.

First of all posting multiple posts in a row is violation of forum rules, considering editing one and deleted the posts that you posted in rows.

Then low fee, convenience and no KYC is rare combo, you may fin some semi-decentralized swapping platforms that is good for crypto to crypto swaps but it is not recommended for big buys and sells, so consider choosing the regulated centralized exchanges where KYC is mandatory and your tax authorities will be reported about all your transactions or consider buying in the batches and accumulate the bitcoin.

Hi im delanuit new to bitcoin where should I start buying and selling it and which exchanges or apps do you recommend for security and ease of use?

thank you helpping
You are new to Bitcoin; I wouldn't advise you to start buying and selling on exchanges because when it comes to Bitcoin, it is important to have an understanding of it.

When there is no understanding of Bitcoin, people may want to take advantage of your limited knowledge.
You need to understand how to protect your Bitcoin and how exchanges work because exchanges are one of the platforms where scammers are always present.

greetings demondelanuit. of course this is a helpable issue and learning is always valuable. i would like to support you in learning about this and give you brief information about Bitcoin below...

for Bitcoin beginners, the priority is security and simplicity. i recommend that you choose applications that provide an interface and transfer in a way that the user can understand. open an account on trusted platforms that vary by regional reach, such as Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, etc., enable identity verification and two factor authentication (2FA) and practice buying and selling with a small amount. in this process, be active in the application to get to know the stock market. you should only leave the amount required for the transaction in the stock market.!! use a hardware wallet (Ledger/Trezor) to protect your assets on the exchange and store them for a long time. never forget that; practice risk management and be careful never to trade with capital you can't afford to lose!!

By taking security focused steps to get started, you can protect your capital in the long run and ensure informed participation in the crypto ecosystem...

thank you WannaParadise the information you’ve shared is truly invaluable. Your emphasis on security and simplicity is spot on the platforms you’ve recommended and your advice on 2FA, hardware wallets and risk management will shape my approach. i fully agree with your perspective; i’m grateful for your support and for sharing your experiences. i’ll put your advice into practice and get used to the interfaces by practising trading with a small amount. i’ll also prioritise security and only keep the amount strictly necessary for trading on the exchange. Thanks again  Smiley these lessons have been a real guide for me. Anf, which hardware wallet and 2FA method would you recommend?

Since you are not too familiar with Bitcoin yet, your first step towards buying and selling bitcoins should be to learn a lot about Bitcoin, security tips, storage, and an effective backup plan. At least, if you buy, you can be certain that the risk of losing it to scammers is very low, and you may not need extra help with other Bitcoin-related services. With the level of knowledge you have about Bitcoin, centralized exchanges like Bybit and Binance will be the most convenient for you, but centralized platforms are not advisable because they do not grant you the right to control your keys/bitcoins.

My candid advice: learn more about Bitcoin. As you grow more confident, you can trade Bitcoin without worries.
