Plant a tree every month until Bitcoin hits 200k

At first glance, one might think that rubbish like this has no place in a Bitcoin speculation section, but since there’s a similar thread, will this one be deleted or moved to ‘Off Topic’ just because the person who created it is a newbie? That wouldn’t seem very consistent.

In both cases, it’s apparently for a good cause. In one case, supposedly to improve people’s health, and in the other, to improve the health of the planet.

Let’s have a friendly discussion and see how things unfold.

Plants contribute to people's lives, but if we continue with this pattern, one's compound will be filled with trees only if the planting is going to work, and this particular thread might not be deleted or moved to off-topic,  but it will obviously not pull the kind of traffic the push-up thread is pulling because there is no merit source backing it up and the user is also a newbie.

I don't want to be a cynic, but some people are very good at turning everything inside out, which later looks very ugly, as if all useful things should definitely be rewarded.

Just planting a tree should be commonplace for any normal person. It's scary to imagine what kind of reports we might see about the planting of forests.

I doubt it will be deleted or moved to off topic because if it is then all similar threads ought to follow like the push up thread and others else it'll seem as stigmatisation simply because a newbie started the thread.

Loll.. fun fact by the way squirrels and a few rodents plant more trees than humans which accounts for how bad we are a "eco-friendlyness" topics like that push a vague agenda by direct relation to bitcoin and I'm sure over 80% of the posters on the thread care nothing about trees or excersing as the case may be.

The topic has been nuked which is better than for people to use it to spam. I still think the push up thread is better than planting a tree which is the reason it would have been deleted.

What I see more about pushup is that it can become a trend for awhile.

Can you just also lock this topic instead because the thread you are referring to as been deleted.

Your post is difficult to understand because you are posting what is very different from what is actually the truth because when I was about to post earlier on this thread, the topic has been deleted before I wanted to post. So which thread are you referring to because the topic has been deleted before you post.

A bitcoin antagonistic person can plant trees, cause of the important role trees plays in our environment.

For that, I see nothing unique about having to plant a tree monthly till bitcoin reaching whatever price.

You literally needs hectares of land to have this possible. How many users in the forum has a full one plot of land to their name? You cannot go about planting trees in any space you find. 

Assuming you have a land, was it purposed for trees planting. C'mon man, let redirect resource into planting (accumulating) the lest 100 sats into your wallet monthly quietly and private.

Surprised that this thread isn’t as popular as the push-up thread, I’m sure it would be different if the OP decides to go on a merit spree then suddenly everybody wants to climb stairs.

This is good because we might have to plant until desert becomes forest and BTC will be no where close to 200k.
The timing of the thread does not depict experience. It shouldn't be at this time when is not showing any sign of recovery. Touching 100k again is not something of today let alone 200k.

Removing this topic is a nice move and will not encourage such kind of topics.

I laughed so hard when i saw the thread. There are too many funny people here that deserves to find themselves creating comic contents on social media platforms instead of being in an educative forum like BTT.

The push-up thread makes sense because you can do a 100 of them realistically in a day. Even if you can't do 10, you can work towards it until you can eventually do 100. Push-ups are an intrinsically easy and repetitive workout:

1.) Lay on the floor
2.) Push-up
3.) Go back down
4.) Repeat

If the community is going to start a repetitive task commmunity movements as motivation and support for the 200k price point, it needs to be something even more repetitive, easier, and have a softer entry point than push-ups. Planting a tree is a nice incentive, but it's not easily repeatable and most people wouldn't go for it as you kinda have to go out of your way to do them.

My suggestion would be bicep curls. You can do them with 1-pound weights or 30-pound weights. You can do them almost anywhere. Plus, all of our arms would get swole as fuck and no one would think to mess with us nerds then.

When I consider the reputation of the pushup thread OP, might as well make it something really difficult - won't have to actually do it anyway.     But if you really want to do something for bitcoin (and not just for signature money) how about donating an item to the food bank everyday?  Or clean someone's sidewalk of snow until the price reaches whatever?    Get some media attention for bitcoin instead of needing a main character megathread.

Lol, I didn't think that thread was going to be deleted so fast. I think there’s a double standard here although I have great respect for the work of the moderators and the administrator.

Of course, in this thread – and in a thread on Meta – there’s bound to be someone on page 1 who posts without having read, not just the previous post, but the two posts preceding theirs, which state that the other thread has been deleted.

In any case, to try and understand the moderators, perhaps by the time the ‘push-ups’ thread was first reported, it was already quite a few pages long and there were lots of people claiming it had changed their lives.
