Since I want to be inclusive I invite Don Pedro to join the thread along with Og.

This is simple enough I have built my average of pushups to 100 a day and we did pass 100k price.

So this will be walk up  100 steps of stairs a day and of course back down the 100 steps. Total of 200 steps.

we do it until we reach 200k price.

and of course continue to do your pushups.

This is on  off topic for a good reason the spirit of compromise which if we do it correctly allows us to get in better shape.

Now for people with no steps to be found this could be harder for you.

I would say make a small platform and step 100 times and step down 100 times.

I have a six step then landing then a six step

it is 12 steps up and 12 steps down it would take 8 flights up and 8 flights down to add to 96 and I would simply do a few more to go to 100.

I will post here and in the pushup thread hoping that the combined effort pushes us past 200k by Dec 31 2025.

So

200k,philipma1957,1,100,12-25-2024

this is a copy of dirty key boards format .

the 200k is the goal "…."……………………. 200k
the name next…………………………………….. philipma1957
how many days you did the steps……… 1
total steps …………………………………….……. 100

date …."…………………………………..………….. 12-25-2024

lets get in better shape and richer and make friend Og and Don Pedro

I am hitting the steps today.

at dirtykeyboard you do not have to script this. but it would be nice.

So at my bro-in-law’s. its a straight shot of 13 steps to climb up.

So 7 x up is 91 7x down is 91

then nine steps up  nine steps down (backwards for those nine for different muscle use)

I am almost 68 years old so today I did 110 pushups and climbed 100 steps up then down.

the pushups were

30
35
25
20

then drove to my bro-in-law 84 minels in 90 minutes very early today.

ate a ton of food.

then

100 steps up and down

will eat more food
do more steps
and then drive a longer time back home.

this will be a very full day for me.

You see, you yourself know that the correct board for this type of thread is this one. The bad thing is that if it's here you won't have half as many people doing the challenge, or rather reporting that they're doing the challenge. If I were you, I would even consider moving it to Speculation.

In my case I appreciate the invitation but I've been doing sport regularly for years, and lately what I do is a combination of strength training in the gym with cardio (exercise bike, rowing machine and elliptical are the ones I use the most for cardio). So, I don't need a challenge to get fit, which may suit other people who start with little or no physical activity.

I've also had a couple of injuries recently, first I had a discomfort in my left arm which I had tests for and then I sprained my ankle. So now I'm resting but when I'm well I'll go back to the gym starting the first day with strength exercises all over the body and then adding more weight the following days and dividing the training by muscle groups.

The same with cardio. The first day back I'll do light cardio for half an hour to see how I feel, and over time I'll add more time or intensity, depending on the day, and some HIIT training.

In any case, congratulations on achieving your goals and continuing to increase your physical activity.

I'll keep an eye on this thread.

WELL I got to my goal of 100 pushup a day average took 75 or 76 days to get there. I know I need to keep it there. So I now do 110 a day and make the angle of pushup more difficult.

I started using the 4th step to make the angle .  So let's say normal pushup you are at  ___ to the floor with fourth step angle maybe you are like this / well not that easy.

I could only do 15 at the 4th step angle. I become able to do 40 at a time on the 3third step and did as many as 250 in a day. in under 90 days.

So I now do 2nd step angle and  3rd step angle total of 110.

I will move it to all 110 on 2nd step

Then a mix of 1st step and 2nd step

Then all first step

I may never do and step less fully normal angle pushups do to mesh for a hernia, but if I eventually get to 110 on first step that will be cool.

As for stairs I can do 600 steps up and down.

I am doing 100 up then 100 then 2 times a day.

The goal is to do 480 up and 480 down 2 times a day.  this is more time consuming.

100 steps up and back down takes 4 minutes

so 480 up and down is about  18-21 minutes of constant movement.

My doctor told me he wants me to do 30 minutes which is about 600 steps as I do slow when I do this many.

These will be slowly added.

If people want to join in here it's cool. But I would even do it alone. I think would need a waver for multiple consecutive posting if no one joins in here. It would be nice to get a few trying this on a steady basis.

I have a flight of 5 stairs, so I did 5 up and downs then 25 pushups.  Repeated 4 times.

Questions:
So we're not allowed to, for example, go to the water slide park.  There we go up 100 stairs and then slide all the way down.  That would be unacceptable or only 50 steps?

You answered my question about going backwards, hands on the rail!

I'm going to assume that if one naturally goes up and down steps throughout thier day, those can be counted?

Good to be among the early birds in this thread.

This is a good thread and a very good off-shoot of the general 100k push-up challenge thread. It is good to think in this direction and for my little time in the 100k challenge I have thought of how quick bitcoin will rise if everyone is this dedicated.

I am sure that this 200k thread will add to drive bitcoin higher within a very short time.
For the sake of this thread I will be forced to increase my number of pushups daily in sets.

There are lovers of vision and I'm part of them. I have thought about how possible it could be achieving this 200k.
You should not think of a waiver. I believe that others will still think of the need for this thread and key into it.

I will suggest you add this link daily when making reports on the general 100k to make it easy to access this thread.

Wow!  I will admit that it's better to enter a movie with low to no expectations, but wow i really loved Joker part Deux.  Yes I wish a few scenes had been a bit shorter, but in the end not.  Did the haters even watch the movie to the end?  Really looking forward to Joker le Trois.

200k, DirtyKeyboard, 2, 200, 2024-12-28

EDIT: I think part of the reason I liked it was how the movie expected you to know what happened in Part Uno or whatever, there were no flashbacks or anything like that.  So in the immortal words echoed by Dan Akroyd in Spies Like Us, "We mock what we don't understand."  EDIT: Upon reflection I think I do remember a Subway flashback.

BALANCE TO ME IS KING
HERE BELOW ARE THE ai GENERATED BLUEPRINT WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE A HELPFUL IMPLEMENT TO PRACTICING DAILY.

Enhanced Balance Board Blueprint with Guide Rails
Materials Needed:
Wood Board: Plywood (3/4 inch thick)
Roller: Four circular disks made from plywood (each about 6 inches in diameter) with a connecting bolt.
Blocks: Four wooden blocks (2 inches thick and 6 inches wide) to space the disks.
Guide Rails: Two wooden strips (each approximately 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch thick) that will act as rails to keep the roller aligned.
Bolt: A long bolt (approximately 10-12 inches) with nuts and washers to secure the roller.
Grip Tape: For the top surface of the balance board.
Finish: Wood stain or sealant (optional).
Dimensions:
Board Length: 30 to 36 inches
Board Width: 12 to 18 inches
Board Thickness: 3/4 inch
Roller Diameter: 6 inches (four circular disks)
Roller Thickness: 2 inches (each disk)
Block Dimensions: 2 inches thick by 6 inches wide
Guide Rail Dimensions: Approximately 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch thick
Bolt Length: 10-12 inches
Design:
Top View:
Draw a rectangle (30-36 inches long and 12-18 inches wide).
Mark the center line for where the roller will be placed.
Side View:
Show the board resting on the roller made of four circular plywood disks.
Indicate the height of the roller (total of 8 inches when assembled) and the thickness of the board (3/4 inch).
Roller Design:
Draw four circles (6 inches in diameter) to represent the disks.
Indicate that the disks will be aligned with two blocks between each pair of disks.
Guide Rails:
Draw two parallel lines on the bottom of the board, indicating the placement of the guide rails.
The rails should be positioned to fit snugly in the space between the disks, creating a channel for the roller to travel along without slipping off.
Grip Tape Placement:
Indicate the area on the top of the board where grip tape will be applied (covering the full surface).
Bolt and Assembly:
Illustrate the bolt running through the center of all four disks and secured with nuts and washers on both sides.
Block Placement:
Show the blocks positioned between the disks to create spacing.
Optional Features:
Add illustrations for rounded edges on the board for safety.
Indicate where to apply wood stain or sealant for protection.
Assembly Instructions:
Cut the Board: Cut the wood board to the desired dimensions.
Cut the Roller Disks: Cut four circular disks from plywood, each 6 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick.
Cut the Blocks: Cut four wooden blocks measuring 2 inches thick and 6 inches wide.
Cut the Guide Rails: Cut two wooden strips that are approximately 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch thick to serve as guide rails.
Drill Holes: Drill a hole through the center of each disk and through the blocks to accommodate the bolt.
Create Guide Rails:
Attach the guide rails to the bottom of the board, ensuring that they are aligned with the spacing of the disks and blocks.
The rails should be placed so that they form a channel for the disks to travel within, preventing lateral movement.
Assemble the Roller:
Stack the disks alternating with blocks: Disk, Block, Disk, Block, Disk, Block, Disk.
Place the bolt through the center of the assembly and secure it with nuts and washers.
Ensure that all disks and blocks can rotate freely.
Sand the Edges: Sand the edges and surfaces of the board and roller for a smooth finish.
Apply Grip Tape: Attach grip tape to the top surface of the board.
Test Stability: Place the board on top of the roller assembly, ensuring the guide rails align with the disks, and test for stability and balance.

It seems like there is a new challenge here and I'm starting to be moved again to join this challenge because apart from combining with the previous challenge for Push ups, it is also quite good for health. Grin

The problem is that the facilities in my area are not very adequate so in the end the stairs look difficult to do, is it possible to replace it with regular walking because incidentally I also still do this on the field for a few rounds when doing the push up challenge.

Do you have a hill?

Could be a small hill.

Go up 🔝 turn around go down turn around go up ⬆️

they key is you are actually lifting more weight as you go up the hill.

If you walk on a flat surface you do not get the same benefit.

But if all you can do is walk on a flat surface. Do at least 10 minutes each day in one shot. preferably right after your set of pushups.

Even though I couldn't locate this forum easily today, I knew I had a challenge to undertake. Getting up early this morning, I got my push-up done, but still ended up having 160 today again in 3 sets.
I seriously need to work on my endurance so that I could match this reward and I will definitely device a way to address it soonest, maybe by tomorrow.

200k,philipma1957,3,300,12-27-2024

these stairs are very hard to do if you roll from a set of pushups  to the stairs.

So I did 28set of pushups then 102 steps up and 102 steps down.

still puffing as I type.
I realised that You've not been consistent with the report pattern. Your report yesterday made me think you were intentional about writing 12-27-2024 which made me report in that manner, but your report today has taken another pattern.

Pls let us know the right one for this particular thread. Whether it's the same as that of 100k...

It's the year first.  I updated the instructions under the table.  Not putting the date is the easiest imo.
