Bitcoin is unique, and no other cryptocurrency will ever be able to achieve the accomplishments it has made. So, instead of looking for something similar to Bitcoin, why not invest directly in Bitcoin?

Regarding altcoin, it is a purely speculative market fraught with risk and scam...therefore, you should do your own research and make your own decision. Do not invest based on other people's advice because nobody know what will happen to the altcoin market in the future.

That's quite true. Investing in altcoins has not been that easy as it used to be in the past. Due to a number of altcoins hitting the markets every year, it is only getting more difficult to identify a potential project and most of the time is wasted in making research about a shady project which might show profit potential at the start but once we dig deeper, we get to know there is nothing backing the project and it can collapse with a single tweet from the founder. These coins show dreams about making 100x returns on the capital but less than 1% of these projects are really worth investing. Finding these top 1% projects is not that easy and would need countless hours of research which I am sure new investors would hardly consider.

Bitcoins on the other hand is the most suitable investing option for people like OP as the risk is much lower. Yes, profits might seem lower as well but at least loss is not guaranteed here. Starting slow in bitcoins will also make one understand the markets and once they gain the importance of knowledge, they can slowly and gradually start moving towards altcoins.

These good altcoins in the market are having less invetsors because many investors are looking for a quick way to make money from the market and they are not ready to be patience when investing in altcoins but will prefer to invest in bad projects that have lost of fake promises. There a lot of altcoins than can be trusted and they are low in price and the same time they can be trusted and for those that can not afford altcoins I feel like there is nothing bad investing in them just that when you are making a choice on which one you have to be certain because that is the only way they be part of this investment but a lot of people are always focusing onnthe fact that it's only bitcoin and we know that bitcoin investment ia there but there is nothing wrong with some altcoins also.

Bitcoin is one the most profitable crypto currency in history cause the value it has amount to over the years is so massive and can't be matched with any other crypto currency, basically even some stock and commodities. It is very difficult for altcoins to achieve growth like Bitcoin. Because most of them do not have any specific project or fundamentals and no real use-case and the biggest thing is that its long term adoption is almost non-existent. But the demand and adaptation of Bitcoin is increasing day by day and its price decreases from new ATH and reaches new ATH again. So in my opinion, investing in altcoins in the long term is more risky than Bitcoin, although Bitcoin cannot be compared with altcoins. Bitcoin is now seen as digital gold, so Bitcoin has beaten gold, it is partly right. But investing in altcoins means a kind of gambling, you are sure to lose but you can also suddenly win.

There are altcoins like this that are worth investing in. While I won't be naming names this time, I think it's always important to go for altcoins where their teams have strong skin in the game. For instance now, Binance team and even CZ have strong alignment and skin in making Bnb as valuable as possible. I'm not recommending bnb buys. I'm just saying this are the kind of things that are worthy to look at when we research about altcoins worthy of our time and money.

Many altcoins are like casino a bit? you can win fast but also lose very fast, no stability like bitcoin. But I dont fully agree it only luck, some altcoins has real use, good team, good development. Problem is most poeple dont reasearch, they just follow hype or influencers, then of course they crash.

Bitcoin is more safe for long term, yes, this I agree. But altcoins can still give good returns if you pick carefully and dont go all in like crazy. For me I do like this, big part in BTC, small part in altcoins for higher risk or reward and always take profit, dont just hodl forever like people say.

Unfortunately there will always be people who will claim that there will be coins and tokens which will go up a lot. Typical way is that "you missed bitcoin and you regrated it, do not miss... and you won't regret a second time", type of stuff.

They are acting as if the token they are shilling will also go up like bitcoin and if you are not buying it, then you are going to miss your chance to profit. 99.99999% of the time, those things just go to zero or very low and not go up like bitcoin did.

There is no specific token that can be guaranteed for long-term profit from altcoins, but there are some tokens which are performing quite well among altcoins these days.

Example: BNB, ETH and more SUI, SOL

Even if you hold for the long term, the profit is usually not that significant. Still, these coins are currently in a good position when it comes to investing in altcoins.
