Has anyone else experienced being incredibly bored of slot games and not even wanting to hear their sound even for a split second?

After experiencing continuous losses (even though I could afford them) I can't help but think slots are incredibly boring and not worth spending any time on. I tried several games, even went for lower volatility and for promos but still the losses kept piling up. In the end the urge to give up was incredibly large.

Now I'm at a point where I can't even conceive the idea of playing slots again. I've never experienced losing money so fast in any other casino game. Even if you want to exercise restraint, with slots, you simply can't. Maybe it's a logical phobia that I developed but I think it might also be just bordom.

On a side note, if you ever want to get rid of thoughts to play a certain game, maybe try to convince yourself that it's boring answering to yourself with all the reasons why it's a fatiguing game whenever you think of playing it.

This has happened to me before but I am using just little amount of money on casino games, not just on only slots, but it get to a time that I just felt bored and I did not gamble on the casinos for a long time but the gambling sites have other part which are the bookies. I just bet on sport matches instead and not necessarily frequent. In fact, this happened to me just of recent. I think when someone lose is the reason the games are no interesting at that moment.

I think that's quite common. At first it's even fun, but after losing several times it gets boring very quickly.

Hahaha... The game is usually is more interesting when we are winning and I bet no profitable games which gamblers are making it successful would ever be bored over it because that is the thrill that makes the game much fun.
The boredom comes when you are loosing in a long term or streak.

Actually if I must say, the slot game is an innocent game provider to your grief Op that is if your point is all because you kept loosing.

Maybe you can call it boring but the fact that you have made a pile of losses, that only tells that you enjoy playing the game even if it means consistent losing in the end. But yeah, that's up for you if you see slots that way, if that's the only way you can easily get rid of losses from playing slots.

You know its normal to act that way because I understand the fact that you are losing a lot, that even the sound of some slot games make you sick hearing of it. No I have not experienced that yet.  Although I experience series of loses in slots, I never get bored with it probably because I always decide to take a break before I really get frustrated to the point of hating the sound of the slot games.

The slot does not get boring but you getting frustrated and angry because the game does not go with the way you wanted it and yet you continue to gamble until you totally hate the experience of losing streak.

Something that used to be fun could become so f annoying when it starts draining you, same is happening to you regarding slot , where it feels like you’re recalling your loss everytime you hear those sounds ..

The idea of not playing slot again, is only for the moment so far you’re  used to playing it .. Once you’re all fixed again you will still have the urge to place some wagers and everything might just be back to normal by then .

Although I'm not into slots yes I've muted it before considering I did the auto spin when I tried to join a contests here organized I guess by Hhampuz hunting that massive multiplier. Yeah I think it's boring and ever since I never really played it unless there's some free spins to try on. We could have different perspectives on it and others may find it great especially if they've been playing in it for years.

I think the fatigue part was more on the constant focusing on those spinning widgets and I've got the same feeling on it, it's like you're being hypnotized on it but not in a comfortable way. Yeah  that happens to me a lot too and I can assure you it’s usually a temporary feeling most of the time, if you start gambling again it’s probably because your finances are low and you can’t afford a proper session or you’re just a little upset but I know how gambling addiction works it doesn’t just stop on its own like that

I have been in this situation before, and even many times bit I know they reason for it. Don’t worry, that won’t last long. Eventually you’ll forget your losses and start missing the game again, then you’re back to playing like usual. 

The important thing here is not to bet big. That’s not suitable for slots since the house edge is very high, and you’ll most likely lose. Just go with small bets and hope for a big win, that’s really the best approach.

There's a saying that 'one man's meat is another man's poison,' and it's very applicable to this story on ground because while you currently find slot games boring because of the much accumulated losses, another person may be so engulfed and intrigued by the sound of display and may even be luckier with frequent wins regardless.

I think everyone has been there and take it as your signal that you need to take a break. Which is totally fine.

Your mind and body needs a reset. Try some other game totally different from slot. maybe learn a new one. Or better still, tryout some outdoor hobby that involves other and after a while, you can get back to slot. Slots are such cool games that people may fine hard to move on from( my personal opinion though)

With so many slot games available, there’s really a lot to enjoy. At the end of the day, it’s on us to make sure we’re gambling with a clear mind.

One thing I always remind myself when playing slots is to treat it purely as entertainment. It’s very different from sports betting, because with slots you can’t really analyze anything, so there’s no consistency. With sports betting, at least there’s a chance to study and improve, so maybe that’s something worth trying if you want a more controlled approach.
