That's what I also felt after playing slots for quite a while. Eventually, it gets tiring or less fun to the point that you prefer to stop midway and move on to play something different. Maybe it's just a phase most of us go through because the same thing can happen on other casino games, and it's no joke to find the same level of enjoyment when you've gone through the whole list. I'm starting to think that my fatigue back then might've given me the push to try forms of gambling until I found sports betting to be more enjoyable than most casino games.
From my observation every game actually feels that way at some point, sometimes you stop midway and play another game or log out of the casino for the day. But if gamblers feel fatigued when playing certain games why do they still lose too much and gamble without control when they can just take a break easily, that's because most of them chase losses even when they feel tired and exhausted of gambling. Everything is exhausting including sports betting as well, it's a matter of time before you feel that way.

The feeling that they can win big on their next bet is what makes every gambler motivated to continue playing despite experiencing gambling fatigue or tons of losses while gambling.

Only gambler that still not comfortable on the games they are playing are those who can think a sense of taking break if they already tired gambling.

But for those gambling already hard core on certain games it’s very hard to stop midway.

It’s true that the only thing that draws people to gambling is money or winning this is what keeps many people coming back to gambling time and again. But you’re right when it comes to slot machines, it makes sense to call them boring. Still, we can’t deny that what really draws us in is the money. If you do get bored with the gambling you’re doing, that’s actually a good thing, because it might make you stop for a while. Another option is to choose a different game there are plenty available with interfaces you haven’t seen yet. But if you’re not interested in trying other games, it might be better to just take a break first, because that could still lead to losing money as well.

Both of your points on slots and how money is the primary attraction are good. The gameplay may grow tedious and monotonous with time, but the prospect of winning makes people go back. It is a good sign, though, to feel bored because it might cause a person to take a step back and reconsider his/her habits. A change in other types of gambling could be a way to renew the experience, though it will not eliminate the dangers. There are times when you should just relax, control your boundaries, and not to gamble on losses just because it is exciting.
Furthermore, the predictability of losing can actually prompt someone to reconsider before gambling again however, not many people do this they tend to keep gambling with the same habits or perhaps even more recklessly. This exhaustion can have a positive effect on some people, or perhaps even those who gamble with the goal of making money will feel the same way when they’ve had enough of chasing wins that never come. The difference here is that the exhaustion is mental, not physical, and this mental exhaustion can become more severe if it continues, as it can lead to stress.

Has anyone else experienced being incredibly bored of slot games and not even wanting to hear their sound even for a split second?

After experiencing continuous losses (even though I could afford them) I can't help but think slots are incredibly boring and not worth spending any time on. I tried several games, even went for lower volatility and for promos but still the losses kept piling up. In the end the urge to give up was incredibly large.

Now I'm at a point where I can't even conceive the idea of playing slots again. I've never experienced losing money so fast in any other casino game. Even if you want to exercise restraint, with slots, you simply can't. Maybe it's a logical phobia that I developed but I think it might also be just bordom.
I've gone through this very same experiences a couple of times with slot games, and it's often the loses that often gets me to this level of boredness, and there are times when I play slot games until reaching this level, I can go for one year plus without playing any slot game..

When I started gambling as a newbie, I began as a slot player, I loved playing slot so much that I didn't bother about sports betting for a very long time, but with time when I got bored of playing because most of the time, I was always losing money, this was when I decided to begin to try to learn how to bet on sports games because at that time, I realized I needed something else to play on any time I am no longer interested in slot games, and today, I've come to like sports betting much more than slot games.. 😁

I myself have felt tired when playing slots with no end, so the balance that I use is not increased by making a profit or not running out too, I have played various kinds of games to get clear results whether it is losing or winning but it doesn't happen at all as a result I just leave it and play it another time.

I wanted to switch my interest to sports betting but it didn't last long, and eventually I went back to slot gambling.

On a side note, if you ever want to get rid of thoughts to play a certain game, maybe try to convince yourself that it's boring answering to yourself with all the reasons why it's a fatiguing game whenever you think of playing it.

This is the exact feeling you will get when slots are mean to you, everything goodluck will be like stolen from you, I know this feeling, I've went on for two months without winning anything on a casino in slots, I never gave up and I was even looking forward to breaking the record that I can use against them, like oh I played slots on a casino for a whole year without making anything back, but they proved me wrong later on, I won something meaningful, I think it's best to never expect anything back from gambling and also keep using what you can afford to lose without minding too much.

Logical phobia formation is very useful it will be very useful for those who want to reduce gambling activities or quit addiction, this is a form of using reason to suppress the mentality or psychology in thinking, but of course with the control of reason full of strength reasons why we should reduce gambling or stop addiction.

I was once in a phase of addiction that made me stop gambling because of continuous losses so developed a mindset that made me stop gambling almost the same case as the OP, and then came back with a much saner mind as a gambler who didn't seem to care about the money he lost and didn't really hope for a win, although there was still a little hope of luck but it didn't make it something I had to pursue as quickly as possible.

You should have looked for other casinos that have the slot games that are interesting to you so that you can use to bet and see if you are going to be in profit or still going to be in loss. It is better when you try different casinos when gambling so they you don't have to think that a casino is depriving you of the chances of making profits. You may make profits today and lose it tomorrow becoming very hard to be on a winning streaks for a long time.

Slots are incredibly boring, but that's the downside of their appeal. They're designed to unwind and take your mind off things while you play. Let's say you've had a tough day, working a difficult and stressful job. While there wasn't much fun in it, there were plenty of reasons to ruin your mood. So, the workday is over... why not indulge in a little slots? Bright, beautiful colors, simple animations, exciting sounds, and sometimes you even win...

it depends, if i lose two dollars on a game i don't care, but if i start losing 200 or 2000 it becomes really bad, for this reason yes mentality is ok, yes psychology is ok but it also depends on how you are positioned in terms of well-being
it all depends on that, unfortunately.

The meaning of losing it is indeed a value of his emotional a gambler, but from what we see from the number of gamblers lose money from the amount he can not afford to lose it and become a recurring problem, you may survive with a gambling arrangement that is very good and able to control yourself, but anyone who is stuck in a situation where he always loses money that makes him continue to pursue it, then controlling reason by forming such a logical phobia formation can be an option.

I am not feels bored playing slot games even I lost many times. I only stops from play slot games but still return to casinos if I have free time just to play some spins or bet. But I admitted that playing slot can drain our money fast than others especially if we can't control our desire and still spins chasing the win.

Playing slot games needs control and that is difficult if you don't learn time to time. But if you still bored playing slot, you should stops your gambling routine and leave it for a while to calm down your minds. We don't have to play gambling games especially if we are not in a good mode, that could makes us lose controls.

You're absolutely right! If you want to stop thinking about a game, you absolutely have to convince yourself it's boring and uninteresting. 🙋

That's exactly how I overcame my gambling addiction in the past. I became addicted to playing roulette in a land-based casino. When my life became dull and colorless, and all I could think about was gambling, I realized I had developed a gambling addiction.

I found a way to overcome my gambling addiction by convincing myself that playing roulette was boring and uninteresting. I started playing computer strategy games. The interface of a computer game is much more interesting than that of a roulette wheel. Regiments of soldiers march, cannons fire, ships sail, peasants harvest crops, generals issue orders... I constantly reminded myself that playing computer games is much more interesting than playing roulette. As a result, I overcame my gambling addiction.

In my opinion, playing slots at an online casino is even more boring than playing roulette at night in a land-based casino. Yes, casino marketers use various tricks to literally hypnotize players. But at their core, these are very boring games.

Currently, my favorite form of gambling is sports betting. I prefer it to all other forms of gambling. 💁

I think the moment we discovered that there is no more fun in what you are doing, then it is our sole responsibility to try to readjust for another day, that we are not deriving the necessary satisfaction in playing slot or does not even have the appetite for that day, our luck is not with gambling as in that time and we had better engage on other things that could lead to quality engagement than waiting on till we begin to lose confidence.

Not just a recurring problem, it becomes the absolute problem that ruins you.
Unfortunately, addiction leads you to have these problems, it is not something unknown, in fact it is something very well known.
Then i don't know, I'm certainly not a psychologist, i don't know how to operate in these situations.

I am also not a psychologist with an official letter or legality in terms of this science, but I once fell into the same abyss in addiction you do not need to be a psychologist to know that it is enough to be able to listen to your thoughts, a person needs to be able to measure himself in any case to find the most appropriate answer for him, because in my environment there is no addiction rehabilitation so I decided to figure out how to suppress the wrong path in me by relying on a logical phobia of something that I consider necessary in less, suppressed or eliminated, it's like instilling a doctrine in yourself.

What you're describing isn't necessarily just boredom. It could be that your brain has started associating slot machines with frustration instead of excitement. The lights, sounds, and near-miss animations are designed to keep players engaged, but repeated losses can eventually make those same stimuli feel irritating rather than rewarding.
I also agree with what @Akbarkoe mentioned about using that "logical phobia" to your advantage. If slot machines now feel repetitive and emotionally draining instead of entertaining, that's actually a useful shift in perspective. Rather than relying entirely on willpower, you've started viewing them through experience instead of anticipation.
Long term, that's probably one of the strongest reasons people manage to quit. Once the excitement disappears and all that's left is the realization of the house edge, walking away becomes much easier.

The fun in playing slots, in my case, is lost, and I believe it's because of the long playing time. I tried to play again, but got so bored really early, like everything is scripted, and you already know where it will go. To a zero balance.

I guess the fatigue started months ago, back when I was playing many hours of slots, and there are times when I feel like puking whenever I see the same results come out. Bonus round giving out below x20 or sometimes literally zero, and that's the breaking point for me to stop playing. It's unhealthy and time-consuming.

I think the right way to play it is just like what you said. A little slot after work and that's it. Maybe just  15-30 minutes of play time while having a coffee.

That is what I always say to myself when starting to play slot machines everytime I had a difficult workday and when you just start playing you immediately feel better. The problems start to arise when consecutive losing games start coming your way and then that bad day at work becomes even worse just because of this happening which can also be called slot fatigue. That is why I never gamble again when I am mad, to ease the stress I have found out watching "corn" is much more effective.

Just a few weeks ago, I realized that playing slots no longer evokes any emotion in me. I just watch calmly. It's even getting boring. It's something new for me. Most likely, I'm tired of them because they don't bring the desired effect. Constantly losing is tiresome. So, I put it on the back burner for a while and am pursuing another hobby that definitely brings results and emotional satisfaction.

Your losses can vary depending on how much pressure you experience. If you gamble 24/7, you’ll probably become addicted, and that’s when the real stress begins. You can’t sleep on time because you keep thinking about gambling. When you feel bored, you play slots, lose, and then chase your losses.

Slots are supposed to be just for fun, so you don’t have to play them all the time. The house edge is very high, so eventually, you’ll still lose in the long run. But it doesn’t really matter as long as you have control. What makes us lose more is when we lose control, become emotional, and keep gambling. That kind of stress is really not good for you, to be honest.
