I honestly doubt there are many people here who are consistently winning from slots, or already truly profitable and still actively playing now. So why do you still play, and what keeps you coming back?

Some offer on sports betting has higher house edge than slot games especially if you will bet on parlay. The only advantage of sports betting over slot games is the skill based while slot games is pure random that’s it’s harder to win on slot than sports betting.

I actually agree with you, I'm the other one who really doesn't like slots due to their high house edge. But the thing is, those people were after the fun and not after the money and some people were looking for the high risk, high reward. Sometimes if you are lucky enough, you'd be able to hit some good multiplier in just couple of rolls and I think they are after that instead of long term playing. On the other hand, there are some people who just bored sometimes (like me) and just wanted to stimulate their senses and goes to slots to have some fun.

The truth is that everybody can not bet on slot, there are many games apart from slot. I believe we have the roulette, backarat, blackjack, poker, bingo and all that. We Also have the sportbet which is the football game and also MBA. It is base in individual differences. If you think you are not making any progress on slot games then you can switch to sport betting because I have Also come across many people complaining about the slot game and how less profitable it is. And there is no reason to keep yourself stagnated to what is not profitable. I wouldn't encourage you to continue if it is not working for you.

The answer is simple; the reason why people play slots even when they know that the house edge is 3% to 4% is because of the temptation that they have for getting those big wins which they believe can change their lives, and slots providers promote their games using this method for a reason. Whenever you see a promotional banner for a slot game from either a casino or from a game provider, you will notice that the highest multiplier is mentioned there, and that is because they know it will create a temptation within greedy gamblers, and they will think trying it out, thinking what if they hit the big win? But we all know that the odds for those enormous wins are extremely tiny, so that only maybe one in a million gamblers might hit it.

Some people to play games that offer instant rewards even though the chances of winning are quite low compared to sports betting but people take their chances with slot games. And it is all about preference, asides from making profit a lot of people enjoy playing spins and just trying to get Lucky, this is what keeps them entertained. What you like isn't going to be the same with someone else that's just how it is. The most important thing is gambling responsibly.

I have few reasons why I do play slots most of the time:

• The animation makes me feel better than other games such as dice or other games which may make me bored too fast
• The chance of hitting various multiplier in every single spin which is unavailable in other games

3%-4% is pretty close to some table games anyway, and measurable compared to sports betting. But slots players don't really care about the house edge since they care about the gaming experience and the thousands of games provided by various providers. This is what I noticed about slots, but not only slots but also all casino games that I know that I am playing like dice and roulettes. To be fair, other game that you mentioned especially dice game has the same way of determining results which through randomness. Dice has low house edge compared to slot however it’s not a big deal for regular player playing just 10 minutes on any games.

Slot has better graphics and gives an opportunity of high multiplier on each spin while dice and other games only give a return based on your setup desired winning chance.

Slot is not my favorite but I will choose it over house games.

Isn’t it normal to still play even knowing how high the house edge is. Even before online slots, there were physical casino slots and people still played them just for fun. That’s really the main reason why we play, to enjoy, and winning is just a bonus.
