I also think this no KYC era is slowly starting to disappear, which makes sense when looking at how much stricter government regulation is getting. I really agree that even if a casino does not require KYC or advertises itself as no KYC, that does not mean users are fully free from it. Casinos still have rules, either their own internal rules or pressure from outside regulation. I have personally seen a few casinos change from no KYC to KYC, so it should not be a surprise if someone gets asked for it someday too, and sooner or later the no KYC claim from a casino will likely fade away.
KYC is not really bad but the way casinos are doing making some gamblers to hate it. They select 🆔 cards, which is a national accepted 🆔 and requesting when a gambler wins big, those are not good if a casino wants to request for KYC from participants, they should do it before depositing and that is what centralized exchanges do, so when you deposit and win win, you won't have issue of KYC again. You are correct, if a casino says No KYC but when there is an issue, or big wins, they ask KYC so No KYC grammar is not gate way again. And every understanding gambler supposed know that.

They can pull their KYC cards against their users anytime, from casinos to centralized exchanges. I disagree if you say centralized exchanges do it better than online casinos because they all have similar terms to request KYC, or further evidence on users when they find something suspicious with user accounts and activities with deposits, trading, gambling and withdrawals.

I dislike this but it's not all responsibility of centralized exchanges or casinos, it's also responsibility of users who don't read FAQ or search in ToS.

e careful using Binance & Centralized Exchange
Sanctioned Services and the service traceability to this forum, Any danger? It's Binance too.
OKX frozen my account and required me to KYC with a less than $1,000 deposit.

And there are reports about MEXC too.

Sorry for going outside the content a little bit but just for a reference purpose. What I mean was that, they asked KYC before you deposit to the exchange and if you have ot done KYC and confirmed by them, you can't sell or trade what you have deposited and from experienced, I have not been asked KYC after the first submission and I was expecting casinos to do the same procedure and not when you have deposited funds and wins games and when you want to withdraw, that is the time KYC is asked and if you are not giving them why they want you funds are gone forever. That is bad. Well, the cases you presented are different from what I was saying. I have experienced restrictions from exchange when the funds comes from some kind of mixers or casinos. But that is not what is discussed.

I also think this no KYC era is slowly starting to disappear, which makes sense when looking at how much stricter government regulation is getting.
Governments have been doing this faster than what I thought but likely you thought the same too. From AML, KYC (but not too mandatory, and enforcement was not too strict), now AML and KYC everywhere, then we have MiCA and likely more in the future.

First, it can be their buzzle words for advertisement, saying no KYC while there are terms and sections for KYC in their ToS.
Second, from centralized exchanges to casinos, KYC is always dangerous and useless, and it has been repeatedly warned many times and everywhere.

Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless.
Centralized services frequently locking people out of their accounts and demanding KYC.

I don’t see why every player should pass KYC before even making a deposit. That makes sense for Binance, but crypto casinos are a different thing. A lot of people use them exactly because they don’t want to send documents unless there is a real reason.

Stake and Rollbit don’t verify every account from day one either. Most players use the site normally, while KYC can still be requested if something triggers an AML check. DustBit works in a similar way.

For me the problem isn’t KYC itself, but how and when it is used. Asking questions after a very large or unusual transaction is understandable. Waiting until the player wins and then suddenly finding ten new reasons to delay the withdrawal is not.

Maybe this should be explained more clearly in the OP. No mandatory KYC doesn’t mean KYC is impossible.

Casinos has there different way when it comes to KYC and I don’t know why they usually don’t make it very clear at first so there customers will understand or will know what to expect as they use the casino, some casino usually come up with different KYC policies when you win huge amount of money and you want to withdraw and this KYC policies are not on their guidelines and sometimes it’s very frustrating when you see things like this. I have experienced something like this however, when I successfully withdraw the money I won I stopped using the casino till date.

This isn't surprising, and you shouldn't expect things to be any different at another casino if you win big again. Almost every casino's user agreement states that they may require KYC in certain cases. I think large wins will always be subject to such requirements. I don't know why this is, perhaps it has to do with regulators requiring this from casinos to prevent money laundering. But if you're playing with small amounts of money and the casino positions itself as no KYC, then I think nine times out of ten you'll be able to play and withdraw small winnings without any problems.

Governments globally have become more stricter with AML and KYC, and it's popularly with all industries, not only in online gambling industry. KYC is not only to prevent money laundering but for other purposes of government benefit. Talking about danger and uselessness of KYC is a very repeated one as it has been discussed and warned many times already.

You can do that with your very first deposits, then withdrawals especially when they just launch their casino for a while because the earliest operation time is to create a honeypot. If a company intend to scam, they will wait till their platform becomes bigger a little bit till a day they feel like user deposits are big enough for their scam plan, then a scam exit will be rugged.

I gave this friendly match a try a couple of days ago. Didn't know most of the players when I saw the final line-ups, but turned out it was worth it.

It was a small sweat as there was this quick Atletio goal, which felt quite pleasing, but then nothing happened in the first half. Was good to see a fast goal in the second half, which pretty much meant the win as I was quite sure one more goal is more than likely.

As for the KYC issues discussed here, I am wondering how many casinos advertise themselves as "no KYC" when in fact they do require KYC. At the end of the day it is always the same strategy: advertise as no KYC and then argue that there are edge cases where they have to ask for documentation. What's an edge case? Totally up to them and over time it usually turned out to be cases when larger amounts are involved. I'd rather prefer them to ask for KYC right away, but even then there were cases I think here in the forum when funds were held back despite having KYC accepted beforehand.

And then how many casinos are there that provide services in countries where they are not allowed to and still ask for KYC?

As for the KYC issues discussed here, I am wondering how many casinos advertise themselves as "no KYC" when in fact they do require KYC. At the end of the day it is always the same strategy: advertise as no KYC and then argue that there are edge cases where they have to ask for documentation. What's an edge case? Totally up to them and over time it usually turned out to be cases when larger amounts are involved. I'd rather prefer them to ask for KYC right away, but even then there were cases I think here in the forum when funds were held back despite having KYC accepted beforehand.
You can try to check casinos' ToS, at least with companies that have advertisement through Signature campaigns in this forum. Some can sell their names as no KYC but there are terms to trigger KYC, and I remember that many months ago, the forum community were very against this idea.

What changed?
With time it seems community have gotten familiar with that and it's understandable. You can dislike it but can not actually change something like that, for example with more and stricter AML and KYC enforcement from governments.

Not only KYC, some casinos also do something shady with restricted locations, like they allow people register accounts and wait later to trigger that geographical restrictions for terminating user accounts.
Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries?

I gave this friendly match a try a couple of days ago. Didn't know most of the players when I saw the final line-ups, but turned out it was worth it.

It was a small sweat as there was this quick Atletio goal, which felt quite pleasing, but then nothing happened in the first half. Was good to see a fast goal in the second half, which pretty much meant the win as I was quite sure one more goal is more than likely.

As for the KYC issues discussed here, I am wondering how many casinos advertise themselves as "no KYC" when in fact they do require KYC.

Players who have already made a withdrawal have already found the answer regarding the KYC process we’re discussing here.
When you register an account here, the casino reserves the right to verify your identity through KYC procedures, as stated in the Terms of Service (TOS) under the account registration section. They also include a statement in the deposits and withdrawals section indicating that they may conduct additional verification before processing a withdrawal.
My concern is that players from countries where gambling is prohibited by law may have been able to enjoy the games up until now, which could lead to problems when they attempt to make a withdrawal.

If Dustbit allows people to register accounts, use the service and their ToS has no information about restricted nations or geolocations, they will have no reasons to challenge users with withdrawals later.

In fact Dustbit has a short list of restricted geolocations, you can see with section 8 and the last line is important. According to it, people who are from countries with gambling prohibition are not allowed to use Dustbit.

Do you expect a casino to make their terms more clearer to you when you can seek for clarification from their support.
There are words casino can use in their TOS which can mean a lot of things depending on your mode of comprehension.
If you don't understand the TOS of a casino, you can ask their support or send them an email for comprehensive explanation so you don't fall for the trap of what their TOS implies. Gambling platforms are not supposed to be strict to the extent of having manipulative summaries on their terms.

I don't know if there is a single casino that truly has their ToS stating that there won't be KYC. I think they all have it, but some of them try to stay closer to that claim of operating without KYC than others. Normally I don't care whether they have it or not, I think the highly reputable casinos on this forum have proven that they understand how to deal with KYC and in most cases when someone brings it forward that they had do undergo KYC, something was going on. What I would like is when players who have done nothing wrong, haven't logged in from an illegal location and haven't played particularly high stakes or suspicious strategies, would report if they ran into KYC suddenly for pretty much negligible amounts. It is still the right of the casino to do KYC if they have suspicious cases, but if they have in bold letters saying "NO KYC CASINO", I think they should at least be halfway true about it.

I gave this friendly match a try a couple of days ago. Didn't know most of the players when I saw the final line-ups, but turned out it was worth it.

That's not really proving anything, you usually don't trigger KYC if you have a single withdrawal that's rather small than big. That usually works, all that counts to me is how it's handled over time and that way you build trust with a casino. If you notice that a casino processes quickly over several months and you are a regular player, I think that is when you can more or less be sure to have an easy gambling time with them. And of course be prepared to be willing to do KYC if you risk bigger amounts.

I’ve noticed a section on restricted regions in the dustbit.com terms of service that concerns me—specifically, the possibility that players who are enjoying the game without any issues at first might face serious problems down the road.
The terms of service do not fully list the restricted regions; it only mentions six countries.
I’m not trying to make an issue of this, but players should be aware of this point, and Dustbits representatives can also help ensure a positive gaming experience for users.

When it comes to these restricted locations it is a slippery slope to get entangled in. Even if the country you are in is not specifically mentioned your region can still be affected by their terms of service. For example, one incident from another casino which didn't have Argentina listed as one country not able to gamble on their site the user was from Buenos Aires. It seems the capital city does have different laws when it comes to online gambling from the rest of their region.
So just as you have mentioned it might be best to ask their online support if your city is not prohibited before making a deposit on the site.

I'm not sure such extremes are necessary. If my country isn't on the list of banned countries for playing at this casino, and I can easily access the casino and register without a VPN, then I don't see any point in bothering support to confirm whether I can play. It's obvious that if I can log in and register, then I can play. If you have any doubts, you can play with small amounts of money and check how the withdrawal works before playing with larger amounts.

Can you share the terms and conditions for this? I am considering the offer, but is this for us specifically or who is eligible. I can't find it on their website I think and would like to know what the rollover requirements etc. are. Especially on the bonus amount for the deposit, what is the rollover requirement if I primarily go for betting on sports and what about slots? Slots is usually 35x, or is this different?

Especially on the bonus amount for the deposit, what is the rollover requirement if I primarily go for betting on sports and what about slots? Slots is usually 35x, or is this different?
This is also a good thing to ask about. Since the official terms are not clear yet, based on the FAQ I saw and the rules other casinos usually apply, the rollover is often the same at 35x. But to know the exact requirement given by Dustbit, it seems the only way is to deposit first using the given code so the terms show up under the promotions section of the account. Usually the rollover for slot games is counted at 100%, different from other games like original games, and if betting on sports, it will likely not be counted in full.
