EasyBit.com - Scam Alert & Lack of Response from SwapSpace

I’m posting this to raise awareness about a serious issue I’ve encountered with EasyBit.com, a cryptocurrency exchange that I found through SwapSpace.

After attempting an exchange through SwapSpace, I was redirected to EasyBit.com, which immediately raised red flags. Not only is there a troubling lack of transparency on the platform, but multiple users have flagged EasyBit as a scam on different forums, including Reddit and Trustpilot.

Despite these warnings, SwapSpace continues to list EasyBit as a partner and has even praised their services with high ratings. This is a serious concern because users like myself trust SwapSpace to only recommend trustworthy platforms.

What’s even more frustrating is that after facing an issue with my transaction, I reached out to SwapSpace multiple times, but they have ignored my emails. This complete lack of support and the situation with EasyBit makes me feel like I am being scammed and left with no recourse.

I believe that SwapSpace should take responsibility for recommending such a platform and stop listing them until further investigation is done into their practices. If SwapSpace is committed to providing a safe exchange environment, they should remove EasyBit from their platform immediately and issue a refund to all users affected by potential fraud.

If you are considering using SwapSpace for exchanges, beware of this issue and take caution when dealing with their listed partners.

SwapSpace is an aggregator, so they’ll show you whatever options are available. At the end of the day, it's on us to DYOR before touching any of their partners.

I noticed that EasyBit is listed with a 4.5 rating on Trustpilot, but, when you visit [Trustpilot], you’ll see a warning stating that the rating is unavailable due to a breach of guidelines, and that several fake reviews have been removed.

Personally, I don’t think it’s safe to fully trust any exchange listed on SwapSpace platform or similar aggregators especially when the reviews shown on their platform may not be reliable as may be not backed by verifiable exchange IDs.

Don’t make SwapSpace your only source for research. It’s way better to cross-check any exchange across different platforms to be safe.

I hope you can include solid evidence in your post so it can serve as a helpful reference for others.

swapspace doesn't give a fuck, they list partners that make them the most profit.
i checked their "best offers" on a few pairs, and i would not touch a single exchange they recommended, most of them are selective scammers (n.exchange, changelly, fixedfloat, changeNOW...)

did your coins get confiscated by easybit? or what exactly is the issue?
you should edit your post and add more details with proof as mentioned above. that would make your post more convincing.

It's very unfortunate that you ended up being one of the victims of the said exchanger.
I don't know how much they scammed from you, but this guy was scammed 0.1 BTC - easybit.com Scammed me of 0.1 BTC

Bestchange sometimes sides with the scammers, but by the time they delist the exchanger from their platform, it means that the complaints became too much. Please try to carry out more due diligence next time

UPDATE (Support Response):

I have contacted EasyBit support multiple times regarding my transaction.

However, all I receive is the same copy-pasted response, with no real update or resolution:

"As previously mentioned, your case has been assigned to our senior team, and at this stage, we as support agents do not have direct access to its review process.
Please be informed that the responsible team will contact you within the stated timeframe. We kindly ask for your patience while they complete the necessary checks.
We also want to note that leaving negative reviews will not expedite the process, as all cases are handled in accordance with internal procedures. Rest assured, once the review is completed, you will be promptly updated."

Concerns:

No clear reason has been provided for holding my funds
No timeframe has actually been respected
No real human support interaction, only automated replies

At this point, I do not know what to do anymore. My funds are stuck, and I am left without any real support or solution.

This situation is extremely concerning and unprofessional.

For a while, I used SwapSpace as a trading and a crypto exchange aggregator, but I stopped after CHANGEHERO.IO/SWAPSPACE.CO scammed me out of 10k TEZOS!

Unfortunately, according to their terms of service, there's not much you can do, and their partner^[1] list isn't good; they still support ChangeHero/Changelly.

I reviewed the Easybit exchange and found that this is not the first time they’ve had such issues. There have been previous reports from users who still haven’t received their funds and have had their assets stuck.

Based on these findings, I can confidently say that this platform does not appear trustworthy and shows multiple signs of being a scam. There is no clear information about the owners or the team behind it, which is a major red flag. There are also claims that they have cases filed against them with federal authorities and may be held accountable in court soon.

In any case, if you receive any updates regarding your situation, please share them here so others can stay informed.

UPDATE (April 01, 2026):

EasyBit/SwapSpace initially told me the review process would take up to 24 hours. Now, after 24 hours, they say:

"At this stage, we are unable to provide a precise timeline beyond the estimated timeframe, as it depends on the outcome of the ongoing checks. Once the review is finalized, you will receive a detailed update via email."

This is unacceptable. These are small-time scammers, and soon every member of the project—from the founder to the smallest team member—will face legal action, as many people have already been defrauded.

Users, be extremely cautious when dealing with these platforms.

During our investigation, We believe have identified the founder of EasyBit:

Micheal Dupree Jr.

We are currently trying to gather more information about him and the team behind this project, as there is a serious lack of transparency regarding ownership and operations.

Given the number of complaints and similar cases reported by other users, this raises even more concerns about the legitimacy of this platform.
