This is indeed an ugly experience, the lives of innocent people have been wasted for no cause. Well, thank God for the intervention of the security agencies. But I feel placing curfew is not enough, further investigation should be carried out to ensure these gunmen are brought to book, and a drastic action should be taken against them to preven further occurrence.

Honestly this is really sad to hear that places like Jos going quiet like this shows how serious the situation is. When market are empty and people are forced to stay indoors out of fear then you know that things has gone beyond ordinary. I agree with your point about the curfew because it can help calm things properly and prevents more attack but that is not the full solution, I hope you know that. After a while people still need to come out, work and survive. For me the main thing is what happens after the curfew? there has to be proper investigation, arrest and real consequences because if nothing happens to those who are responsible, this same thing will keep happening. If this things are not addressed properly even peace in the state and communities affected won’t last long. At the end of the day what really matters is that people just want to feel safe in their own environment and it’s only Justice that will actually prevent the next one from happening not just by curfew, curfew will only reduce the tension.

On Sunday 29/3/2026 being Palm Sunday that the attack was carried out in Jos is one of the saddest days in Nigeria, where  citizens are killed like animals and nothing will be done about it by the federal government just as the case of Benue that has been swept under the carpet, the introduction of curfew won't be a remedy to the situation, what I expected the federal government to do is to go after the pepertrators of the ugly act because they know them and those behind it, it was a horrible scene to behold.

Curfew will cause more hardship in the town because people can't move freely and go about their business freely in that area, they will live in perpetual fear. This terrorist should be haunted and brought to book, the federal government can do it but they feel reluctant to protect the lives of Nigeria which will result to self defense by the citizens, in as much as they have placed curfew they should also go after them in their camps and destroy them in totally, enough of the killings.

What then would the curfew do, curb the incessant killings or would it bring those who are dead back to life? I always say this that the federal government is clueless, they don't have brains. Instead of going after the perpetrators and bring them to justice  they imposing a 48 hours curfew. How many people have died from their incompetence and how many promises have they broken already?. They would keep on counting dead bodies unless those perpetrators are exposed and brought to justice. The people of Jos should abide to what Verydarkman has said "defend yourselves and don't wait for the government anymore". Because there is a strong chance that after these political sympathise is over, those perpetrators may return to kill more people.
