The whole Strait is not closed, there is a passage near Iran that ships are allowed to pass through but those ships are paying Iranian government money before they can pass. In total, the ships that are passing there are still significantly reduced after the war started.

What I know Trump has been saying and which is the answer to the question that you asked is that United States does not rely on the Strait, that United States has enough oil. Do not mind Trump, anything that is happening in that Strait will affect the world and affect United States.

And Iran responded to that condition with the conditions they offered to Trump from the Iranian side:

United States undervalued Iran. They said they have won but only the nuclear enrichment part is where we them them won. Iran still has enough missiles and drones than they expected. United States want regime change, they said their is regime change but we know that is a big lie. Let us see what will happen, but Trump is already giving statement like United States may soon leave West Asia. About the paratroopers that were deployed recently, we do not yet know their aim. What is extortion there, the main thing is that they blocked the strait because United States and Israel are killing them. They are also attacking the Gulf nations because of the same reason. Now they said they will begin to bomb United States companies like Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Google in the Gulf nations starting from today in retaliation to anything military operations United States and Israel is carrying out in their country. This is not true and completely wrong and also far from the truth. Where did you read the news that says all Iranian missiles have been blown? There is still ongoing war in West Asia with Iran launching missiles and drones.

The war at day 34 which is today, Iran has launched multiple strikes at Israel which were intercepted in Tel Aviv but at least 4 people were reportedly injured. Iran also attacked Port City of Hifur.

Only what we have noticed that United States did is that they destroyed Iran nuclear facilities just as I posted. Iran missiles capabilities has reduced but they still have missiles and not small amount.

Iran knows that a day like this would come when they will be attacked by the US and Israel. My take is that they are well-prepared for this war.

Trump has promised to hit Iran hard for the next two to three weeks. Today he seems to be fulfilling his promise because there are large scale attack on Iranian infrastructure. A steel plant and bridge in Iran have been hit. Iran has vowed to retaliate. We don't know which form the response will take.

If the truth most be told, if most oil passing through the Iran Sea are majorly to regions that are china or other countries inclined and not so tied to US why should their continue to use only one currency like Dollars at least the Chinese yuan.

Trump is indirectly telling the other nation to support in the fight if they want to oil. Fight for yourself, means join us or suffer. I wouldn't say it is impossible to either tell right from wrong but it does require looking beyond the statement in its self and relating it to the political calculations currently playing out among them. I see Trump's statement and less of a strict policy accuracy and more about him positioning themselves. He is someone who tend to speak in a very direct and confrontational way which can make his comments sound inconsistent or even confusing but it does not actually mean what he is saying is entirely baseless. Trump also knows what he's doing only his approach will is what people find inconsistent and lack deep thoughts. Trump is indeed a leader which thrives in causing conflict and chaos.
