Is prediction market fun? I have been on prediction market since some days now, but I do not see it as fun, all I was looking for is just money. I have been winning all the events that I am predicting and it is basically about bitcoin daily price prediction, but the money earned is small and I know I can lose it in just one day. I have used $50 to earn 3 to $8 daily but it can not be as expected all the time.

How about you, are you using the prediction market for money making or just for fun or both? I still make sure that I risk wisely and I am not using more than $50 for each bet.

Frankly, I have been wrong in the lastest occasions I decided to partake on the prediction market. The biggest miss I had was when I though Trump could have lost the lastest presidential election in the United States. I under-estimated his actual chances of winning back then, and since that occasion I have decided to step back and wait for midterm elections.

When comes to sports, I have mostly paid attention to baseball and Football, being the World Cup the most important event in which I will bet the most.

In the prediction market, I'm more for fun than for money, to see how far my intuition aligns with the real events that occur. We all know that we can't earn much from predictions that are highly likely to happen, unlike in real gambling platforms where we can easily get 1,5x - 3x. Just like you, I also have limits on market predictions, so far the highest bet I have made is $30, I will make sure that I will never go further than that number.

Don't know never participate any but I think it's only fun if you're winning with those huge odds at the line. I think that's a risky one considering even at a low odd that's not a guaranteed win because at just few spikes of the price if you're into bitcoin, that will probably blow your chance. I think I'm good at sports betting as it's where fun really is observed especially if you're betting on your favorite team or player.

I haven't been on it but I can clearly see that it is boring unless there's a huge anticipation on what you've been betting. It's cool yeah considering they are new.

Many bet on the American presidential election and yes Trump won and many got big wins from the Presidential Election Winner 2024 bet at Polymarket.
The initial score was indeed quite thin but then Trump began to take the lead and became the winner.

The hearts of Chelsea players are no longer with the club. Chelsea's head coach has made his intentions clear by speaking to the press that Chelsea may not qualify for the Champions League and that he has to focus on the future. I've not started making use of prediction market, though of a friend of mine was telling me just a day before yesterday that he decided to sign up on a prediction  and made some bets, and that he couldn't believe what he saw, that it's so cool to bet on prediction markets, he made me want to believe that winning and making money on prediction market is way more easier that it is to win and make money from normal casinos.

I never had any plan of signing up and joining any prediction market any time soon but seeing the lots of good things people are saying about the market, I am currently super tempted to want to give the market a try, but that still won't be now since I have alot at hand I am dealing with, so I'm just going to wish you good luck with your predictions..
And one question I want to ask is, what happens to normal casinos if everyone should move into prediction market.?

So unfortunate for you mate, Chelsea performance towards that league qualification right now is very low and to be fair you are seriously on the verge of losing this prediction. Chelsea’s performance is absolutely not encouraging at all because they haven’t been making any progressive moves so far and the coach also isn’t more productive just as like their previous coach Enzo Maresca.
 Truth be told Maresca has put in so much confidence in the team and also he surely gave them good coaching time and they did made a a lot of progress during Enzo Maresca’s tenure.

I tried making predictions on the prediction market for a while, but only for a few days, and then I returned to betting because it's more familiar to me. I couldn't find anything suitable and settled on sporting events, so it doesn't matter to me where I place my bets, and casinos are more familiar. I found a few bets that I might have placed, but they were all long-term, and I didn't want to wait too long.

I haven't used the prediction market to bet on any event since it's not that interesting to me. I am waiting for abig event which I can bet on. For now, I stick to casino games and use bookmakers to bet on sportbet. OP, you should know that gambling is for fun and not to make profits. Prediction market isn't different.

Since I do not have insider information, the "prediction market" is not interesting to me. And betting on easily controlled events in the hope of guessing where the manipulators will turn the result - well... Maybe it's better to gamble? It's like another form of trading. Soon, they will probably come up with a new scientific discipline for prediction markets, "predictive analysis" - by analogy with technical analysis, which is essentially a set of signs for guessing the actions of conditional Soros.

For gambling and having fun then using prediction market wouldn't give you the fun you often think of having from the site because it's mainly for events predictions and whenever the time is reached you either lose or win. Many people may turn it into money making because they felt using it for short time predictions could give them what they want as you are using it currently. To be honest, I do not spend much time over there, instead while gambling I used of one the reputable site and makes gaming there.

It's unfortunate that your first prediction in the polymarket is turning against you, although I think it's not a new thing anymore because it is what we experience in the game. To be honest this is the worst season so far for Chelsea they have been in a losing streak for a while now so I can not afford to pay attention anymore because I have lost countless times with them that is enough for me to give them a long distance.

I never bet on them, they are still unregulated in my region so need to use VPN to access polymarket and others. So I just still with the traditional sportsbooks for the betting on sports and for the political and other events I am not that interested on betting them.

$3-$8 is not too bad for one day, right? What about the results that don't match, does your bankroll now decrease which means you lose? It seems like betting on daily bitcoin price prediction will be more difficult, unless I see a lot of people betting on daily bitcoin price using bots.

$50 consider it as fun, more than that then I will consider it chasing profit... but indeed most of us are always looking for profit

Earning $3-$8 daily is nice amount you can win and if you wants to earn more, you can bet on other things you know.

At least, that is gamblers will do so they will place more bets on other things.

I am using the prediction market both for making money and just for fun. If I know the bet, I will place bet and if I don't know, I will skip and search for others. I am not forcing myself to bet on the thing that I don't know.

Prediction markets are cool as you have so many options you can pick as your bet. But better to bet on the thing you know.

I've honestly not tried a prediction market before, but isn't it similar to just gambling? Since you are predicting on what is going to happen later or in the future? The risks are still very much present.

What I am pretty sure that I am missing is the fun part, honestly if I have to try it out it will be all for fun not for money making, I have seen whereby people bet on funny things and also sad things happening around the world.

You can bet on wars, election and many things that aren't possible in other platforms, it happens that I haven't seen something interesting that I want to place a bet on using prediction market.

Didn't count my stats at the moment and I don't want to know for know if I'm winning or not, because I find it so stressful tracking my win lose record on any gambling options I participate. But so far what's important for me is actually I'm still happy and interested to bet on certain great events.

Although I don't bet much on prediction market , but I still find that option as great venue to have fun and winning is just a bonus.

Are you using the prediction market for sport betting also? I have search for it before on a prediction market and it was not that different from gambling sites. But the only difference is that you can sell at anytime on the prediction market, unlike the cash out that the bookies may decide to make unavailable at times and make it available again.

There are speculations that some top US government officials are cashing out large amounts from prediction sites. Since they have insider information about the policy thrust of the government, it is aiding them to predict correctly. I have not used any of these prediction sites recently. I am more comfortable with sports betting. I doubt that these prediction platforms will offer more entertainment like sports betting.
