Are you making money in prediction market or you at a loss?

I haven't Predict the price of bitcoin with money, but I came across a thread where they predict the price of bitcoin in weeks time probably 2-3 weeks but it doesn't require money just a free Prediction but the closest winner will be awarded with free bet or money. But this particular one you're saying here seems different from this one I'm talking about because yours required money and even if I'm going to predict the price of bitcoin I think I will just do it for fun i won't focus on wining because it is very hard to get an accurate Prediction due to its volatile nature.

My market predictions are mostly for fun and nothing more because I am not good at guessing and the analysis is going as expected these days due to the market condition. I know people predict the market for money, but I mostly do that when I want to trade and it is usually based on charts and how the market conditions go at that particular period. Some people predict and get rewarded for that which is nice, but risking money on it is something I can’t do.

I will prefer to play sport betting, make predictions on the football matches I am sure of them some money and move on that’s the easiest gambling activity in my opinion because I am not good at guessing, and football analysis can give you hint and if you not greedy, you can get some money.

I find myself losing more and going to the side of loss anytime I choose to be greedy, I mean in sports betting, I normally have this discipline on the fact that predicting and gambling is for fun and most times when I start making money consecutively on each bets, I find myself being more greedy, hence going back to lose, lol, guess that's the paradox of my prediction life.

Since i joined the forum i haven't seen were bitcoin price is been predicted with a stake of funds, it always be free prediction that will last within one month period or two weeks period depending on the time frame of the predictions, and after the predictions, users that predicted accurately or closely to the current price of Bitcoin always go home with a token...so it has been the results of bitcoin predictions in the forum...

The fact about prediction market is very complex, predicting an unknown outcome within a circle sounds fun at same time risky due to the level of speculation not being certain. I indulge in prediction market a lot of time mostly sports definitely I’m conversant with sports related activity but, I hardly win from it because the prediction made end up wrongly so each time I lose my bet reason why I don’t consider the prediction market as previous times.

Since I do not have insider information, the "prediction market" is not interesting to me. And betting on easily controlled events in the hope of guessing where the manipulators will turn the result - well... Maybe it's better to gamble? It's like another form of trading. Soon, they will probably come up with a new scientific discipline for prediction markets, "predictive analysis" - by analogy with technical analysis, which is essentially a set of signs for guessing the actions of conditional Soros.

There are speculations that some top US government officials are cashing out large amounts from prediction sites. Since they have insider information about the policy thrust of the government, it is aiding them to predict correctly. I have not used any of these prediction sites recently. I am more comfortable with sports betting. I doubt that these prediction platforms will offer more entertainment like sports betting.

I would not say such speculation is wrong or right but if it is true I will say they have alot to say to others that plays with normal prediction tactics. Although at times i will be tempted to agree on such speculation because if that is not true, how then can someone confidently stake  an unimaginable game and it still comes to reality at last.  
Some prediction site at times appears so sure that one maybe tempted to ask why they are that confident in there prediction.

It's fun if you're making some money there. And that's why you'll have to look for those predictions that you have some idea on how it will do. I don't use prediction markets, they're on a hype now and that's fine if a lot of us are into it. As long as you're making some profits in there and it's not making you addicted from doing it. They're cool in a sense that it has opened to the idea of odd bets for which the crypto bookies have got before. Just continue with that limit that you have set for yourself because many are not following their own limits.

I haven't place a bet on prediction market with real money but I have placed with ohms token on futuur market, it works like demo account. The results wasn't big though but the predictions was cool. What made me not to continue using it again was because predictions took to long before winning, some predictions were weekly reward based, some months.

This let me paused on playing on prediction market.

I don't see much fun in prediction markets because I have not made the decision about participating in such a model of gambling since I'm enjoying slot games and sports betting. However, you using $50 to bet and win $8 seem to be a dangerous gamble, or is it not that you're risking $50 to win $8?
I ask this question because i am yet to fully understand how prediction market gambling works.

Was just talking abouit this in another post. I am wondering why you don't see it as fun? Seems like you may have won a little bit but if you're doing it just on the bitcoin price I can see why it wouldn't be quite as fun maybe especially right now when the market it down. Maybe it woudl be way more fun if bitcoin went UP lol. It will don't you worry  but for now keep making those bets! I think the prediction markets are cool too and I like to see what everyone is betting on. They make great for topics of discussion as well.

You can not understand how prediction market is until you visit a prediction market site, but you will still not know all until you bet on the site.

Yes, I used $50 to win $8. Yesterday I used $49 to win $54. It remain just little for me to lose the money as bitcoin fall to $66000 but my bet was that bitcoin will be above $66000 on the 2nd of April.

I have withdrawn my money for now after I won the money.

I’ve made a couple bucks with prediction markets but mostly just so that I can get a feel for using it. I haven’t tried to make any predictions that would pay out a decent amount. I do think the experience feels a little green and think it will quickly evolve into a better experience.

Predicting prices is fun, but I don't have much success with it. This means that most of the time the predictions I make about prices are not fruitful or accurate. I avoid these things because I'm not very good at predicting. I'm more comfortable betting on sports because there's an opportunity for analysis as well as the chance of winning. When the candles are moving randomly you can't make accurate predictions about prices even if you're an experienced investor.

I'm just observing for now. I'd like to give it a try, but I need to really get a handle on it. I haven't had the time yet to sit down and really figure out how it works. Overall, it's interesting, and I'm seeing a lot of people here on the forum already doing this and even having success. I might sit down this weekend and make a few predictions.

I am glad you gave this instance, and that is the prediction market for you. There have been so many events such as this in the past, but all were swept under the carpet, as nobody could go against them just because it was a prediction market, but the process is being manipulated based on information and influence. This is also applicable to the prediction that involves the government, as we have seen in just a few events that happened last month, and we all saw for ourselves how it happened, and I believe the majority lost heavily to it because they thought that could be the least or last thing Trump could do to humiliate a sitting president of a nation.

I will not lie for you back, then in the beginning of the season I was really lossing much money in the prediction market due to my partner of prediction was not favorable to me but the moment i release that i needed to improve my skills in prediction and ever since i succeed in improving my skills in my prediction, i has been experiencing winning than losing in the prediction market, secondly to be lucky in winning in the prediction market recently is not really easy for gamblers because things are changing as the day is passing by and which gamblers needs to be updated to predict rightly.

I am a newbie to the prediction market. What’s the difference between predicting BTC price in the prediction market and futures trading BTC? I mean, in both cases you have a price threshold, at which price (or price range) you’ll lose your bet in the prediction market and at which price you’ll be liquidated in your futures trading position.




I am planning to jump into the prediction market. Is it too late? I read that some people are deploying bots that can do all the prediction market activities automatically 24/7, by using Claude through OpenClaw. CMIIW. Most of the stories that I read say they are able to make big money in just a few days. I want to know if members of this forum have ever tried it or are currently doing the same thing.

Placing a bet on prediction market is interesting as we can use knowledge picking the choice. Although we can't win many times, we can win some by predicting the right. It is good if you can make money on prediction market but you should still be careful with your greed as that can comes without realize.

I am not play with prediction market very often but I can feels the fun on that. Not many people can makes money on gambling but you do the right thing. The important is you know how to deal the risk wisely and not use more than you can afford.

I have not make use of the prediction market but I have checked Polymarket and there are different things or events to predict. And it s only Polymarket which I know that is a prediction website. And coming to the understanding of the events it is not a gambling site so there is no fun in the prediction market because it is purely for profit making.

Yes bro there are a lot of topics and events for bets there. But there are other prediction platforms but the most notable are polymarket and kalshi. I see a lot of new prediction market on X posted and some CT are posting it since they are early on it.

I assumed some are just farm site for generalizing the potential airdrops. Since prediction market got hit its hype at the moment so I think there will be more prediction market coming out.
