Well with both you can never be 100% sure there is not something fishy going on in the background. With sports betting any player can be paid off secretely to throw a game. Hell, you could easily pay off anyone to get the result that you want.

Even then you are supposed to know how to read it, and if you can't you have to depend on someone who can.

As far as trust is concerned I definitely trust sports betting more. It would take a pretty big conspiracy in order for a sports bet to be fraudulent whereas bad slot machines definitely exist… There are just less ways that a sports bet could be a scam as opposed to typical casino games.

You have a point but there is no way you can be under control when playing any game this includes sports betting, you can only increase your chances of winning but this doesn't mean that you are in control of the game. Remember that in sports betting there are times you can go through a winning streak this is just a phase and it doesn't mean you control the game.

Honestly, the provably fair system with all the seeds and hashes is not something that gets much attention. Not because it's complicated, but because the most important part of it is hidden from players. Casino games are still played sometimes and one habit that usually comes up during a long losing streak is switching the client seed. I disagree with you because in gambling someone can be in charge or take control on how they gamble by gambling responsibly using money they can afford to lose but the only thing I know a gambler can not control or be in charge is winning, no matter how we gamble and no matter the kind of strategy we are using we can not be in charge of winning because loss is always inevitable in gambling though some gamblers think or feel they are in charge whenever they win or whenever they are in a winning streak but they are not.

It's not a new thing. All games can be manipulated, but in sport betting the chances are reduced alot. That because we get to see these games live with no central power behind them.
