The safety and security of Nigerian citizens lies in the hands of the government. Both the location government, state government, and the federal government, and I believe if local government, state and federal government can work in synergy, this problem of banditry will come to an end or reduce drastically. Honestly, i feel the government is not doing their best to quench problem of banditry, and is an indirect way of telling the citizens that their lives are not valued.

We need divine intervention in this country Nigeria, because the rate at which innocent citizens are dieing is disheartening.

It is with dismay that I keep seeing news of abducted victims and killings everyday in Nigeria and nothing is being done by the government, they only visit the scene and make empty promises of curtailing the situation and bringing the pepertrators of those acts to book yet nothing is done, our politicians take the lives of the citizens for granted to the extent of not taking positive steps to end the killings by bandits, the innocent citizens keep dying everyday. It's very pathetic.

If the three Authorities  which are the federal, state and local government work in synergy to fight terrorist in this country they will surely overpower them but they feel reluctant about it that's to tell you that they know exactly what they are doing and those sponsoring them to be killing the citizens. It was just few days ago that we heard about the killings in Jos, today we are hearing of another killing in Kwara State again. Enough is enough, the people needs to arm themselves for self defense since the government can't protect us anymore.

This happening again in kwara state shows how insecurity has become in this country. Security is supposed to be the responsibility of the government at all levels but if they fail to work properly together, it will be hard to tackle this kind of issues that keeps happening in and around each states. I feel it’s not about effort but about result because firm the way thing are going it really doesn’t look like enough is being done by this so called government and that alone gives so much worry to the people and victims of the affected communities. People are now leaving in fear in their own communities and that alone is not normal at all. For me beyond just talking, there has to be stronger actions and better coordination from each and everyone and that also includes the government im all levels. We all deserve to feel safe where we live not constantly afraid.

We don’t need any divine intervention, majority of our problems are caused by we Nigerians, see the level of death for more than 8years and yet Nigerians won’t come out and protest for all this to stop, it’s even high time people find means of protecting themselves either by forming local vigilance in various areas since the government have failed.

Nigerians are too adaptive and that is why most of this problems continue to thrive, if anytime one citizens is killed the rest immediately take to the streets and gates of this politicians with serious protest you will see that the government will sit up, this continues killings of innocent people is really getting alarming, people must rise and protect themselves else they will kill everyone, Nigerians mostly feel less concerned about coming out to protest and fight for justice as long as it’s not affecting them directly but the truth is soon the menace will spread across everywhere, if people don’t come out and protest, protect themselves and make the government know that they are tired of the whole stuff then let them be ready for the worst, see the current fuel hike Nigerians are also so comfortable and adaptive, they are still buying fuel at that high rate making the government always feel that the masses will always accept any nonsense policy they throw at them.
