This is bear run so dumps are to be expected, unless Bitcoin price dumps bellow $20k that is when I can begin to worry because considering where Bitcoin ATH has reached it shouldn't slump around that range, aside from that I'm not bothered about any FUD in the market. If we are listening to what prediction experts are saying we might start acting from there predictions because only this year we have seen different predictions and there is non I could actually said they predicted Bitcoin accurately so actually believing in what they're saying is a big mistake from the person investment. No one can predict Bitcoin movement exactly or currently it's only God that knows what will happen next, i don't believe there is something like been an expert when it comes to what will happen in Bitcoin next that it even happen doesn't mean that because certain expert says this before it happens, Bitcoin is an asset that people speculate about so i believe what they are doing is just speculation on what will happen next. Similar to what I mentioned before, the other cause of the dump to the  bottom of this bear market might be the failure of passage of the Clarity act and it certainly appears that there are more people who are beginning to mention this.

According to this expert, bitcoin will dump to $55k if the Clarity act will not get passage. The next voting process on this bill will be on September 15. If there is not vote because of more filibustering, the next vote will be on November or December. After this the bill will expire.



OKX's Haider Rafique said he is increasingly pessimistic that the Clarity Act will clear Congress this year, arguing political realities rather than policy disagreements are the biggest obstacle to the landmark crypto market structure bill.

Rafique, who is the exchange’s global managing partner for Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations, said Democrats have little incentive to hand Republicans a major legislative victory ahead of this year's midterm elections, particularly given criticism surrounding President Donald Trump's ties to the crypto industry.

Rafique also argued that markets have already priced in much of the potential benefit from the legislation.

He said bitcoin's recent rebound was partly driven by renewed optimism around the bill, meaning passage would likely generate only a modest short-term rally of around 3%-4%.

Conversely, failure to pass the legislation could trigger a sharper decline, with Rafique seeing bitcoin potentially falling toward the $55,000 level before attracting significant retail buying interest.

"The market prices news ahead of time," he said. "Most of the appreciation from Clarity is already reflected in current prices."

It appears that different experts have different predictions and speculations on where this market might arrive. There are experts who are declaring that the bottom is in and there are also other experts who have declared that there will be another big dump.

For me, both are true, anyone can speculate and predict, especially regarding Bitcoin price developments and also changes in the crypto market, When one expert says that currently the price of Bitcoin is at its lowest point and another expert says that there will be a further decline from now, we can think that it is just speculation, both of them can be wrong and both can be right.

The point is that everyone has their own understanding and opinion, how they speculate, but now it's up to each of us to judge and respond, Basically Bitcoin is greatly influenced by Supply and Demand, Market Sentiment, adoption, halving, regulations and so on, when this situation is visible, that's when the real speculation and predictions occur.

The only big sell off I could see is not Dollar related but tech related and I guess a threat via Quantum computing making advances some time this year or the next perhaps.   It would have to be a mainstream story hitting an array of holders, liquidation via the ETF holdings of BTC perhaps.
   I imagine before that event happens Bitcoin itself changes protocol as is already talked about but its feasible that the cart overtakes the horse and Quantum is nearer to useful work then recognized at present, some breakthrough could inversely be a threat and sell off in a few places.

  Quantum would be a game changer, but the status quo is weak dollar and recently the dollar seemed to indicate that story does continue so BTC is at present potentially able or will stage a move up in theory.

Well, most likely, BTC won’t drop to $50k if the bulls take the initiative in August and start driving the BTC price up significantly. It clearly shows a sharp downward move in May, followed by consolidation within a relatively narrow range from June through the present. I don’t know about you, but to me, this movement strongly resembles a bearish pennant pattern, and if that’s the case, the target could be below $50k.
