this has been said often here and i still maintain that both sots and sport betting are addictive, addiction depends on the gambler. if the slot gambler or sport bettor is gambling out of control, it will definitely lead to addiction, anyone who does not have self control will keep on chasing after loses or profit till they become addicted. the only different between slot and sport game is that sport will allow you to make prediction, stake and wait for the outcome before staking another one, while in slot you may gamble in each round without getting tired.

Each of us have preference for games, but I believe slots is one of the most addictive gambling games out there.  I won't single out that it is the most addictive game since there are also other gambling games that sometimes outshine slots for being an addictive game.

It is fun to play slots, but if we think deeply about why we are gambling, the entertainment lies in winning, not in engaging in.  On the surface, it looks like the gambler is just looking for entertainment while he is playing slots, but deep inside, the gambler is wishing for the jackpot or high wins.

That's why I stopped playing them; I just don't like how much they affect my mind. While I feel fine with other games and can stop, I can't always do that with slots. I've also noticed that I'm uncomfortable with music and sounds playing in slots. I've even started turning them off to reduce the impact, and I think it helps. But overall, I prefer to play them very rarely and am thinking of giving up slots altogether in the near future so they don't have such a detrimental effect on my bankroll, which is extremely difficult to build and increase.

It could be addictive to some, but to me it's not because of the availability and how it can easily be accessed, but it's because of how the people treat and follow the game. Slots are really addictive games and maximum gamblers enjoy slots because from here they try to win big jackpots. Many people win big from slots. Sports games might not be played consistently like casino games, but I know people who are glued to virtual sports games. I think slot games can be one of the most addictive games ever due to how fast people are seeing the outcome of their bets without waiting for too long before knowing if they are winning or losing. I agree. It's a 24/7 working game, which is why it can be addictive. Compared to sports betting, where if a gambler only knows 1 sport, he won't be able to gamble all day, or even just once every 2 days, because events don't come 24/7. That will be freakishly exhausting for the players.

It's certain that gambling is more addictive, the reason being that it demands very quick actions from the players, there is no time to think, just press a few buttons, wait a few seconds and get the result, the adrenaline is released much faster than when I am betting on a football game, where I need to research the odds, place the bet, wait for the game to happen (90 minutes, at least) and only then get the result of my bet.
I know... you can also bet online on sports games, but even so they do ont compare to slot games... but compared to dice, cards or slot machines, I think it's all the same... it will depend on the player. When I play gambling I put in little money, and if my bankroll runs out I stop playing, I think that's the best way to try to control yourself at this type of betting.
