Yes, it could be one of the most addictive games. Why? There are no rules whatsoever, you just need to put money on the machine and roll that's it. That's why most of us really fell in love with this game although later on if we are mature enough, we know that this is base on pure luck. But that's where the excitement is, you don't know what the outcome will be and so you are willing to take that risk and see if you are going to win or not. I agree with you that slot machines are the most addictive games today. A large portion of the population across all demographics currently gambles on slot machines, and many who are addicted are also experiencing its negative effects this proves that slot machine gambling is more addictive than any other form of gambling.

OP, I don't agree with your stand here. I play slots games, but I do not see any signs of addiction in me to keep playing slots every time, and I have played slots games for years now, and no signs of addiction in me.  I think it's a thing of emotions in play, also when one lets themselves loose to it and does not exercise self-control over their gambling lifestyle, that is when addiction sets in.
Based on my experience with slot games, I have been playing for a long time now, and I have never seen any signs or form of addiction in me before, because I do that with caution, like me being very cautious of my game time, plan, and schedule. Yes, I would agree at some point. Yet, in another day I'd say, Dice is the most addictive, and in another day - it's poker and so on. Slots do make me addicted to gambling, it's simple because it's easy to play and the winnings are very attractive there, there is no game that makes addiction easily than slots, anyone can do it even a child or an old grandfather who is late in understanding technology, slots are designed to be able to enter all genders and all ages but the adrenaline cannot be underestimated it is very good because here it triggers very high emotionality, explodes dopamine, from the many slots that exist it is not impossible to be gambling that makes us addicted.
