I don't have any betting story but I know that so many people have faced this last game spoils ticket pain alot. What I can say or add is that you should always remember that betting is not guaranteed, so I will say that you shouldn't put all hopes on long ticket thinking that it will click or must. Take the loss and move on, there's nothing you or the sportsbook can do about what the outcome has brought in. I have other bets that are easy to hit because having a 10 game accumulator or a parlay is really a blue moon scenario and just 1 mistake will definitely cost that whole ticket. Regrets will follow like you should have stayed through 9 but an outcome is an outcome and you have to deal with it, that's so common to sports betting.

If somehow you're unsure the bet wouldn't hit and a possible cash out is open, I think it's best to hedge ASAP, it's a gamble considerimg you could win a lot more but I think it's better than having nothing at all.

This is the essence of having the cash out option when we are gambling and see that we may not wait any longer to the end of the game because of some uncertain things that might have occurred along the line, with occurrencies like this, we are going to value cashing out before the end of the game when the opportunity comes and see it as a great privilege for us instead of losing the entire ticket to games we've played.

When I'm not very sure of the team and it is the last game, I don't waste any time to cash out the game but when I have confidence in the team, I wait for the game to be entering up until around 80 mins before cashing out, the deficit would be little but it is better for me to loose that little rather than loose everything if things go wrong. I have stopped waiting for FT for the last game, most times it ends up disappointing.

I don't really have any of such most recent stories, but I did have many of same experiences in the past and honestly it's a pain full experience because you literally saw the cash out button but decided to stay till the end of the games only for one to ruin everything. There isn't actually a way to help prevent this, aside from you making the choice to take what you have an make a run for it. Like they always say, half bread is better than none. Though most people just prefer waiting till the full game is complete, but the risk would be too high and if you aren't careful you might end up losing it all..

If your parlay has 10 legs and 9 are already won, there's indeed a strong reason not to risk waiting for the result of the 10^th. A nice profit must have been made already.

But this isn't absolute. Perhaps you need to take into consideration the last and final bet. Are you that confident in it or not? If you are, taking the risk is worth it. If you're doubting it, then cash-out is there as an option. Just make sure it's still there the moment you're deciding. It's not available all the time.

But then there are also bettors who don't consider cash-out as an option.

I do not have any story in this regard to share and this is because I do not know which one to share and which one to leave, but then, I learnt a great deal of lessons from all of this experiences, today, if I am betting on a parley with several games like this, it will be plain stupidity to allow the games in the ticket run all through because the chances one or more games are going of flop is always high..

This is why some gamblers always go for cashout offers than having to wait for all matches in a ticket to all he played. Personally myself, anytime I place bets using parley with multiple games, what I am always targeting is a good cashout offer, not the actual potential winning cus I know this one is hard to catch, but on the ticket with several legs, if the almost all played in your favor and while there is still one or two games left to be played before it's all over, the casino must have offered a good cashout offer at this moment, I will gladly accept it.

Using small amounts to place parlay bets has been my strategy for some time now. I also cash out when I have the urge to make such a decision. But I ensure that the cashout is a reasonable amount.  

Most gamblers are not in profit like you. It takes the application of sound strategies and discipline to avoid long-term losses in gambling.

As long as you've placed a bet, you've decided right from the onset that whatever comes at the end of the bet that you're going to accept it that way. The only thing you can do that alters your game is to cash out but when it comes to a time when the only thing that's keeping your game is a single game, it's always deficult to cash out knowing that it's very possible that the game will play. At the end, the decision is still left for you to make and while you do that you should be ready to face the consequences that comes with your decision.

Yeah, I know how it feels, I only had like 4 multi leg in NBA couple of months ago and just waiting for this game. So I'm very anxious and very superstitious not to watch the game and just see the results. But I don't know what's getting into me, so I watch the game in the last 4 minutes and my bet had a big chance to win, unfortunately it's not over till the fat lady sings and then there was one stretch wherein the team that I have beat can't buy a basket.

I experienced this a lot of time when I’m betting aggressively just to boost my parlay odds. I stop this aggressiveness when I already notice that I’m losing a lot while I should earn a lot if I don’t pursue more leg on my parlay.

Right now, I’m focusing only to a single bet or a 2 leg parlay and just increase my bet size so that my profit is still good even if the odds is not high compared to the parlay.

Prioritizing on quality of bet by limiting the parlay leg is a must and just increase it slowly if your winning percentage is already high on that specific leg count.

The  odds will  change if you break the bet into multiple bets but r Instead of losing all then it will be the only part of the bet that you're  losing but it pays , if that part of the bet is not more than 2 picks then you will only lose the odds it gives you and  the money you placed on the particular bet  while securing the remaining  bet odds and money although reduced compared to when combined alltogether.

That's  the only solution imo , you can't predict exactly which one will fail and that's why you have the odds added in the first place. So it is much better you just split it  when you have so much long list, it's not easy anyway  .

Gambling will always have the risk, they won't   make winning money so easy  .
