No, gambling is not the deadliest form of addiction; drugs addiction are… it goes straight to affecting both your brain and organs for example (Heroin).
Drug addiction is arguably more dangerous because it harms our health. However, that may not necessarily be the most dangerous thing. In my opinion, the most dangerou addiction is when you become addicted to something that make you lose control and ruin your life without you even realizing it. It not only ruins your health but also devastates your entire life and affect many people around you. That would be much scarier Drug addiction, gambling or trading...anything that make you lose yourself and pushe your own life and your family's life to the brink of collapse is one of the most dangerous addiction. They are different addictions but with similar consequences: drug addiction destroys your life and your health, whilst gambling addiction destroys your life and your social relationships. For example, many gamblers tend to borrow or take money from friends and relatives and then rarely pay it back; the truth eventually comes out within the family when it is already too late, and relationships start to break down.

I do not think gambling addiction is the deadliest, it is just a game-related fun that gradually develops when one plays too much of it, thinking they could get something tangible from the games they play often, and that is where the addiction sets in, while in the chase to get what they desire from the system they end up becoming addicted to it but this can not be compared to drug addiction as that is the deadliest that kills slowly. Drugs deal with health and substance abuse, while gambling is just fun, but drug abuse seems riskier than gambling, as it has to do with life-endangering encounters, which could cost someone who is addicted their life in most cases.

Poverty has led people to reckless gambling, which has made them addicted. When people see gambling as a means of survival, they would gamble more than they should, which would lead to addiction.
All forms of addiction are dangerous. A gambling disorder could also affect the health of sufferers. Those who borrow to gamble might suffer from depression, fear, anxiety, insomnia, and other illnesses. I spoke to a gambler who told me how he couldn't sleep well for many months because he lost his school fees in sports betting.

A significant cause of gambling addiction is the inability to control emotions. When I first started gambling, my intention was to test my luck. Gradually gambling became addictive for me because I kept losing. The desire to get my money back tempted me to gamble more. Although it was not easy, I realized that I was not lucky enough to gamble.
There are many causes of gambling addiction, one of which is not keeping the excitement under control. You can get any result in gambling but avoid spending beyond the allocated funds. Avoid gambling with the intention of making money because this is one of the causes of gambling addiction. Above all gambling can be addictive for you if you spend excessive time, allocate a specific amount of money for gambling and avoid exceeding the limit.

Personally, my own stance here is that it can be addictive due to different factors. Dopamine rush, the uncertainty of not knowing when the next win, chasing losses, compulsive gambling, and lastly because of its easy access and technology. And by seeing the increasing rate of suicidal with gambling, therefore I can say that its the most harmful and deadliest addiction in the world...
If you break it down, it’s mostly dopamine and the reward mechanics behind gambling. And the key part isn’t even winning - it’s the fact that outcomes are unpredictable.. From a scientific point of view, this is one of the strongest mechanisms for forming habits - or more accurately, addiction - even stronger than regular, predictable rewards. Second, there’s the illusion of control. And of course, accessibility is a huge factor now. Back in the day, you had to physically go to a casino and spend time getting there. Now it’s all in your pocket 24/7. On top of that, constant marketing, bonuses, and notifications keep pulling you back in and don’t really give you a chance to cool off or switch your focus. In the end, I see the main issue with gambling as a mix of psychology, accessibility, and all these built-in illusions that create a sense of control where, in reality, there isn’t any.

Games are addictive on their own, made up of achievements you can’t really use in real life apart from gaining fame as a content creator which is even a modern age thing .. some do have real life rewards like the tournaments and co but it’s just like gambling[not really though] as you have to buy stuffs , register, compete with others and hope you come out among the best.
Gambling itself added a sure reward system so far you win any of their games rounds and whatever rules attached and so far, their rules aren’t as tough even though it might depend on the category you choose.. this alone contribute to more addictions fmv.

Emotion control is definitely a big factor but I think another thing is equally important, which is not being able to accept loss, Many people don’t want to admit defeat, so they think they can recover by playing again and this is where the real problem starts. Gambling then becomes not an excitement, but a pressure where instead of enjoying it, people just want to withdraw the money they lost, So in my opinion, setting limits is good but more important than that is keeping the mindset right being able to accept loss and come out of it is the real control.

The two reasons why gambling is addictive is because of greed and lack of control, if you are a greedy person that wants to make millions of dollars through gambling you will surely get addicted to gambling because you will be gambling more often to make sure you achieve your dream that usually don’t come to pass. Another reason why people usually become addicted to gambling is because they don’t have self control. They usually gamble without having a time to stop, if you are gambling this way, you will surely become an addicted to gambling, and it will be very difficult for you to get out of it. If you can be gambling just for fun, believe me, you will not be addicted to gambling because if you are gambling for fun, you won’t be greedy and you won’t also gamble without self control.

I have seen most of our posts here talk about how to gamble responsibly, how to beat gambling addiction, or how to help people those who are battling addiction.
Yes, we all know gambling can be so addictive and it could be the worst addiction in the world. But why is gambling can be so addictive in the first place? What makes its the world's deadliest addiction?

What makes it addictive? - You can make easy money with it - You can be rich with it - You've been that experiencing roller coaster ride of emotion in terms of winning and losing results - You've been hooked up with the game itself. Not everything be talking about making money but there are people who are really that enjoying on playing games whether it would be casino based or they would go for sports betting or any strategic game, but as we do all know that what makes it addictive is that you do know that you can make easy money with it and this what drags people to play even more. The most common issue is that on the moment that you do keep on doing it then you would definitely be that looking for it and deal up with it without even thinking that there are other priorities. Addiction isnt only applicable on gambling but also in other known things as well on which you do keep on repeating on the same actions and whats worst is that in every engagement then it would always accompanied losing money knowing that gamblers will be always losers in the end.

Gambling isn't the worst addiction in the world, it's a popular thing among addicts but been the worst? Have you seen people who are addicted to drugs? You can't even get close to them because they are like mad people who have lost their senses of humanity, they do things without even realising what they are doing, the drugs take total control of their looks and appearance, this is pretty bad compared to gambling addiction. Drugs addicts can't be sane unless they take those drugs, to feel ok it's a must, it turns them into animals, but with gambling it's either you completely go broke or you are in big debt, between the two who do you think needs more correction centres than the others? Drug addicts, they need to be locked up and defeat the hunger for drugs in them, it's not a good sight to experience.

Gambling is actually very addictive, the reason is because most people see gambling as a way of making huge amount of money even with your small stake. Sometimes we see, and hear about people who were lucky enough, and made good amount of money, we feel so enticed as to win big too. Gambling is something very difficult to quit even when it is getting you devastated. Just imagine a gambler expecting $20000 just with a stake of $100 , this expectation is really very huge , and such luck is very rare. But some gamblers can chase this big throughout lifetime and may not get it. Companionship can equally make you addicted. When you mingle with chronic gamblers, you will definitely tow in that line too.
