For the purpose of new members, i would like to say that do not post excessively to gain merit because posting too much in a day will reduce the quality of your post. You should always post informatively and use polite words in expressing your opinions. By exchanging opinions in such crypto forums you will gain enough experience and knowledge about crypto. So, do not chase after merit and increase your experience because there are enough opportunities and strategies to earn money from crypto.

An advice from someone with this kind of merit history

Posting excessively and not earning merits can only mean two things, you either are posting on the wrong boards or just making replies that passes no knowledge at all..

Your words are truly important and educational for new members like me. I used to think that posting more would help me gain recognition quickly, but now I understand that quality is what really matters. Sharing informative content and expressing opinions politely is the most valuable thing here. I will try to learn gradually and improve my knowledge and experience step by step. Thank you for providing such wonderful guidance.

Depending on how you see the forum, posting good quality post frequently simply shows how active you are on the forum and I believe thats what the forum was created for not just for your account to be dormant.
However posting randomly just to earn merit is not encouraged and you could even be tagged as a spammer. once you are a good poster, your post will speak for it self by earning merit on it own without stress.
Just do your  thing and engage good thread that enlighten you more.

When a manager brings up a signature campaign then you are giving a lot of merit!

Tell me, is there any logic to this? How can a signature campaign be an informative or helpful post?

Also, search every local board that only gives merit through posts and replies. Honestly, I don't see any kind of helpful posts there!

If you want proof then it can be provided.

Okay, shots fired! It's clear that the Op wants to educate us and it was unnecessary to bring up his post history @Hatchy. It would have been best to just either ignore or say something helpful because tbh I didn't see anything wrong in what he said as it's exactly what happens to newbies who feel that making zillion posts(80% mostly spam and repetitive nonsense) is what increases their relevance, which is not true. The term "less is more" should be tried by them too cause when you post less but very informative, the merits come since you've been able to educate people and that's the essence of this place, not just some social space that needs tons of worthless junk to create traffic.

You have a very old account with all merit is from airdropped, and I don't think you are good at teaching how to post for earning merit. It's simple as your account did not earn any merit from posting.

Your account woke up many times and mostly posting in gambling discussion.

From this Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn, it can be expanded to "don't teach about how to post for getting merit if your account did not receive any merit"

This is a very good information for many newbies because many of them post too much to make people know that they are here to earn merit, merit is not something you should be looking for in hurry, when you have experience in the forum and you are able to share your opinions with others with a very clear understanding you will definitely have a merit, merit is not about too much post and it is not about having connections, your opinions and your knowledge are those that will earn you merit and that is what some newbies should have in their minds before joining the forum.

I have come across some newbies that said he finds it difficult to receive a merit the way the post even when he makes a good post and since then i started believe that some newbies don’t understand forum and they think having merit is just for fun, it is not a bad thing for anyone to earn a merit but patience is very important, if you are not someone who is patient enough you will always feel disappointed and you will not want to post again.
