Na to do good sensitization and better orientation for the youth them e go help them understand say na them fit change the situation for the country. I know say na the youth bad character wey make the wicked politicians think say we lazy but if we fit show them say we no fit be like them by not stealing like them when we get into power from there we fit bring changes. I dey encourage young people make them no just dey cry from afar make them together come join politics but make them try to dey different if we must bring changes in our country.
From what i have observed going on with becoming a politician, we hardly see those who don't want to do the same as majority reach high places, playing by the book always won't secure anyone a good political position, one of the ways to attain such position is Godfatherism, by agreeing to do so, power doesn't completely belongs, in order to reach high places, it's a must to remain humble to whoever put you in that position, politics is about the game, not fairness.

What's the chance of Peter Obi winning the upcoming presidential election, i don't see him as a good competition if he is not ready to play the game like the other, Tinubu is a dirty player, you need to be like him to beat him at his game.

I get your point but I don’t think someone must play dirty to win because if every new person coming in feels they must play by those same rules, then nothing will really change, we will just be under the same leadership under different names. We all know politics is strategic, you need support, structure and strong alliances but that is different from compromising values completely. Let’s forget about this Peter obi or any other candidate but the truth is are Nigerians ready for something different because even the best candidate will still struggle in a system where the old way is still being rewarded. So it’s not just about the politicians, it’s about us as the voters, the system itself and what people are willing to accept.

Even if we decide to make a change now, the question is that, will all the youth be involved? Because some of this youth are also in support of what is going on in our country today. There are some youths who has the boldness to come out and fight for the change of the country and there are also some youth who are afraid of coming out because of the outcome. Because, one thing I discovered from Nigerians is that we are two sided and unstable with our decisions. So, if we must make any change now, we the youth, must support each other when problem arises, we have to stop taking bribe, we have to stop defending this leaders and we have to start involving ourselves in politics.

If change must come now, we must feast our mind to achieve one goal, we must set a good structure and also make some background investigation on what some of this past leaders was doing that was not favourable to the citizens. And another thing is that, we should make sure that people that must be on that sit must be God fearing and must be well educated when it comes to leadership. In that way their will be a new change.

All of us don see wetin dey happen for we country despite say we dey form strong say we can survive because of the way most of us dey work hard but how long we think say we go continue to dey like dis and how long we think say we fit relax make the old men bring change wey we dey find?

Now make I tell us exactly wetin bring about this topic: Election dey come up next year the current president don already dey do everything possible to make sure say him buy all the governors and as him buy them the governors go also buy the local government chairmen for him state and the local chairmen go buy all the counselors as well as the youth leaders, the traditional rulers and chiefs.

If una observe well na this people dey actually determine who go win in every election because when Dem don mobilize all of them the next thing na to give them different ugly roles to play to ensure that they work with the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) and to deliver their candidates.

For youths wey need positive changes in the country, wetin you don do so far to make sure say we end this bad government wey only prioritize in borrowing of loans without doing anything useful with the loans.

a) Make the youths join politics
b) Make all the youths get their voters card
c) Make youths create a different political party
d) Make the youths ready to fight election riggers

a)Make the youths join politics: For the youths wey dey find changes, we can only change the nation when we come out come do things the right way so if we continue to fold our arms we no go fit change the ugly situation of our country Nigeria.

b) Make all the youths get their voters card: I understand say most times our votes no dey count but if we need changes make all of us wey don dey eligible to vote go get our voters card with it we fit come out in mass vote one good person wey go represent us well, if we say we no go vote them go continue to do massive selection and we go only complain and nothing go come out.

c) Make youths create a different political party: For some of us wey dey inclined politically we go understand say political godfathers na one of the things wey dey make us no dey move forward as a country. you go see person wey don leave office for many years but still dey control the people wey dey office and the resources of the state because na him put the people wey dey for office. If we get youths wey no get any good father if them win election them go work for the betterment of the people nobody go dey collect percentage from the allocation wey dey enter the state or local government na the man reason why we need another political party for youths only.

e) Make the youths ready to fight election riggers: Naija election no dey ever happen without rigging the last presidential election na one example wey don supposed teach us a big lesson now say INEC chairmen for naija dey work to deliver him Oga because na him employ am but if we must stop the nonsense wey happen before from happening again then dis time around make nobody run go house after voting, make we make sure say we protect and monitor our votes and ensure dey do not switch the original results to give to their own favourite candidates until we do so our votes no fit count.

I understand say other things dey wey we fit use make a difference in the up coming election you fit still add your own at least e go educate us more because we no fit dey hustle hard make we still dey suffer because of bad government.

No be just about the youths joining politics, infact plenty youths dey politics yet no substantial change, participating in politics no bad but make the youths change their mindset, politics no be to dey park money up and down but an opportunity to serve the people, an average Nigerian see politics as a money making venture but e no suppose to be so.

Another thing na make people no because of peanut wey this politicians go share during election go dey make people vote wrong candidates, make everybody get for mind say any wrong candidate wey them vote go invariably go affect them one way or the other, i no know no follow, so make everybody come out, get their PVC and vote out this bad leaders.

Make all the youths get voters card : Voters card dey necessary no be to shout change change if we no go out in mass go register for our voters card then on the election day we come out in mass come vote we know go fit see any positive change. The problem wey dey among us wey be youth now be say we go plan something finish when e reach election time our wicked politicians go use peanuts deceive the youths wey supposed stand up against rigging and oppression naija really need good people in power not people that will be after whet they will grab for themselves and that of their families if we most make a change then we have to start getting our voters card because with it we can vote out the wicked politicians.

Another important thing wey the youths needs to stop is selling their votes for money na this one dey really make politicians see us finish imagine say them go start to do fake empowerments and fake projects just to gather youths that will sell their votes for them and after that they will likely try to recover all they spent and more before they can do anything for us but if we say no to their fake promises and vote buying the right candidates will be elected and things will begin to be better.

Make all the youth say no to rigging, no to vote selling and buying, no to fake empowerments etc, if we can stand our ground this time there will be good changes in our nation.

That's one of the major factors that is hindering the changes in election and it doesn't yield any positive changes even though it will be rigged, the youths keeps selling their votes for peanuts once a politician throws 5,000 naira at each of them they automatically forget all the Long  suffering they have made them experienced, I believe if the Youths stand up and say no to their faces there will be changes and some of the Youths don't even come out to exercise their franchise, if they seat at home and don't come out to vote how will the change come?.

We must do the right things to get the needed results and getting a voters card and coming out to vote is the first step to it, avoid to be used by politicians during elections is still another part of it. Let us also say no to their two cups of rice that they keep sharing during elections, this will help us for the changes we need.

I like the fact that you are able to bring out some of this lofty idea as to how youths can join political parties and mobilized to win election, but one thing you must understand is the fact that Nigeria is highly divided into religious lines and ethnic lines, is not until we put aside those peculiar differences, whatever alignment you want to have will certainly not see the light of the day. Check between 2015 election and 2023 election, you will see that the North and the south literally voted different candidates. whenever it comes to election, the two side don't agree on a single candidate that they will all support together. So unless and until we put aside what divides us unity will be far fetched.

You are right because even the so called INEC is no longer independent whereas they are supposed to be one of the most independent government parastatals in Nigeria. From the name, INEC is called independent but when you watch how this government office operates and it's structured you will join those who debate INEC's real independence in practice. The two aspects I will take is the appointment and the funding. The leadership of INEC is appointed through a process which involves the executive arm of the government which makes many citizens feel it can create influence or pressure even if its indirectly which has already defeated the aim of its autonomy. Since INEC's budget is also provided by the politicians occupying those public offices, it makes it very difficult for them to retain their independence as much as they would wish to do so.

As you Dey talk like this na e some of us go rush go vote that old man again and suffer for another four years, if ba this Nigeria my broda we still get many things to see because Tinubu most for another four years, the reason why i talk am be say if you see how the country Dey take go now and waiting APC don plan for ground you go know say the coming election go tough and many things go happen and na that time we go know say Nigeria worse pass waiting dey dey think.

As this country Dey now na only god hand we Dey because and na the same God go make our eyes clear when the election start because immediately after Dey start to Dey share rice and money for our mothers and fathers now they will fall for their trap and vote for them, we don talk this kind thing for years now and na who go win go win because even before we vote them don already decide who go Dey the chair.

In as much as some persons are suffering, there are still people who are very benefiting from this government and they don't mind voting Tinubu for third tenure if it was possible so doesn't mean anything to them. What baffles me is the way he was praised during his campaigns and people said he made Lagos state what it is today and I asked if he had so much idea and made Lagos state great what now happens to those ideas that he couldn't use it to make the country great as he has become the president.

The truth is that if Nigerians wants to kick out Tinubu by next election they will but we are scared not to make that first step and it starts by voting in the right people that we believe we bring the change, you know in Nigeria before an election takes place we have already knew who will become the president due to the rigging that will be carried out.

Honestly, In other to bring changes to our nation, we need to educate some of our youth because there are a lot of people wey no dey current with wetin dey happen for country. though some of them are not illiterate either, for example, you go hear some people go de talk say "Even if dey win dis election we no go get benefit and even to see them again, so I will only vote for the candidates that offer more money", and that show level of foolishness and lose of hope that full mind of some people in our mixed. We shouldn't lose hope and keep in our minds that we can bring changes to this country.

Now I know in this country we too respect our elders and they only know themselves, we must collaborate and stop the issue of this God father's. If we carefully look in to this matter, na dem be di problem of this country, and most of our judges almost corrupt in that way, for that reason justice is also not well followed.

Nigeria is a blessed country and our only problem has always been our political and leadership system. Politics in Nigeria is more of a business than what it’s meant to be, where people invest money in campaigns and elections, just to make sure they win the elections and when they assume office, start looting as much as they can to recover the money they invested and also make some more profit before they leave office.

Nigeria has been noted to be a blessed country even after but corruption has close the eyes of the leaders in the country… your can imagine what had at the last election and the moment was even not okay at all just see how they by pass their ways through money and we are all suffering in this same country where even the president is running from one country to another just not to sit in the country to solve the country problems..honestly money has really caused a lot in this country and has killed the economy..

Just as you have said Nigeria is a blessed country already and why do we have to keep taking loan up and down for what? That my point they are different type of thing that this country have and are still taking loans which is not right..

Yes political and non transparent leadership system is the major problem before we talk about other problems that are seriously contributing to the downfall of Nigeria now. As for that of the political challenges we are talking about,  all systems including the electoral department have been corrupted to an extent electoral decisions are made according how they want and not who the citizens have voted for. To change this now in Nigeria citizens must choose what they want and not wait on the leaders to decide for us anymore.

Yes and truly if we must make any changes in this country, the time is now but I also want us to know that change doesn’t just happen overnight neither does it come from just saying it, it comes with consistent action by holding all this politicians accountable and not normalizing bad governance or stay silent when things are wrong. Real change takes a lot of time and it also involves being patient and having a good structure. So if we really want this change, we don’t have to stay disconnected or give up by saying it won’t work, we have to stay in unity and believe in our country Nigeria that if we all do our parts then we are going to see the change we all wish for.

In my opinion, the youth and the so called elders get the same bad character. Young people dey enter politics for Naija but na still tiff them dey tiff. Right from SUG to NANS, LGA to house of reps; the corruption run deep. No be say good hardworking patriotic youths no dey but the bad eggs too many.

You dey correct. One of issues be say Nigeria na very materialistic society, na why the youths no fit enter politics because where them won see money take see money to play the politics? We really need change for this country-no be APC kind of change o lol.

This is true and when the Youths mostimes plays politics for is to become Media aides and we don't stand firm to demand for our rights in politics, from my little understanding in politics it shows that they don't gift power you have to fight and struggle for it before you get it and the Youths are not ready to fight for it. I don't actually blame us the Youths because we lack empowerment, what resources will a Youth stand on as source of funds for mobilization and campaigns and that has been a set back for the Youths.

There is no amount of sensitization that will be done to unturned the mentality that the Youths have, once this politicians places them on a little stipends for data and small logistics they feel okay and don't make any move to go further but remain stagnant. No one should be decieved to believe that if a Youth rules today he won't embezzle funds like the set of politicians we have today, change starts with a revolution and that's what we need now.

This election wey dey come up for 2027 no go easy at all and the government don dey already plan am down in all ways to make sure say they rig the election so BAT for continue with him agenda to tax all Nigerians when him never do anything tangible for the country wey don make everything to become worse. If BAT come back as president again, he no go easy at all for all Nigerians wey get money and the ones wey no get money.
Do you know the main problem we’re facing in this country? During the election time when our peoples that are complaining everyday that they didn’t see any changes throughout this government regime, which they where expected to come out and votes for their or a better candidate that will help the country to be better; but those complaining will never come out to cast a vote their and their expecting the country to get better how is going to work without casting a vote for a good candidate.

Ever since this president was elected the country has never moving forward in the past 3 years only backwards every bless day, honestly we really need to fight for our country for the things to get better for us. Because if we over look what is happening now and still allow this president to go for the second term things will be more than this, which can lead to stage that poor people’s can not afford to buy anything else for themselves.

This year never go too far and still yet many things still de go wrong, economy, security, power supply, education, you name it. The question is who go make am change? Government alone or na all of us, citizens, private sectors, civil society?
State governments needs to innovate, youths need to build businesss and hold leaders accountable and even we has individuals must change our mindset from consumption to production.
The time is now because 2027  no far and if we no change now, another cycle of complain go continue to de repeat itself.

How do we change things in this country when some people are pretending to be neutral in face of the trouble in the country, those that ought to voice in for change are all in a political party that's destroying the country. We're in a terrible situation in Nigeria today, the Young people are being controlled by money, they can't even hold the government accountable because they are all involved indirectly.

This 2027 will not change Nigeria because same old people are the ones contesting we haven't seen any fresh brain to pilot this country to the next level. The change we desire is still very far from us,  until will all ignore the juicy positions and funds and focus revolution to take over the country to what we want.

Bad eggs too many, no be lie you talk. Na why many at times well-known Nigerians try to fix the country, there is this force that fights against them all the time, if not from the youths, em go from the military that the government go use to scatter and intimidate the well known Nigerians wey wan the betterment of the country.

You see as our country be so, it's far from being saved by a messiah or group of messiahs coming together to fix the country without facing obstacles on the way from corrupt politicians that don't want good governance that will block the way they are eating from this country
