I just bought 7 of these, seems like a decent price for new hardware. (At least, on the site it SAYS they are new, but I'll find out when they arrive...)

Actually no, and I'm kind of pissed. They probably wait for them to sell out completely before shipping. Also, they are shipping to me in 7 separate boxes (fail) instead of one big one. I do have tracking numbers, but UPS hasn't picked them up yet.

I'm not paying electricity, but even if I was, payback would be 200 days at current difficulty and price. Free electricity is making it look closer to 150 days, which is a win in my book.

Yeah, free electricity FTW...  I'm on PG&E's CARE program... So that helps out.

I was about to pull the trigger on a couple of these, but between the HD 7XXX series and the new wave of FPGAs coming out, I decided to pass.  Still an awesome deal though.

7970 won't likely be much greater than a 6990/5970 and those damn Butterfly Labs FPGAs are too 'spensive!

Makes me a tad bit nervous as I haven't purchased from this store before... and its not exactly a small order.

As far as I can gather, they just suck, but you should get your stuff eventually. I guess I shall find out. Gives me a few more days to find and install a motherboard tray in my open miner, but hell I want my cards!!  Grin

Yeah they drag ass when it comes to shipping.  See my reference to this the original thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55188.msg659549#msg659549

However, from what my co-worker tells me, they do eventually ship.

for people who have never dealt with shipping ecommerce. This is kinda a normal practice depending on the level of products that are shipped out. DHL seems to be the one that will give you a better deal, but arange a weekly or biweekly pickup. UPS, Fedex and USPS tend to not discount as much, but will pickup daily.

DHL discontinued domestic US service a few years ago, sadly.  It's too bad, they were 10x better than UPS and FedEx.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

I have offered to sell ONE AMD OEM 5870 to cablepair. Card has six mini display port on one slot, and an entire unblocked exhaust slot. This is CARD ONLY, no accessories. Card's condition is practically new.
The agreement is that cablepair would pay me $160 + $10.50 shipping for it once he has received the item. Payment can be in USD or BTC equivalent. If paying BTC, it will be based on MtGox's exchange rate at time of payment.
OP, please confirm your purchase by posting here, so everyone will know you agree to the terms.
Will try ship your card out Friday or Saturday.
