I'm really proud of Omni for hosting assets worth more than any other ecosystem except Ethereum. Half a billion dollars worth! Omni is still, and will always be my baby!

I firmly believe UpToken will benefit Omni directly, otherwise I wouldn't be involved with it. I started a thread about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2199751.0

I see you have been online and ignored the question, so I guess the answer is NO.

In that case, why did you reopen the old moderated thread just to post this irrelevant information that has nothing to do with OMNI ?  Roll Eyes

Sorry - I'm doing a lot of stuff at once right now Smiley

My friends at Coinme insisted on an ERC-20 token, but I believe UpToken will be of great benefit to Omni. That's why I'm involved - I want to see "An Omni ATM on every corner"

Has MasterCoin died? I still have my mastercoin wallet and was looking to see what funds I have in it, but none of the links in the OP work. Did it have a name change to omni or is this a completely new coin?

Yeah Mastercoin has been rebranded Omni a few years ago.

Ok, is there any way of transferring the funds? I don't even know if I have anything in the wallet, but I have a saved walet.dat file on my hard drive. Thanks Smiley.

You should probobally try https://github.com/OmniLayer/omnicore. I'll leave further info to active members of the Omni team, I'm not really updated on how things are done these days.

I would suggest you just import the private key into omniwallet.org

I'd suggest after reclaiming your coin, to shift it into something that isn't someone's personal ego project.

I guess that would leave out Ethereum, but there are other projects more worthy than this disaster.

Mastercoin data was published in many forums, so in the early days, it had more exposure than bitcoin, until now it was a good coin.

What sort of fee does carry an USD Tether transaction, ie from wallet to wallet?
Is it denominated in Bitcoin (Bitcoin is the base layer), Omni (protocol layer) or USDT itself?

After Bittrex announced to delist most Omni assets - MaidSafe, Safe Exchange Coin, IDNI Agoras, I am uncertain whether Bittrex has a technical necessity to keep the Omni in place.
If USDT operations require Omni as fee, then a delisting is very unlikely. However, if the asset is detached from the token, a delisting is not excluded.
Maybe the OGs have sentimental attachment for Omni, however the low liquidity and limited availability on exchanges - only Poloniex and Bittrex, makes the potential delisting a very sensitive subject. New comers for sure don't even know what's Omni...

Opinions?

Moving it requires BTC: https://github.com/OmniLayer/omniwallet/wiki/Omni-Protocol-Cost
