If push through, this fight will be the biggest on their respective careers in my opinion. Money-wise, this is expected to generate more than they get on their previous fights as this will be stream by Netflix. I think Ryan Garcia choose Conor Benn over Shakur Stevenson because King Ry knows that he has the advantage on speed so he just need to capitalize this advantage to hurt Conor Benn in the early rounds as i think if this fight goes the distance, Benn will win. Conor is a tough nut to crack and he hasn't been stop in his career yet and this is his natural weight as he has been fighting at this division a few years now.

Better choice of opponent indeed as Conor Benn is more than willing to slug it out with Ryan Garcia. Even with the rematch with Devin Haney i think it will also be a boring fight since Haney will try to avoid Ryan's punches as much as possible by clinching or by running. Even with the rematch with Devin Haney i think it will also be a boring fight since Haney will try to avoid Ryan's punches as much as possible by clinching or by running. Also the trash talking too might be interesting to see and hear what Conor Benn will have to say against Ryan. And he is coming from a background of boxing like his father, so boxing runs on his blood.

So I think this is a good test for Ryan, specially that Conor has been in a lot of wars so the experience is there. But as fans, we still wanted to see a rematch between him and Devin Haney. I don't think that Haney fight will be boring, specially if the fight is going to be at 147 lbs as Devin can fully rehydrate.

I would go for Ryan Garcia here, his last win made him a champion and I do not think he would take this lightly, he was once dethroned and I do not think he will go back without a belt anymore.

Although Conor Benn looks scary in the picture because of his tattoo, we know that Conor Benn is not really a KO artist with only 14 KOs from 25 wins, so here I am confident that Ryan will either win by KO or via unanimous decision.

I also reckon that this will be very good for King Ry because uncle Dana's lawyers can protect King Ry from much of the cases on taking steroids. Ryan has a say now on who he will fight because he is already a champion, and people watch fights to enjoy, they do not want to see a boring fight and we know Haney is a boring fighter. He only won because he complained and used the legal way to strip Ryan of his belt and void the fight that he lost.

It's going to be a public break up if Ryan Garcia doesn't want to work with Oscar and his Golden Boy. And perhaps Oscar and other promoters are being threatened by Dana and Zuffa. And it will make boxing more controversial but the downside is that we won't see fights that we wanted to see as promoters doesn't want to work with each other plus the broadcasting rights too.

But let us see, I haven't check if this could be the last fight of Ryan under GBP and most likely if it is then I don't think that he is willing to go and extend his contract as there could be better choices for him in terms of money.

While Conor Benn is fresh from his not so good performance against Regis Prograis but that win was enough for him to get the chance to slug it out with King Ry. If the odds offer great value for Benn, then I think it's worth the risk. Because I can see this fight 50/50 as well, from some angles I can see If Ryan fails to control the tempo and get pressured.
Although Ryan has the speed and height advantage, it is expected that he will fight where he's comfortable, keeping the distance, using his speed to create space to launch a good counter and deadly left hooks. Yeah, this fight is hard to predict considering that Ryan Garcia is very unpredictable and we never knew what version of Ryan Garcia will climb in the ring against Conor Benn but the good thing is that he is the champion and will defend the belt so i think he will be doing good at training camp. Ryan's advantage over Benn is his lighting speed left hook which could end the fight abruptly if perfectly time and besides Ryan has a greater knockout ratio over Benn so i think bookies will place him as the favorite in this fight.
