Benn's durability still questionable after he was doing extreme cutting weight. Honestly, he only reminds me with Eubank. Eubank didn't look drained before the night of fight, but he's getting drained so hard during the fight. This gives me more comfy to bet on Ryan.

Ryan will take this easy win against drained Benn.

Just to add on this one, he also said in one of the interviews that this fight will be the final fight of him on 147 which just shows that he's struggling on that division, and he's more accustomed to fight at higher weight division like the 160 where he fought Eubanks Jr. twice.

Going down from 160 to 147 is hard especially if you're not used to do it, and like many here, I also saw that picture, and he really looks like drained on that picture. Well, this is the reason why even at first they're already picking Garcia as the clear winner on this fight. He's fighting like the old one that we used to see in the past before losing to Tank Davis. Well I guess that "blood bond" really affects him because his father is his trainer as well. You're open to your opinion, and if you want to pick Benn then that's fine. It's just that majority are picking Garcia for so many reasons. Experience, weight division, playstyle, skill set, and many more.

Yup, that photos or videos circulating online on Conor Benn gives some concerns on some fans of him as he looked very drained. I just hope that this issue will not be an alibi if he will lose to Ryan Garcia and most of all, this weight cutting issue will not affect his performance so that this fight will be explosive as what we expected.

I agree with you that Conor's fighting style is a bit better than King Ry but what i like about the latter is that his quickness is one of the best in this era. If Conor is not in his best shape this weekend then expect him to face the canvass as those body shots of King Ry will be wicked.

It's 50/50 for me. Conor is coming off an impressive victory against Prograis and Eubank Jr. These two fighters are considered top-level fighters.

I saw it, and i also aware his hollowed eyes. It's a sign if he's drained. So i think he has small chance to coping with Garcia's speed and intensity with such condition. It's gonna be a tough game for him in his powerless version.

It seems we have the same thought here.  Garcia is likely to knock out him in less than 6 rounds because he's a bum now.

The cutting weight is the whole point why he will lose this game. He looks awful overall.

He could rehydrate after the weight in, not sure if there is a rehydration clause. But if he has a professional team behind him that help Conor lost that extra pounds carefully and then get back 24 hours before the fight, then it could be a non issue after all.

^^ I think though that having those dates reserves for you might also have the responsibility of not only the best Mexican boxers, but the charisma that comes with it. And fo me, David doesn't have that charisma of dela Hoya, or Canelo.

So Ryan could be the closest with that kind of attractiveness and influence and could inspire young Mexican boxers. The problem with Garcia though is sometimes he went overboard with it specially in his social media posts.

A lot of people had reasons to believe that ryan is a drug user but there hasn't been any evidence to prove if this is a fact but that was the only way people could explain why he misbehave on social media. Ryan has always been known for his terrible behaviour but at the same time people believe that he just he is always just extremely with whatever he does.

As far as i can remember, there is no rehydration clause in this fight so Conor Benn could regain as much as he want. I just hope that his team could do this regaining perfectly fine. I remember well in the fight between Pacquiao and De La Hoya wherein the latter was not regaining weight, don't know exactly what happened there but on the fight night, Pacquiao was the bigger fighter of the two.

BTW, there was a face-off that was scheduled yesterday but Ryan Garcia didn't showed up, it was only Conor Benn was present and guess what some of the journalist who was there said that Conor Benn was looking absolutely fine. This is good news as we are in for a good fight if those two fighters are in good condition.

I don’t remember Ryan against Tank having so many media events and that was a much bigger fight. And there is still another press conference later today. Blowing off one event isn’t such a big deal if it doesn’t become a recurring habit. Both of them are always involved in some drama that these things get sensationalized on social media. There are so many rumors, but we will only find out the truth about weight issues and how serious their training was once the fight happens.

I don't know if the Teo appearing on the press conference is a non-setup. Because for me it looks like it, as suddenly Garcia was talking about Teo and suddenly he was in the mic and asking questions then revealing himself.

I've watched this video from one YouTube channel, and TBH, I also have some doubts on Garcia as well after watching this.

First, that's not a promotion. I'm just sharing it, and we can try to watch it to see the other side of the story (Benn), and how he could possibly defeat Garcia. Basically, one point that could make Garcia lose in this match is the fact that there are some instances where he's dropping his defense whenever he's doing his signature left hook punch, and that could be an opportunity for his opponent to counter. The perfect example is when Tank Davis knocked him down because of that problem of him. Against an aggressive fighter like Benn, one drop of defense could mean trouble. There are many more reasons as to why Benn COULD defeat him on that video.

I'll ignore the face-off because it's all hype at the end of the day. Garcia is focusing more on the promotions while Benn is focusing more on conditioning. Let's see who will have the upper hand come 12th of September. I'll watch this if I have free time.

I have seen both fighters' conditioning levels, and all I can say is we have a good match tomorrow, they are motivated and in top form, there’s no alibi for the loser. I expect an action-packed fight.

I'll pick Ryan to win the match. In boxing, speed and power are everything, and based on what I see, Ryan has the edge in these, but he needs to stop Connor because if the fight goes the distance, Connor will have the edge. He's been through a lot of championship rounds, and he always managed to finish strong.
My verdict: I'll pick Ryan to stop Connor if the fight goes the distance its Connor's game

And man...  Ryan Garcia knows how to sell a fight!  Don't know what it is but the UFC pre fight press conferences as of late look pale compared to the one they just did with Garcia vs Benn.  If they organized events to be more like how this one is, I'll prolly start watching boxing regularly again.
