I think you're right in there but I don't think that most people are often thinking about that miracle. Miracles only happens if you wor for it, same with luck. Well, you might have hit a nerve there to someone out there but I don't think it will be applicable to all because people will not have the same mindset.

I'd rather try but I'm not waiting for a miracle over my bets, I'd research for it or probably get some idea over other gamblers out there.

It is what I've said few times: money is something you always can recover, but time losted... this you never get back again.

I wouldn't call winning decent money out of gambling a "miracle". It's definitely a result of luck and placing the right bet at the right time, but it's definitely not a miracle. Most gamblers already had at least one big win in their lives, so they want to achieve that big win once more.
I think that you are a bit exaggerating with the whole "your are wasting your money and your time while gambling" mentality. I don't gamble for several hours per day and I don't spend ridiculous amounts of money at the casino/sportsbook. I gamble in my free time and not more than 2 hours a day. Gambling addicts do have a real problem with excessive gambling and spending absurd amounts of time and money at the casino, but not every gambler is an addict.

You are very right, many gamblers have this mindset. I know a friend who has the ambition of studying abroad. His parents cannot afford the cost, and he is seeking ways to raise the funds. My problem with him is that instead of working hard and saving to fund his dream, he is busy using his work earnings to gamble. He believes that he will win big, which will finance his education.

He has been working for over six years now, and the majority of his income is spent on gambling. I am sure that he has wasted more than he would have used to pursue his education abroad.

Perhaps everyone needs to make a difficult but correct decision in life: become a complete realist. Someone who accepts the full truth and pain of life. It's about how life isn't a fun game, how there's plenty of deception, and how there's no such thing as a free lunch. This applies to both bookmakers and casinos.

To be honest bud, I think you are overthinking this, every human who is alive and healthy have time as a currency which we can individually spend on anything of choice, we all have 24 hours of time each day and out of this, we ourselves individually decide how of this time we spend thing productive, how much of it we spend playing around and how much of it we spend sleeping/resting etc.

There is no way anybody can gamble without spending time, or maybe you just want to bet and you are always giving someone money to place bets for you while you spend your own time doing something else..
The important thing here is, gambling still requires time, if you are ready to give time to gambling, then it means you don't want to gamble, one does not eat his or her cake and still have it, if you want to gamble, you must spend time as an indirect currency alongside the money also.

While I play and wait for that miracle of x500000 max win even under minimal bet I don't think I lose a lot of money as I only gamble on weekends most likely and during night time before going to sleep, so I also don't think I lose a lot of time either. I usually play from 30 to 100 dollars week, lately 30 dollars just to have some fun and if I get the max win great though I never ever got one during the last almost 8 years of playing regularly and even if I don't get it still great as I only spent a couple of hours having fun during a weekend.
