Just an update on this fight, it was reported that this might be in jeopardy,

Floyd Mayweather’s scheduled June 27 exhibition vs. kickboxer Mike Zambidis in Athens, Greece, is in jeopardy after the IRS notified him of its intention to revoke his U.S. passport, according to documents reviewed by The Ring.

The IRS explained to Mayweather that the passport action is related to an unresolved seriously delinquent tax debt.

So those who are saying that Floyd doesn't have money problems, this could be the proof. If he still has the money then he can simply pass the tax and not drag his name. But it seems that he doesn't want to pay or doesn't have the money to begin with.

Competition can no longer be interesting to see when the results are predictable, as no one is excited to see what will happen next. Nowadays, promoters appear to be more willing to create special, lucrative happenings, when nobody is requesting them. Admittedly, these competition are only meant to gain popularity on the Internet, through existing online streaming site. The real essence of competition is gradually lost and instead of that, we have just stage shows when profit making is the main objective.

This match is more of a warm-up before facing a rematch against the official match later in September, the charming Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao. I think this is legitimate. This is an exhibition match. Kick Boxer fans are really looking forward to this match, especially for fans of Mike Zambidis, a former kick boxer who has scored 87 KO wins in his career. I think the exhibition match called "Battle of the Legends" is very interesting for us to watch as a very entertaining match, especially since Floyd Mayweather will also defend his record of 50-0 (27 KO). This is very interesting for a show.

Yes, that's what everyone is saying, he is a bit rusty and so he wants to get a tune up first against a unknown. He will get his money and at the same time prepare himself against Manny later. But it seems that this fight might not happen as per the post, his passport might be revoke because of his non-payment to the IRS.

Hopefully though, the fight with Pacquiao won't be cancelled and maybe just moved on a later date. As the fans are all eager and waiting for it for years now. So everything is on Floyd's, he should really cooperate with IRS so that there won't be any problems for him with the Manny fight.

There was no fan fare though, a far cry when we see Floyd's prime year wherein the press conference is huge and well attended. But a promotion is a promotion and Floyd will have to do is so that it can get the hype that it needed although he is fighting a unknown fighter here.

I was happy the Pauls are staying quiet for now. I hope they won't be back ever to the boxing ring as professionals. But it seems Floyd is fast becoming their replacement. The difference is that he'd avoid fighting as a professional as it might stain the only thing he's proud of and that the Pauls were picking popular names. 

Mayweather is having an exhibition, but against an unknown fighter. But this is similar in the sense that this is all purely for the money and it might be a part of their agreement that Floyd will win. And this looks like it, with the conference made in Floyd's gym and his arm around Zambidis' shoulder. It looks like Zambidis is Floyd's employee.

Looks like this is the case, not saying that it's bad to show respect. But in this case, it's very different to see Floyd getting his arms around his opponent. We haven't seen that version of Floyd in any of his fights.

maybe this Zambidis is just paid to lose the fight or it looks like this is just a sparring "fight" for Floyd. And I don't know how he can shake his ring rust fighting a unknown boxer and it looks like no one is interested to see this match.

Honestly saying, that press conference looked lame He will earn millions for that, but press conference is organized like an amateur fight promotion in fathers garage-gym. Conference and promotions is a total mismatch of a life Floyd shows everyone. It all looked like it was organized in few hours. Created an event banner, put few chairs, lights, paid audience to ask question and crowd to fill the place, and he can put this fights on a non-stop monthly production.
