Yet, and yet, in almost any of those you'll need something else instead of your phone if you want to make a good photo or a great video, and you'll need a pro if you want to edit your  too. You won't need anything else for a cryptocurrency transaction or international communication, that's true, but, in my opinion, demand will not be reduced for many things because of the phones, even though it may seem like it will.

...but in real life, 99.9% of people buy a cell phone that can do all of the above at a reasonable level. For example, do you always carry around a DSLR camera, a camcorder, a game console, a music player, a VCR, a laptop, ... No, just like I don’t carry all that stuff because I have a smartphone. Yes, I have a DSLR camera, but I use it quite rarely, and only for full-scale photo shoots. A smartphone is no longer just a phone, and that part of the name is already an anachronism It’s now a multifunctional digital device. All-in-one, and it’s really convenient for everyday life. But that’s just my personal opinion

I can go a week without having time to sit and watch TV, my phone feels like I have everything I need. If you see me sit down and glue my eyes on TV then there is something worth watching on BBC, Aljazeera or any other news outlets, and during the weekend for watching match and sometimes I skipped them if I have alot of to do task on my list, this show how smart phones has made some of these things useless to some people and demand die down.

However, they have not completely render them useless, regions where people can't access some of these things easily, they still use them. Although, there are some things you can't replace even with technology advancement, I have an alarm clock for timing, my phone isn't loud enough to wake me like I want and camera? You can never replace that, there is no phone camera that can beat camera based device, some camera will buy some smart phones 10x, there are somethings you can't replaced.

Where I used to work, they still have calendars on the walls, and they still use flashlights, especially when they're needed on a hard hat to illuminate dark corners in dark rooms. Even though an Android smartphone may contain all these necessary things that organize or help with leisure time, they are not very functional. A large battery-powered flashlight with different modes can shine very well, unlike the weak light from an Android flashlight, for example.

Things have changed but we can never forget all these things that we use to get information from before android phones, we are living the life that we all wanted and forget the past but the past is one of the best life experiences ever many people have ever lived, the reason why i said that is because in my country things are still very good and people can afford newspapers, torchlight, radio and other things but now not everyone can afford a android phone because of the economy of the country but there are still people who are using radios and newspapers to get information about what is happening in the world, there are still many old people who prefer listening to radio than using android phone because they are used to hearing news from radio and others, we that know how important our android phones are will know how important it is for us.

You're largely correct in your examples, but Calendars serves more purposes than just keeping dates, they're used to remember memorable events as well Just like magazines and are still being given as souvenirs in occasions. Camera on the other hand is a professional tool and I don't think it's use in videography and events coverage can ever be replaced by smart phones, no matte how smart the phone is. Many past innovations have been totally phased out and that is normal, innovation and integration has made access to normal things which was done analogously to be accessible through more portable digital devices and softwares. People who are ICT literate have a lot of advantage since most most form of communication and engagements can be done comfortable from anywhere and long as you've a smart phone and a PC.

Everything is now right at our fingertips through our smartphones. I rememberr when I was a kid, watching TV and owning a DVD player was a luxury. but now all that is a thing of the past. even if we still have them at home, we probably rarely touch them anymore.

Still, I wonder if the future will bring something even more advanced. Like communication that doesn’t require devices like today’s phones, using the Internet of Things or something like a BCI (brain-computer interface). You don't need to buy them but they are still much mass produced. There are still people who needs such things no because it's important but for comfort they just do. Today's technology if you haven't noticed are becoming very much smaller and way too comfortable. I still remember then living with my parents, we all would come out to the living room to watch the TV or for some stories with parents. But since the advent of technology and mobile phones, it seems everyone can just watch or stream directly from their devices.

Well this is true that the lot of apps has been integrated in the mobile phones and those are the digital ones and then that demand for those things have gone dramatically down or closed to nil and that includes the calendars even the wedding invites, the birthday wishes and a lot of things that have become virtual instead of physical.

For example you can see that a decade back almost everyone used to wear a watch but since the popularity of the smartphone everyone uses watch activities on smartphone but very few people  you see wearing physical watch these days because they can get the time directly from their phones.

In my village, there are still quite a lot of people who use wall calendars, in fact, almost every house still uses them because most here are still a lot of stuttering in technology.
Then flashlights are also still widely used because the main road here is still poorly lit so you need a flashlight to travel at night.

No, I'm not carting that stuff with me, but professionals do. Professional photographers, film directors, DJs, game streamers, all of them use something else than their telephones when doing their job. And there's a lot of them people like that nowadays. Especially wannabe ones, who also prefer using pro equipment.

For a fact we’re in a digital era and just have to embrace it otherwise things might get difficult with excess expenses as mention buying calendar, dvd. In terms of dvd, presently there’s clearly an online channel although the channel still requires monthly subscription which is understandable knowing fully well nothing is render free.

Everything will change and evolve to become easier and more practical. That is what is meant by change in every generation, and we cannot stop it.
AI is the change we are currently experiencing. Everything feels more convenient thanks to this technological advancement. We are experiencing modernization and advancement what was very heavy before becomes very lighter in body mass yet they are having the same function, new era will keep evolving from time to time and there is no going to be an end to innovation provided that life continues people will keep solving problems and creating problems over and over again and that is the nature of man, those who find it difficult to get use to new environments, new innovations will have limitations as what they will prefer to stick to will no longer be in existence with time the best thing is for them to keep improving themselves in getting used to new things, for old things will pass away.

I can't talk about other parts of the phone. But I can talk about the photography, and if you ever owned even a semi half decent camera, like nothing even expensive, I am talking about like 200 dollar one, not some major item, even that is like ten times better than a phone, not even remotely close. We should realize that the adjustments and settings of a camera is like the whole point, you can't just point at anything and click, it's not just about camera work neither, those settings, quality, preferences, all matters in the end.
