I’m fine with you being the captain, no problem there. Just give me the right to create our team name and flag, haha. I’m serious about that, so you won’t have to worry about the design.

I just accepted the invite on TG but I have to tell you guys I am not that active there but for the sake of World Cup I can use it to chat and strategize

About captain, no problem, it just means I pretend I lead the team and the real leaders win us the games right? Just like some football teams in real life lol

Please, make the team name plus flag, I don't even know where to start and I had my BSFL flag created for me anyway.

Call me an old fart but I still don't know basics of modern apps, I just have a very old semi-smartphone

Just for information(LFC), make Heyshbosh know this is not a "free to taste" contest since he has that chance in one of my contest (the F1 one) and he can receive a neutral tag if he does things like that, here in the forum playing in a contest equals commitment. I have nothing against you since you are a newbie and for that im writing this to prevent you of having troubles in the future.

PS: dont take my message too serious it can sound like that but is because my english is not so good.

Just to clarify i already spoke with him via pm and is all ok, no problem. I just warned him about that but he is a new guy in town so he deserves to have a chance like everyone, as i said dont take my message as an attack.

Giys what software do you use for logo design. I must admit that I don't know much about computer graphics and the logos shown so far look pretty cool.

I don't want our team to have less good looking logo, so any tips are wellcome.

You can just use some AI software to generate you your logo. I usually use Gemini to generate me an image. I just describe what I want and it works pretty much OK. For our logo Daniel91 used wix.com. I haven't use it so I don't know how it works. But I used Gemini to fix the logo that wix.com generated because we got 6x6 checkerboard instead of 5x5.

Before AI, we had to be an expert to create a quality logo for our club, but now that's no longer the case, you just need an initial idea, a good description of what you want and AI does the rest.
Yes, I used wix and used free credits when you create an account with them.
When you tell them what you want, you get 4 versions of the logo, you choose one and you can tweak it a bit.
You can see the final result on our profile page, our team logo is very good, isn't it? 
Now we have done all the preparations and we are ready for this competition.
Similar to the Croatian national team at the last 2 world championships, we expect a medal.

This is the first we heard about the two of you connecting. Idea is you discuss it in private and then write it here when it is agreed. Feel free to talk about this competition among your local boards. I expected to see some people that aren't part of BSFL to be recruited by those that are.

You can't use free bets for the competition. 10$ in any accepted currency will do. 10$ is a minimum you can bet as much as you want but it will not help you for the competition

I don't think there is any problem for you to be in that post. Nobody can force you to be captain or even to play Worst thing that can happen is that someone sends you a PM and asks you about forming the club. Also being the captain shouldn't be anything stressful if you are planing to play seriously. Mostly just keeping an eye on the thread to keep up with the info.

If you really want out of the post, send me or cryptofrka a PM or say it once more and it will be done.

Yes, try it, it's very simple.
If a complete non-expert in design, like me, could use AI and free credits to create a very interesting and original logo for our team in this competition, then anyone can.
I'm glad you like our idea and logo design.
I'm sure you can do the same for your team!
Of course, there are more important things than the logo, but why not start this prestigious competition in the right and original way?

Just please change the name a bit - Asia is too broad and would stop potentially new teams from Asia applying as well.

Allowed Team Names: Finland, Nordics, Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa
Not Allowed: Mixed countries (France & Italy), vague/global regions (Asia, Northern Hemisphere), Non-geographic names (African Tigers).

Just take a part of Asia and use that one please - so that other Asian teams can work around that.
