Honestly, I would be happy if Ronaldo scored at least 1 goal. I don't know what his physical condition is and how much he will play in the match, but somehow I don't feel like he will be at the level of Haaland or Mbappe.

That's probably the main reason I never liked the guy. It's not a fair reason at all, but that smirk he has after he scores even a penalty. Haaland's smirk I can bear, it has a different "vibe" as the kids these days say.

Do you remember how Pipo Inzaghi celebrated even more insignificant goals, but somehow ppl weren't annoyed by it? (They were annoyed by some other things he did, but not that.)

For a moment I thought that Curacao scoring vs Germany would be what decided winner in our game vs WPRA, but in the end it finished 0-2. Not that start I hoped for, but well..

Yes, I agree.
Ronaldo disappointed again, after all, just like 4 years ago in Qatar, and it seems to me that he has been playing for a long time based on his "old glory and name" in the Portuguese national team.
I did not expect such a bad performance from Spain, according to some bookmakers the first or second favorite of the World Cup.
There are really a lot of surprises and unexpected results at this World Cup, and many favorites are struggling.
Yesterday I also watched the Croatian national team and after what I saw, it is obvious that we are no longer at the level we were 4 or 8 years ago. Older players have fallen physically, like Modric, Kovacic or Perisic, and the younger ones are not ready yet and make a lot of mistakes.
As far as these competitions are concerned, the defeat will not shake us and we will fight on, until the end.
