Hate to say this but this match is the most important one for me in this round, or rather, its the most important one for my team because Little Italy does not like England to win in regular time and in fact is the only one who picked that, while they have both Kane and Haaland in the goalscorer picks.

Seems a terrible idea to go against both top strikers of the tournament but I believe in S.E.A. power!

Our first different answer starts tonight 

Huge day for our team today, a lot will be defined in today's game, we are definitely going to need some luck on our side. All of our hopes are riding on a low scoring game with Lamine getting on the scoreboard while Oyarzabal stays quiet. I know that's asking for a lot to align but we have reached the knockout rounds where there is no room for mistakes, just lots of strategy, hope and luck. Our squad is ready and will do everything they can to qualify for the semifinals.

We do have a strong opponent in this round, I was surprised to find ourselves facing a group leader in the quarterfinals, it would have made more sense for the quarterfinal bracket to be seeded, which is something the "Federation/Mafia" should consider for the next tournament, although I hear rumors that they are already planning an expansion to 32 teams for the next edition.

You were unlucky in the end. I personally thought it would be low so I made that pick in BSFL, but luckily my teammates have much more sense than me

We both lost our Spanish goalscorer picks, but we are on a slight advantage now from last night's 3 goals.

Belgium was flawless in defense because it looked like Spain players wanted to enter the goal with the ball. They rarely decided to shoot from the distance, but luckily for me (in another competition) they managed to win in the end. Yamal was a complete disaster today.

Yamal was utterly anonymous, especially in the second half. When he was marked by the young Joachim Seals, it turned out to be a truly brilliant tactical move by Garcia. I thought Yamal would destroy him, but it ended up being the other way around.

And once again, Merino saved Spain, although he definitely won't be available for the next game. He's a totally underrated player by every standard. I truly love the guy at Arsenal.

Don't know about you guys, but I want to see Norway making another upset. First because I'm hater of England. But it's just difficult not to like Norway. There were lot of predictions before tournaments that they can become black horses of tournament, including mine and it turned into reality.
Argentina - Switzerland, if in previous games ref decisions raised some questions, now it's difficult to expect that ref from Portugal will work in favour of Argentina

Both teams are playing conservative football; I'm surprised England isn't even attempting to win corners after Rice was substituted. Saka is cutting too much into the midfield, and if he continues like this, we may not see another England corner. Norway is the only one going full attack here.

Honestly if I'm told Norway will have more corners I would have argued. England were very relaxed but all thanks to Norway that gave us more corners.

Our qualification now hangs in the balance and it's now all dependent on Over 6.5 corners in Argentina - Switzerland game, I probably would have been more confident with 3 corners happening in the first half, if it was Argentina lead and taking control of the game, Switzerland aren't doing too much probing, hopefully that would change in 2nd half for the Swiss.

About Argentina game I was thinking Switzerland can fight untill the end. They actually did but that silly miskates all game by Emolo cost so much to his team and our team aswell. I did not know VAR can intervane  this kinda stuations. It was the right call tho so nothing to sad about. Congrats West africa!

Thank you but you guys really did well, thumbs up to you guys also. It was not an easy win for us neither. You guys were already winning in the penalties and we didn’t have any hope in that aspect if the game reached penalties, our only hope for the game not to reach the penalties and win was Argentina winning the match with two goals difference which came in the last minute of the second half extra time.

I already gave up hope that we won’t make it through this round after watching the match till the 105 minutes, I just put off my TV and put my phone away to not push me to keep checking the live scores or seeing notifications. I went to bed and luckily I woke up to good news. We won after a tough battle with Black Sea. You guys did well also, we just got the luck to make it to the semifinals ahead of you guys.

Definitely one of the matches with nerves for me to watch so far in this world cup, we had our tie in air and needed 7 corners and plus no players getting booked before the 39th minute for us to get the dub, I really didn't think the match would go on for that long without a booking, it was just the referee being lenient for while until he's had enough int 44 minute, which means we already secure penalty but still needed 4 corners in the 2nd half for a ticket to pass, only less than a minute left out of nowhere Argentina got the corner to send us through, it must have been tough loss for Imperium Romanum who we defeated in the group stages as well, but Gg guys!
