Truly truly a tough opponent, I can't overtake mafia in Bookie, but I'm very happy we proceed to quarterfinals.

Funny this happened like the real life version, first 2 teams won in regular time and next 2 teams needed 'extra' time/penalties.

Now on we meet Team Naija!!

I think we all didn’t suffer enough in the group stage but damn this one hell of a knockout stage, I had thought that our round of 16 tie will be one which we will suffer more but it wasn’t rather it was just this game, we new after the Spain vs Belgium game that were definitely in for a nervy end to this round because we need out bet slip in and we were trying to avoid an early yellow card due to the penalty question and also not more than 2 yellow cards also in the first half that went in really fast but the four corner needed in the second half was seriously a big one, 30 seconds to end of the game and we got it.

The real World Cup was on the pitch but definitely the pressure was on us here. That third Argentina Goal didn’t send Argentina to the last four alone but eliminated two big opponents here too.

Ouch, what a loss.. The only thing that could kick us out was Argentina covering a -1,5 goals handicap while scoring 3 or more goals in the process.
That goal in the 121st minute was truly tough to take.

Team Little Italy gave it everything, but even under the leadership of our great captain Trofo, who managed four correct scores, we couldn't overcome a strong S.E.A. United. Congrats to them! GG South America - we got a bit luckier in the end.
I personally will need a small break from the World Cup......my heart almost stopped beating whenever a goal alert came in on flashscore.

GG, it was an epic ending to our match, we tried everything we possibly could to turn it around, even going all out and throwing five forwards onto the pitch during extra time but you managed to defend incredibly well.
Ultimately Messi not scoring was one of our main demises, we got a lifeline out of nowhere when Saka didn't start, we just needed a goal or two from Messi to seal the deal, we were so confident because he had scored in every single game of this World Cup, plus he scored in the last four matches of the last World Cup too, but just like his goal scoring streak came to an end, our Road to Glory has unfortunately turned into a "Road to the Asado"

I'm very proud of our squad, we gave it our all and fought with everything we had until the last second.
Team WPRA, you deserve to advance further so keep enjoying the ride! As for us the tournament is over and it's time to fire up the barbecue.

Considering that there are only 2 games per round, the betslip rule has been changed.
It is written in the form, but mentioning it transparently here as well.

The new rule is:

Submit a 10$+ ticket from Rainbet with a minimum of 2 selections from the semifinal games with a minimum of 1.50 odds per selection. The ticket will be paired against your opponent's and the one with higher winning odds will win the round. Both losing tickets will lead to a tie.

So we have two teams each from Africa and Asia left - so the possibility of derbies is quite high.
Out of all semifinalists, three teams are still undefeated and one team survived all death matches since R32!

The same situation was for my team, remember, a late goal by Brazil in the 10th minute of the referee's extra time that knocked us out of the competition.
Unfortunately, that's life and we have to move on, and focus on other competitions.

My team was eliminated in a similar way. We were waiting for a goal in the Portugal vs. Spain match, and Bernardo Silva had the perfect chance but couldn't convert it... That cost us a place in the next round. I hope there will be more competitions with a similar concept in the future because it's genuinely very interesting.

Definitely one of the matches with nerves for me to watch so far in this world cup, we had our tie in air and needed 7 corners and plus no players getting booked before the 39th minute for us to get the dub, I really didn't think the match would go on for that long without a booking, it was just the referee being lenient for while until he's had enough int 44 minute, which means we already secure penalty but still needed 4 corners in the 2nd half for a ticket to pass, only less than a minute left out of nowhere Argentina got the corner to send us through, it must have been tough loss for Imperium Romanum who we defeated in the group stages as well, but Gg guys!

Well ussually i try to not use so much the forum and the internet on weekends so for that i was not here posting but here im.

First of all congratulations to the WRPA who beat us, it was a super tight game despite how it ended with a 2-0 but until the last minute we were close to the comeback, sadly for us in this game Messi didnt show up for us (crazy to say this), plus Lammens and his horrible rebound kill us in the Spain-Belgium game.

Despite that im very happy to had played with Fm and el el che, we were a super team.

Haha what you wanted was actually the complete opposite of what my team wanted to happen. Eventhough our teams weren't directly competing against your team Argentina's two extra time goals were exactly what my team needed to qualify for the semifinals. If those goals hadn't happened, my team would've been eliminated and yours would've qualified instead. Right?

I guess that's just how these tournaments go like sometimes the 0.01% chance moments decide everything. Hopefully we'll get another event like this in the next World Cup. Maybe that time you guys will win.
