Had Joshua not been able to win this fight, it would have been a really more difficulty place for him, because he would have the thought that he may never be able to recover fully to be fit enough to win a fight. The first round was scary for Joshua's fans; it's like another Dubois scenario. Obviously, this was the result of a long inactivity; the reflexes will have a hard time adjusting, but it was good that he survived the first round. Prenga is not a good finisher; that could become a career-ending loss. He needs more preparation for his next fight with Fury because unlike Prenga, Fury will not sit back and not fight back in the second round after just having a good first round. Joshua really needs a lot of preparation; he needs to go back to his old dangerous self. Tyson was all hype when he beat Walsh; he wants the fight to happen because of Joshua's vulnerability. I can't wait to see these two guys sign the contract and face each other; it's a ten-year-in-the-making fight, but it's still worth it.

What happened to Prenga after an explosive opening round? He was supposed to dictate the fight. After flooring Joshua two times, he wasn't throwing those punches anymore. Why was he suddenly on the defensive? Prenga's corner is probably aware Joshua legs are already giving up, but it seems they aren't taking advantage. Prenga himself seemed to be clueless how to continue moving forward and looked to his corner.
Anyway, great comeback for Joshua. The man has the punch. But it seems he doesn't have the legs. I doubt he could survive Fury's weight.
According to the commentary, that was one of the worst first round for Anthony Joshua in this history of his boxing career. We could see him laughing and giggling, but that was all psychological. ( deep down he was disappointed as shit). He has just been through a really difficult time and that was his first fight since, I can understand the rustiness he showed in the first round. I am happy that he was able to find himself again within the break and come back really strong in the 2nd round to knockout Prenga. Had Joshua not been able to win this fight, it would have been a really more difficulty place for him, because he would have the thought that he may never be able to recover fully to be fit enough to win a fight. He needs more preparation for his next fight with Fury because unlike Prenga, Fury will not sit back and not fight back in the second round after just having a good first round. Anthony Joshua was almost destroyed mentally as he had only come back to boxing in the first round. Luckily he came back to himself, and overpowered Prenga in the second round. Such a win played a vital role in boosting his confidence. But having a boxer like Tyson Fury as an opponent, one will need a lot more preparation as his opponent is not just going to sit down and watch.

That was almost a total disaster for AJ. There is so much riding on a match with Fury; those plans were so close to being ruined.
I believe AJ didn't believe when he was knocked down twice in the first round of the fight but in the second round he got his motivation back and attacked Prenga before hitting him hard with his right hand that knocked him out. From the performance of AJ I think he still needs sometime to heal properly and overcome the emotional pains that he's passing through after losing his best friends but if he needs to keep fighting to get back to his feet then the win against Prenga has given him the opportunity to face Fury. AJ should go back and train harder because he needs to prove himself again by defeating Fury, since Prenga couldn't stop him but instead made way for a fight against Fury we can't wait to see AJ beating Fury that would be the best come back from him.

I don't know why fighters take these pointless warm up fights as they're way too risky.
Way too risky, and the pressure on the superstar fighter even makes it worse for them. It is fights they dare not lose, because they are up against 'fighters' way below their level, so the underdog is under no pressure at all, and that acts as fuel for them. These particular 'warm up' bouts could even kill interest for the main fight. I mean, Fury and Joshua were far from their best in their respective fights, and that could leave viewers will little to expect from either of them when they face each other.

--- can Usyk become his new or unofficial coach?
Are there any news about this one? Or it's just you saying some things? I don't see this happening, and I don't see Usyk retiring for good now especially when he said that he wants to fight one last time before he retires. There are no news, but if you google that information, you will find plenty of it; where those two train together and Usyk is mostly the one that shows moves or coaches, but Anthony Joshua repeats. Perhaps after taking beating twice from Usyk, Anthony Joshua was ready to ask for a lesson, strategy or suggestions how to be better or become one. That is why I have said unofficial coach. I can be wrong and that can be only my imagination, but Usyk was seen in boxing gym together with Joshua several times, and in media weeks or days before the fight I saw that Usyk was also showing Joshua some tricks.

The fight between these two boxers was also fast, you would think that in round 1, Prengga landed an uppercut on Joshua in about 30 seconds, I thought it was over right away in that round.
Then when Joshua survived round 1, he recovered and retaliated, the timing was also great when Joshua punched Prengga with a series of right hands, Prengga really received pure punches, which was the reason the referee stopped the fight, it's looked like Joshua punched him hard with his right fist.

Joshua probably knows how to take a knockdown without panicking. He went down, recovered, and was still able to get back up and continue fighting. He didn’t look badly hurt either. His eyes still looked clear, his face was fresh, and he wasn’t wobbling when he stood up. Sometimes a fighter can be knocked down because of balance or a well-timed punch, but that doesn’t always mean he is seriously hurt. ( congrats to him for the KO win) Then when Joshua survived round 1, he recovered and retaliated, the timing was also great when Joshua punched Prengga with a series of right hands, Prengga really received pure punches, which was the reason the referee stopped the fight, it's looked like Joshua punched him hard with his right fist.
looks scripted to me, i think he just want to entertain the fans.

I think Joshua could have been surprised by the power of Prenga. Although he was able to recover very quick. And we all know that he has been in this kind of situation before. So he knows how to react from it. Then when Joshua survived round 1, he recovered and retaliated, the timing was also great when Joshua punched Prengga with a series of right hands, Prengga really received pure punches, which was the reason the referee stopped the fight, it's looked like Joshua punched him hard with his right fist.
He had dance with some power punchers, so he waited for the right time. And Joshua has power too, although his chin has been question, his power though is real as he knockout many boxers before. So it's just a matter of time for him to land that perfect shot to knockout down Prenga. I don't think it's scripted though, on the other hand, they might be thinking ahead of the fight against Fury that's why he might have misjudge Prenga early.

Personally, if the same thing happened in a fight between them and Fury scored an early knockdown, I’m not sure Joshua would recover that easily. I thought Joshua had improved, but he still seems vulnerable, especially with his chin and how his body reacts when he gets pressured. That’s why I still wouldn’t expect him to beat Fury, to be honest. His best chance would probably be if Fury came in underprepared or didn’t take the fight seriously.

Looking at the odds from different sportsbooks, it’s clear that Fury is the strong favorite. The early knockdown Joshua suffered may have influenced the market too, especially if the line moved after that fight. Oddschecker currently lists Fury around 8/13 and Joshua around 17/10. I’d also back Fury to win. A first-round loss would be too brutal for Joshua, but honestly, I don’t expect him to last the full 12 rounds either. Joshua reminds me a little of Wilder in the sense that both are dangerous punchers, but once they get hurt or pressured, they can struggle to recover and adjust. Fury is very good at using his size, movement, and pressure, so unless he comes in badly prepared, I think he eventually stops Joshua.

That sounds more like a dream than something realistic. Joshua has already lost several times, so I don’t think he belongs on the same level as Usyk right now. Usyk dominated the heavyweight division despite being smaller than both Joshua and Fury. He didn’t rely on size, he simply outboxed them. Looking at his record, he beat Joshua twice and Fury twice. --- Not once, but twice. At this point, Usyk has already proven he is not on their level.

Those were two completely different rounds, and it's hard to say why Joshua was so bad in the first round. But I think the most important thing is that he was able to hold his own. And it's strange why Prenga started acting differently in the second round, because it seemed like his fast attacks were getting good results. Although perhaps he was afraid to continue like that for fear of running out of steam. Congratulations to Joshua, I saw that Usyk was there too, and he was worried about Joshua.

I mean Anthony Joshua will be the second best after Usyk. That means Usyk is the world best for now, while the fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will determine who will be the second best. I believe they will meet two times and I think Joshua would win both. Although I just said that, there are also good fighters like Daniel Dubois.

Let us not be sentimental with our judgement, we know Anthony Joshua was not at full capacity in his recent fight with Prenga and with that same fitness, he would not stand a chance against Fury. Anthony Joshua would only have a chance at the early start of the game if he makes use of his chances and lands a major blow that could take Fury out. Tyson Fury is known to for quick movement, heavyweight and has quite the experience in the field. He has a higher chance to win over Anthony, also considering the fact that Anthony was involved in a major accident last year which could affect his mentality.

I was also aware how commentators were also noticed it. However, let's be positive it's not scriipted because prenga has also landed some punches on AJ at the first round. If it's not scripted, then AJ would not be dropped for twice, right?

This will be Joshua's first fight since the fatal accident. The Joshua vs. Prenga fight doesn't seem like a huge challenge. It looks like a fight designed for Joshua to regain his rhythm. He seems like a chosen opponent to help him get back into the ring and psychologically prepare himself. There are no easy opponents in heavyweight division. I mean, even a single accurate punch can change things in heavyweight division, regardless of the level difference.

I expected the car accident and lose of his team members/friends to affect the way he fights but it seems he came back stronger, I watched the replay of the knockout punch he gave to Kristian Prenga, wow it was unbelievable, you could tell Joshua was pained and wasn't joiking around. The fight between Joshua and Fury has been of serious concern to me cause I had an argument with a friend off the forum so I can't wait for the match to see who would be proven wrong, Fury is more mentally/physically fit moreover he recently won a match too so there would be no excuse of being unprepared if Joshua wins.

I mean, at this point these are "retired" boxers, I doubt that anyone takes these as seriously considering that they are way too old, and the thing is that, back in the day world champions were mostly 20s kids, and maybe early 30s, and now we are watching boxers who are nearing 40 years old. Joshua is 36, and will be 37 in a couple of months only, Prenga is 35 years old, Ngannou, whom Joshua fought only 2 years ago, is 39 right now, Usyk, one of the best right now if not the best, is 39 years old, and Fury is 37 years old. These are all "old" guys, so the sport is changing, but for marketing reasons.

I was also aware how commentators were also noticed it. However, let's be positive it's not scriipted because prenga has also landed some punches on AJ at the first round. If it's not scripted, then AJ would not be dropped for twice, right? Only Jackie Chan in the movies can fight for hours without tiring and maintain a steady pace. 🙋 An experienced boxer like Joshua would definitely have had a test fight in the first round (which is exactly what happened). He got all the necessary information about his opponent's tactics and fighting style, and in the second round, he simply finished him off with a flurry of punches! The other thing is, Joshua seemed to be still recovering from the accident and had a hard time withstanding Prenga's furious attack. The test fight clearly didn't go as planned. He really did almost lose the fight in the first round... As for Prenga, he's an underdog and not a very experienced boxer. In the first round, he fought on adrenaline, giving it his all, but by the second, he was already significantly tired. Therefore, Prenga no longer had the strength to box on equal terms with a boxer like Joshua... No, I'm sure this wasn't a staged fight! 👊
