I was completely surprised to see my name mentioned in this thread as a founder.

His "Bitcointalk Defensive Alliance" is pure demagogy. An existing DT system works and doesn't need any alternative. I consider proposals of 1miau yet another legalization of organized form of trust abusing.

The account does not need to be tagged because of this, both users had made themselves clear that 1miau did not invite them and that is enough.

Only what people will be watching for is if the account changed in posting, and also monitoring the account of any suspicious activities. Tagging it for this reason is just an abuse of power.

I ain't going to lie, this does not feel like the way 'miau miau' writes, especially since it's only the second post since they returned. With the fact that we haven't interacted deeply, this new cat feels weird to me, but I might be wrong. About said case, no reaction from me against them until a firm evidence is gathered.[Damn, I can't distrust miau miau]

First off: 1miau definitely didn’t create this thread just to farm Merits. Why would he? He’s long since reached Legendary status and is one of the accounts that has received the most Merits.

Wouldn't it be easier to ask for a signed message from an address he has posted? Gazetabitcoin is also buddies with the guy I believe, maybe he could let us know if it's the real 1miau also? I seen someone mention signed message earlier in this thread and I haven't seen a message, might be time to tag til we get to the bottom of this.

April 29th I made this post. All 3 reference him signing a message which went ignored and the defense thread he made got locked April 30th by him I assume as that was the last time they logged in as well.

I share the same thoughts and concerns.  One of the members I know had a closer relationship to 1miau was GazetaBitcoin and his reply to the 'Alliance' membership he did not even give consent for did not seem like he was taking it as a legitimate return either,

I think so too. A previous 1miau was an experienced in crypto who was able to sign messages correctly the first time, but this schoolboy who bought this account can't even sign a message correctly the first time. They are very conspicuous by these ridiculous mistakes.

My imaginary theory was that the person who took control of the account to make the announcement of his passing may have found a way to exploit the account post mortem.  If they are under control of his account, they may be under control of his addresses too.  They may be looking through his files trying to find the right address to sign as we speak.

But we will see I guess.

1. The original 1miau probably would not have done such a thing - a newbie not understanding how things work may.

2. The death claim is stupid, but not worth mistrust over.  What concerns me is the amount of time it took to sign a message (contacted the seller?) and the ignorance of forum affairs.
