If you're the one who's going to start it, then you should be the one to have ideas and suggestions. What is actually your role here, a recruiter for something you don't know what it's all about?
Give a concrete plan, and do not ask about ideas for the project, or what your capability is like, whether you are a developer, or what your past projects were.
In short, make people believe that you are the right person who can start a project and whom people can trust.
