Having a discretionary income or sourcing discretionary is also part of the plan because we can't talk of accumulating 1 BTC when we don't have a stable source of income or consistent discretionary income. Without having a good plan it may not be possible for long term investors to be able to accumulate bitcoin for a long term. So , long term investors should have a good as per how long they plan to hold and how many bitcoin they plan to accumulate within that period of time. This will not only make them to be focused but it will give them the courage to be able to withstand short term market movement. When there is no set plans of an estimated amount of bitcoin or how long to hold, there is tendency of selling at any time because they may feel that they have accumulated enough bitcoin.
That's correct guy to get an accumulated 1 BTC it requires discipline and a stable source of income to be able to maintain or sustain a good buying consistent strategy, if one lack a good source of income it will be impossible to figure out a good discretionary income to sustain such an accumulation to get that 1 BTC but if there is a good financial ability with time and consistency one will definitely get an accumulated 1 BTC if regular dcaing is been applied and hold for years. Investors can set for themselves a target of accumulating 1BTC in the course of their investment which is not a big problem. But it could prove to be problematic if investors set a particular period of time or years to be able to reach 1BTC because life can be unpredictable. Things change, there could be lost of job, economic downturns and so on which could affect the investors progress towards meeting his timeline for accumulating 1BTC. It is easier said than done, it is better to set sight on accumulating bitcoin regularly with a discretionary income and not to force oneself to meet expectations of 1BTC in a particular period of time.

I don't even see that as a problem for an investor to set a time frame for accumulating 1btc. If it happens they are unable to accumulate or meet there set target within the set timeline, there is always room for them to adjust. Having a set timeline doesn't mean that they must see within that timeline but it will make them to become consistent because they already have in mind a targeted amount they plan to accumulate within a given time. This will make them to be focus and to remain committed towards achieving there long term goal. Accumulating bitcoin without having a target as per the quantity or the timeline you plan to hold can make an investor to sell in a short term due to lack of plan on how long they plan to hold before selling. I believe long term should include a set timeline and the quantity of bitcoin that we plan to have within the set timeline.

If we consistently buy with a Budget of $50 per week, it seems like it will take us almost 32 years to reach 1 BTC. Is that too long to reach 1 BTC? Do we need to budget more Money to reach 1 btc in our portfolio?
Well, if we Buy with a budget of $500 per week, it might only take us 3.5 years to reach 1 BTC.
I think we should calculate how long we will continue buying bitcoin and when we will enjoy it. Because if we are 30 years old, it will take us 32 years to reach 1 BTC with $50 per week. By the time we are 62, We will have 1 BTC. Do you estimate how long You have set aside to buy bitcoin?
The goal is to have as much as you possibly can, not necessarily having 1 BTC, cause on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis, the price of Bitcoin is on the increase, and the more the value of Bitcoin increases, the more it depreciate on the quantity of Satoshi you purchase, meaning the amount of $50 remains stagnant, but the quantity of Satoshi purchased with $50 will continue to reduce over the years. But if possible, maintaining the quantity of Satoshi over the coming years will be ascertained within a stipulated period of time, no matter what the price of Bitcoin will be, just that your investment power will need to increase with the trend.

Established deadlines? Well, that's if there's a regular and reliable income. But what if something goes wrong? In our time, everything changes quite quickly. I'll probably agree on the amount, but I won't be able to agree on the deadlines. We need to have a goal for why we need such an amount; otherwise, mere saving quickly turns into an addiction. There are people who deprive themselves of everything in life in order to get that planned amount. And what happens next? They're afraid to do anything with their capital. I don't know; maybe someone likes it, but we only live once, and by saving on everything, even if we have the desired capital, we won't be able to increase the number of years we have in life or even the health that fades away with each passing year. We don't get younger. Nobody.

I think we shouldn't focus on the time it takes to acquire BTC; we should focus on the process of how we approach it. The best way to do this is by taking advantage of dips and having a fixed BTC accumulation plan, not failing, and keeping a close eye on BTC movements.
What I can say is that right now it's feasible to buy BTC. We're in a very good moment to do so. I can't deny that I'd like to buy a lot of BTC on every pullback, every dip; it's the most advisable thing to do. The timing is the least important thing.
Focusing on how long it takes to acquire Bitcoin can honestly be tiring likewise the process of the approach. Taking advantage of the dip is a good one and saying that it's the best approach simply means investors should be dependent on it but these implies that you didn't take everything into consideration. In one period/time or the other, one investor dip is another investor waiting time, they'll be waiting for a better dip and if waiting for the dip is the best approach, how can an investor have a fixed accumulation plan when the market is the major determinant of their Bitcoin buying? Combo approach by having DCA at the top and always prepared to leverage on the dip through aggressive buying while still DCAing is the best approach for me which I can advise newbies to follow.

The initial goal of accumulating 1BTC may seem like a big amount, but if you can DCA regularly with your discretionary income, it may not be too difficult. If your goal is to accumulate 1BTC within 10 years, it may be possible, but if the price of Bitcoin continues to rise at the same rate as in previous years, it may be impossible for you to reach that target. Setting a specific time frame can be problematic if the price of Bitcoin continues to rise, but there is no need to give up. Try and accumulate Bitcoin regularly, you may even get 1BTC within the time frame you set.

I got my first BTC by selling the download code for a free game that came with one of my GPUs. I think I sold it for 2.6 BTC or something like that. It was a different time for sure. Back then people treated BTC like it was a hot potato. Nobody wanted to hold it very long in fear it would be worthless.
I won't say that today is the same as then, but a lot of people who invest in Bitcoin want to make money as soon as possible and don't feel comfortable keeping it for the long term. The remaining 95% who would never invest in Bitcoin still think the whole thing will collapse sooner or later. You are absolutely right, I use to be in these category of people that think Bitcoin will collapse once I start investing in it, that was why I didn't take it serious then. However, I known better now and I do use what I can afford to lose so in case of anything that happens. Most people want to breeze in and then breeze out once their portfolio is in profit but that can be very risky because it is pure trading and in trading a lot of things are required for someone to have most especially a strategy that will work out 80-90% in order to be profitable in the long time.

Everything depends on how well you plan, so it will be much better when you can plan and, at the same time, achieve exactly the goal, because that is one of the mistakes we are making. We need to understand that it won't be as easy as stated, but some people have plans beyond that. It wasn't easy to get one Bitcoin before, but plans can be made toward it. When you are making such plans, you also need to have emergency funds, and you also need to be disciplined so that you don't wind up spending what you already spent. And you need to put all these things in place so that when you start saving up, you won't go back to spending the money again.

This is a popular saying that goes like this " if you think that education is too expensive, try ignorance". Ignorance is very costly, and it's because of ignorance you miss the opportunity to invest in bitcoin earlier, because if you were not ignorant about Bitcoin, you would have invested in it, and became one of the early investors that became a millionaire through it, so it's a good thing that you are now wiser, or you are now knowledgeable enough to invest in bitcoin without having doubt over it, so cheers for joining the winning team.
