I want to thank all contributors on this forum who have always promote Bitcoin for the past how many years now? There was a time where only small numbers of people knows about Bitcoin but today Bitcoin is well known, thanks for your contribution.

I seek for your attention today because of what's happening in the world right now, I want you to drop your old habit about promoting Bitcoin, from now on Bitcoin will be fine, there is no need to talk or promote Bitcoin anymore.

I could be that India guy working with Binance Exchange going through people's information, and passing it to my group back home, and I can make them go to people's home to forcefully collect some Bitcoin from them, at gun point or using machetes and swords.

I can be that that hacker who doesn't care about stealing from exchanges anymore, but rather prefer to go after exchanges data, KYC information and many others then bring up a dirty group of people who are good at home invasion.

Your missiion is long over fellas, Bitcoin have gotten passed that lack of awareness stage, drop everything and live a silent life, it's for you and your families sake, may we live long enough to enjoy everything we have worked for.

There's a catch. You don't have to reveal yourself in order to promote bitcoin.
You could be that India guy working with Binance Exchange but how would you get my binance profile without me revealing it myself ?
You could be that hacker who steals KYC data from exchanges and then leak it but that can happen with anyone. It does not relate to promoting bitcoin in any way.
But yeah, the point is to stay aware of what you are doing and protect your identity and your coins in all terms.

Every Binance exchange users have to pass KYC verification before using the exchange, even the P2P service that Binance, Bybit, Mexc are operating for users, you can't use them without KYC verification, I remember that Binance needs your NiN or your BVN to pass that verification, many people got it done this way.

A bitcoin investor needs to be smart,  directly it has nothing to do with Bitcoin but indirectly, the stupidity of not taking decentralisation very seriously was what makes someone to submit those vital information for a centralised exchange in the first place, it's still all bout getting that wrench attack either ways.

I also think promoting BTC is currently dangerous if we promote it without prioritizing anonymity. However, if we are anonymous, as is the case in this forum, I think it's safe because by not revealing our identity, we are certainly potentially safe. However, we must always be vigilant to avoid becoming victims of theft or robbery.

But if you think about it, many people are aware of BTC now, so it would be better to be careful, especially in the real world. The high price of BTC can make even people with small amounts of BTC become the target of robbers or thieves. But now, even though it's not being promoted, many people already know about BTC. There is definitely a need for Bitcoin promotion, where we are spreading this message to different people by promoting Bitcoin and they are participating in Bitcoin investment. If we compare from the last bull season to this season i.e. till 2025, then you will definitely understand how much the price has changed in these few years. Proper dumb post. You can always promote BTC and any other cryptocurrency for that matter without disclosing your identity in an anonymous manner which pretty much nullifies your entire post op. Wrench attacks are hardly surprising and can be avoided.

They are just like robbing people of their gold, FIAT etc. Use your head wisely(multi-sig wallets, withdrawal limits, trying your best to stay anonymous etc) people.

Asking people to stop promoting bitcoin for these few reasons you just mentioned doesn't really seat well with me, because there are other ways people can promote bitcoin without revealing to people that you personally hold a large amount of bitcoin in your custodial wallets.

So, instead of saying that you hold bitcoin focus on educating people about bitcoin, say things like how bitcoin works, why self custody matters and some common mistakes beginners makes. also avoid saying phrase like this is how I store my own bitcoin, say this instead if you don't want to lose your bitcoin backup your seed phrase and store them in a safe place where no one can ably reach them.

Tell them the difference between hardware wallets and software wallets, and advise them on the one to use for their long term holding and the one to use for daily transactions, and many more without personally telling them that you hold bitcoin.

I like the attention of your post, and you are promoting a good message for the safety of every crypto space holder, investor, or trader. No doubt again you are doing very well by spreading your attention to the message here, but additionality i would say that we should not stop here, we should keep promoting it in an indirect way where we can make sure we are safe, and we are not exposing our identity while promoting it anywhere. Since the rate of wrent attack cases is increasing, we should not promote it directly by discussing it in the physical world.

What we can still contribute to this space promotion is that we can create an account on social media, and in this, we should not expose any personal information, and we should just keep educating the new generation about this space adoption benefits. Getting my point here? Well, this is my point of view, and if you think I am wrong, then I would love to get some additional ideas on this.

99% of presidents have nothing to do with Bitcoin - do you think all presidents have the same powers as Bukele or that cowboy who thinks the whole world is his playground? Oh wow! There is some guy on the loose,,, I haven’t heard of that. Why haven’t I heard of that! Seems I’m living in the cavemen era these days.

Anyway, there aren’t really those that are promoting Bitcoin just because they want people to get in. People eventually talk to other people and should the subject come up, they are open to gains these discussions.

If this be the case of some guy using their insider information to go look people up, not taking about it but using an exchange wouldn’t shield you from that.

You’re not really right about some things. As we know, this forum is completely anonymous, and promoting bitcoin here is more than fine. Why would that be so dangerous? You can not ask other people do similarly like what you're doing because people have different knowledge as well as viewpoint and mindset on the same thing. Like your business with Bitcoin years ago.
So far so good with Bitcoin adoption on my side but I have question.
You did that even it's risky and you ignored warning about risk to accept Bitcoin at your small business as well as education to other people about Bitcoin.

It's the same with your warning to the others.
For my own safety, I quit. There are people who listen to your warning and take care of their safety with similar careful action but there are certainly people who will ignore your reminders.
