I often compare prices on computer components and mining equipment because I can often find a good deal. If you compare prices for 1 kilogram of dumplings in different stores, you can get them for $4, but there won't be any meat there, and good dumplings for $20. But I usually choose something in the middle.

There’s already thrift store available in my country that offers the cheapest price because they have low operating cost with less manpower and air conditioning.

With how things are going in this economy, no one has to be told to always do price comparison before purchasing something, especially in my own country. If as a person you’re ashamed of going to shops to compare prices then you should have a lot of money haha.
Because as long as it’s the same product and you can find a seller that is selling it way cheaper than others, then you should definitely purchase for the seller selling lower.

Bro, I want to ask a very small question from you, but I am sure that this will be kind of relatable, maybe. Have you been doing dropshipping? Like buying from one place to sell on another marketplace? Because I am kind of familiar with such kind of conditon very well. As I have been doing dropshipping since 2022, and I am not doing it yet. So that is why in those days I tended to move to those marketplaces where I got cheaper products. So, this is why i am asking such kind of question.

Other than this, i am kind of little sure that those who buy stuff online don't have much time to check the price on different marketplaces beaceu they already buying online so that they can save thier time to do thier other daily basis tasks. Maybe very less do like who check the price of the same product on different marketplaces to save paying exra cost. My wife can handle the stress of moving from one shop to another,, trying to compare prices. She wouldn't consider the energy and sometimes the transport cost you are spending to get that cheaper one. For me, I would be willing to endure the stress of searching for a cheaper one if the difference is substantial. But trying to get discounts of an insignificant amount while wasting time is not worth it.

In my country the open market or wholesallers offer the best deals. Supermarkets and shops prices are higher. In an open market, you can negotiate and get the best price.

The truth about these is that, it consumes more of your time unless before you go to buy any item you make enquiry how much they are being sold but even though you do thatz the price of what you want to purchase might also change in the market not because anybigvtjsoe shop owners wants to cheat you, but because of price change, if you're some oke that have the time to move around, you might be lucky to get those things at a lower price in different shops, there are pieces go you will observe that they don't have a uniform price, if you try to ask like 2 shops for example, you will get 20 different prices, in my country things like that happens, so if you can do your comparison before buying fine if you can't, fine too since it is your money and your decision to make.

Honestly speaking, yes, I do a lot of comparison on the product price I want to purchase either in the shop or in the market. Because, a lot  of sellers that are selling in the market or shop wants to be rich overnight. And you see that some sellers purposely increase the prices of there goods. So, the reason I compare shop A and B is because shop A might be selling a particular product for 10k why shop B with the same product will be selling for 7k, so you can see that shop A is making an extra gain of 3k which is not really welcome.

So to me, when purchasing any goods I do a proper investigation on the price of the product.

I think that comparing prices or looking for the cheapest price on an item is a common practice for people, especially those who are married, where even a few cents can make a difference.

For me my self, price comparison is important especially for daily needed for middle class, lower class income and also for interests of small and medium enterprises or home businesses, considering the frequency and items, small price differences are very significant for survival strategy. What many poor family don't realize their daily habit do shopping on smaller package actually more expensive, even we know that they do this because limitation of cashflow to cover all daily needs monthly they depend on daily income. Moving from shop to shop within or outside the market to compare the price of goods is not an abomination as long as the product worth purchasing in lower price, especially if it meets your requirements and possess the quality. It is really important to cut down your expenses to ensure that you are preventing yourself from financial problems. Spending lavishly has more disadvantages than the advantages, but some people/ individual fail to understand that, until they are cut in the middle of financial instability. Yes, it is a very good idea, as people should always try to compare the prices of goods. But let me say that it all depends on the kind of stuff a person wants to buy and the time such a person has. This is because there are some people who are always busy, and if they have to spend too much time doing surveys and comparing prices of what they want to buy, they may lose some opportunities. So, it would be better for them to just stick to one reliable place unless the person is a businessperson who buys in large quantities to sell and set their own price.

In fact, most times when I go to the market to buy some goods and compare prices, the difference is usually very small, and the stress of moving around is not really worth it. So, I just stick to one shop and buy whatever I want. The only reason I would compare prices is when I get to a community I am not familiar with. I think its the right thing to do, to compare prices from different shops to come up with the best buy and best reasonable price. But honestly, I don't intend to look for the cheapest price since most of them comes with cheapest quality as well. When I buy in our local stores, I don't really compare prices since I usually go to my favorite store. But when purchasing online, the fact that I have not seen their physical stores or get to see their items what it really looks like, I think price comparison should really be done and should serve its purpose. Yes, of course I care!  Honestly, if someone says they dont care about hunting for the best deal on price then that person probably has too much money or far too little time to care about saving.

I am the type of consumer that will have three different tabs open on my browser before I make a purchase.  I also do this when shopping in person.  As you mentioned, these small price differences may only be a few dollars, but they add up quickly (within a year).  It isnot just about being "cheap", but rather it is about being smart with our money!

No matter how wealthy one seems one should be conscious of how they spend , prices of a product tends to be difference  in various shops , so comparison of prices is also a smart move . Though sometimes it can be stressful to move from one shop to another , but sometimes if not most time it does worth it .

While sometimes I just order online from online shopping platforms, there are can reach out to many merchants without even stressing myself to walk around , I just have to scroll and be comparing prices and products quality.
