It depends on how much product I'm buying if it's just common daily necessities like oil, sugar, rice, etc. I’ll look for a cheaper store since I know where it is around my place but that doesn’t mean low quality. Different stores can have different prices and while the difference may not seem big but for the long term, it can be felt. However, if I’m buying things like vegetables, baby products, fresh fish, plus all above, I prefer to get everything in one place that provide all my needs because moving to another store wouldn’t be worth the effort.

To save yourself from moving from one shop to another, you can go to supermarkets where the prices of the goods are tagged. Some of these supermarkets sell at wholesale prices. There are also online shops that offer some of the best prices. Please, I am not against people comparing prices from different sellers if you have the time. But my argument is that it could be time-consuming, especially if you have a very tight schedule.

To be honest, I think most people don't usually stress themselves about any price, especially the rich people because they can afford to get want they want. It is obvious that most of the poor ones can never purchase any product without a proper confirmation from other shops and know which side is more preferable for them, and we can never blame them because they are doing according to their budget. But the truth is that there is no way you will go round the community because of a little difference, so sometimes people need to let go of some unimportant things and move on.

Is not this the standard if we are purchasing?  In order to maximize our purchasing power, we need to compare the prices between stores.  Store owners are not the same, other are exploiters while others are honest traders.  One example is stalls in public market.  Those who are place on the entrance of the market often have higher prices since they have more exposure and they are the first one on the line while those who are placed far from entrance often have lower price.  Most people are lazy to look for other source of the item once they saw one already.  This is what those greedy sellers are exploiting.

Even those placed in online store have different prices too, so if we don't compare prices, we might end up paying overcharged items.

Price range exist in most items, I don't go around shops pricing before I get one unless it's not available in that market. If I go to buy I don't price because price are written on each items on the shelf, if I see that the price is above the price range, I will quietly leave the place for another place because that's extortion, some business owners are not good with sells and this is why most of their products stay months in their shops without buyers.

You can always visit super market to buy all you need and this isn't even aesthetic or picky, it saves you from buying a counterfeit goods from the shops. Imagine been sold a fake product because you see it was cheaper than the price the super market are selling. Instead of buying cheap and regret later, look for a good vendor that is reliable, take what you want and pay, you may also deal with wholesalers, they sell to you at price that is cheap if that's what you want.

To make the purchase at the best price, my choice of buying is reaching out to the store and comparing it with the online marketplace. If I find the online price cheaper for the same product, I'll add to the cart. If not, I'll buy it from the store. The best part is we don't know which online platform provides the best price. As of now there are no additional charges levied on the purchase, so the added fee or something doesn't affect it. I have done that in the past and I still do it most times,  but due to how the price of things are inflated every single day, I don't just argue with price anymore because in my country, crude products like fuel and desiel are adding prices daily, and because of that, it's reflecting on goods and services since businesses rely on them for constant electricity and transportation of goods and services, so things are adding up everyday.

Sometimes it isn't as if the owner of the store whose goods price is higher is trying to cheat you maybe it's because the quality of his own goods has superior quality than what the other store sales. When you compare prices try and check if the goods are of the same quality with the others. The quality of a particular goods always reflect in the price and the store you compare prices may have show you the same goods but lower quality. The quality of a product or goods is what matter, even if the price is higher try and purchase it because of the quality. if you don't have the resources then you can opt for a lower quality according to your budget.

I compare product prices, but I cant say that I am moving from shop to shop (it only sounds complicated) or spending a lot of time on it. Regards food, it isnt hard to do, as I think everyone has that webpage that collect all weekly discounts from food retail store. All you have to do is to scroll down brochures, select what you want, then go to food retail stores app, select food and order delivery. Buying electronics is also easy, there are numerous webpages that compare prices. All you need to do is to click on picture, get redirected and order everything online. With clothing it is a bit complicated, as you there are moments when you need to try them on. In my case, when I go shopping for clothes, I dont go buy everything I need at once or in sets. If I need new shoes, I go to mall, run around few shops to look for exact model I want, then quickly compare prices and ask for my size.

I agree with you on that, making multiple confirmation before purchasing of any product is a good practice as it will help save cost and get a quality product before making purchase.
I still cannot forget what happened some weeks ago when I want to purchase a device,  with confidence and believe that all shop sells at equal price is purchased a product without knowing that other shops where selling below that specific price.

At this point there are comparison websites directly. You enter an item, and it shows you where it is the cheapest. Of course you have to be careful because at some point there are places which are scam, so if amazon is next cheapest and just like 3-5% higher price, you prefer that because you know you are not getting scammed compared to some weird website done with wordpress.

But yeah, those comparison websites are great, you enter the item that you want to buy, the name of it, and it shows you a list of many places and you get to choose from it. It even has the "brand new /second hand" type of things so you can filter it like that, sometimes getting some stuff second hand is not bad, like ebay and such, you can do that.

Comparing prices is crucial for budget efficiency. By this way, our budget will be optimized and we can save money.

Personally, I often do this when I want to buy a particular product, and I often benefit from the price differences. Even buying a small amount of a product can be quite profitable by doing "price comparison", let alone buying a large amount (more profitable). I think in traditional markets, there are often quite different price differences, and I also think it is necessary to bargain to find the lowest price they can afford. However, in modern markets, as far as I know, bargaining is not possible, so we can only compare prices by checking the listed prices.

Sometimes I move from shop to shop looking for a more cheaper goods to buy, not that I don't have the money to afford it, but just that I am being financially minded as not to over spend. Sometimes when I feel the stress of moving to and fro looking for that small price discount I just get tired and accept the price even if it's too high just to save time when there is no time. So it is done when I have time for it, but when I am too engaged I don't try doing it.
