I think price compare is an important aspect of economics that would likely benefit people who buy a product in large quantity, or regularly in small quantity. The difference in price, no matter how small could add up to a sizable amount when the product is bought in many quantities at once or overtime.  People tend to overlook this,  probably because they don't have the desire to move around or don't care how much they spend. In the case of the former, it would be nice to have a service or place they can go to obtain this info or compare prices.  I'm certain this already exist online such as one or few places in cryptocurrency world, but could be abit difficult to be replicated properly in physical world

Sometimes I still compare prices in different shops before purchasing a product but I mostly do it on Whiskey or some expensive things, not on everyday groceries unless there is a 50% discount or something like that.
Honestly, I hugely dislike this habit of comparing prices because it tells more about your life. To my mind, if you compare prices, it means that your life is financially very bad and it shouldn't become your habit, instead, you should forget comparing prices, pay more and focus on the fact that your money isn't enough for your needs and it should give you a motivation to work harder, work more and earn more and reach the point where you will no longer look at the product prices.

I often do this when buying any product. I think that before buying a product  you should check a few stores . because the price and quality of the product vary from store to store. Naturally  everyone will want to buy from where the product is cheaper. However  I do not like spending extra time for a small saving. It is true that if you pay attention to small differences, then small savings turn into big numbers. However, many people only look for a low price. However, many times, while looking for a small saving, there may be a possibility of buying fake products. I have also faced such incidents many times. Where they are offering fake products at low prices, especially in the case of cosmetic products, I have faced fakes many times.

Seeing the current economic conditions, this must be the case, shop A and shop B are a consideration when buying a product, of course considering the price.

In my area there are several shops that sell products that are much more expensive than other shops, but I saw that the shop was closed, I asked one of my neighbors, the answer was that there were no buyers.

So, competition is currently very much taken into account, considering that current economic income is very different from what was expected, people are aware of how valuable fiat is currently for determining a product.

Truly that's very much like me .. I love doing a kind of comparison before purchasing a particular product, both online and even offline... And after the comparison, I eventually go with the lower price.. I mostly do this when I want to board a taxi or say when I want to purchase something from the market...But then again, most often especially when it concerns perishable goods... What I noticed about vendors who are into this is that if their perishable inventory are about to spoil or say lose it value, they always reduce the price so that they could be able to selling it out to desperate customers in search of cheaper commodities... And so the idea of folks chasing after cheaper products by the node of comparison, isn't always the best... Since they could very well end up buying either counterfeit or expired commodity...

I think I am among those people that really don't care about going to different shop to compare prices before making a purchase.  I think it's a good thing to compare prices,  because with this you have an idea of the cost of the commodity.  Some sellers take advantage of buyers when they realize that you don't know the price of the commodity. In my case I might say it's just little different,  but sometimes when I try other shop I then realize that they have been inflating the price for me. I think it's good to compare prices, so they don't take advantage of you.

Before buying anything from a shop or market, it is better to check the price with the shopkeeper because there are many shopkeepers who ask for a higher price for any product if they see it from a familiar or unfamiliar person. Therefore, if you know the price, it is better to check and buy from the shop or market. When I see something online, if I get it in a shop or a supermarket, I definitely check and buy from there because many things are priced much higher online. Therefore, before buying anything, you should definitely check its price, which I do constantly.

This is why most of the time i prefer going to a supermarket to get stuffs because most of the items they sell there have price tags such that anything that you are picking you've already seen the price and one of the benefits is that even if the price of things have skyrocketed in the general market you won't see those supermarket updating the prices except if they restocked newly. I don't go about shop to shop comparing prices but if i found out a particular shop that sells things at a costlier price than others, i automatically stop going to that shop. However, it's mostly poor people that moves around looking for where they can buy things at cheap prices but the rich guys don't care how much they buy things, what they are interested in is the quality or originality and not the price involved.

A lot of people think that bargaining makes others think less of them but that's just a stupid way of thinking because even the richest people compare prices before purchasing anything. People that are not even rich are the ones that worry about what others think about them. If you worked hard for your Money you wouldn't spend carelessly, comparing prices is important because most people might sell a a particular product times 3 of the original amount and if you don't find out from other sources you might just get cheated and it's your loss.

Doing a market survey is very important but then before you decide to do that you have to make sure you already know the price of things or you have an idea so that you don't get misled because if you decide to go from one shop to another and the sellers notice that all you are doing is observing them they can collectively come together to increase the price of their goods to a particular standard to try to cheat you as I have observed some market sellers do this to people when they are new to the area. I once saw visitors who are foreigners in my country being cheated because they have no idea what the price of the goods they are trying to buy was. People that are wealthy don't usually care about the price of things that much they know the value of their time hence they either send people to do this survey for them or they just buy and go on with their life what they are mostly concerned about is making more money instead of thinking about how to spend less.

Why buy from a more expensive place when you can get more products for the same price? Either you are wealthy and do shopping without looking on the price tag, or you have favorite stores where you know more or less their prices, or sadly your shopping in physical shops inst as effective as it might be. If you go to large food store then I agree, there is no you to write down or remember prices and go to other shop to compare them. But if you go shopping for clothes for example. Usually there are several shops located in one place that offer same quality and design clothes. Why not spend few minutes to visit other shop and compare price, since you are in the area where several of them located.

It is always the best decision to compare price before you make an order especially on online stores of recent i bought a device that I have been admiring for a while now but before I made my final decision I had to check the two active online stores to compare their price and one was cheaper than the other one with a huge difference because they where running some bonuses. Though the online store  with bonuses used to be my favorite because of their reputation but because of that huge price difference I had to give this other one a try and they did delivered the product in one piece and full functionality and that helped me to save cost.

Usually I check up multiple delivery services before I order the groceries. But food that I am ordering online which I limit to 1/month, I usually am not that picky.

For electronics, I do a lot of research before I buy it. Indeed that would include checking local online markets and amazon, obviously the local ones are having the same object at lower price than amazon.

I would say that if you did, you would realize how much it matters on the long run. Because you do not realize it, but if you weekly spend less say just 20 dollars less, in a year that is more than 1000 dollars, and suddenly it becomes a lot bigger news. And I mean that's just groceries, if you compare everything at everywhere, and try to find something that is basically just a situation where you are handling everything as a frugal person by getting the cheapest options, then suddenly you are going to have a lot more without a doubt, not day by day, but long term.

If it's an online shop, I might consider comparing prices from one to another, as there's usually a lower price on one platform, sometimes even a 10-15% difference. But for offline shopping, I don't really compare prices from other stores because it's a hassle. Usually, to target a cheaper price, I'll buy from a wholesaler, but that's only for items I regularly use in larger quantities. Besides the lower price, if you buy from them, you usually get points that can be exchanged for other products.

Definitely, I do compare prices from different shops before purchasing anything no matter or little quantity it will be, I called it market survey sometimes is not just because I don't have money to buy the products but in this errand we are in now people can't even justify for the products they sell, but just rather what they are willing to gain at the end of the day not looking at the hard situation people are into now, seriously is not easy for the people now to sustain for their selfs.

Exploring the market will give you more insight how products are sells at that particular period at the shops or market,  and Definitely everyone will want to go for a cheaper rates and doing so you have get to pocket in some of your tokens and save for more products to be purchase.

Also I felt doing that I have reduce a pressure for other customer that will want to purchase some items in a particular shop  by not buying there high products in such high prices and rather will go to where they could get a better and cheaper prices, doing so they will be loosing customers for other people with same products and having same quality as theirs, one day I believe they will understood that market doesn't run that way and it will give them no choice than to reduce the price of there products too and stop such wicked act of sales.

It's easier to do the comparison in online shops because by searching one product, different shops will come out and you'll have them on one page to compare. As for the actual brick and mortar stores, you'll need to exert effort in doing it because you'll go from place to place but usually in the market places, the stalls or shops are placed in the same place which are selling the same products and that makes it easy for the shoppers.
