No matter the amount of wealth that is being transferred to someone, if you don’t work hard to maintain that wealth, the money will surely finish and that person will start from square one.
Wealth will only last if you keep multiplying it, you keep increasing it, but if it is just constant and one keeps spending, it will surely get finished. All I can say is that hard work pays, even the richest man still works hard to make more money for the future. Money can never satisfy anyone, we keep wanting more and so therefore you need to get to work to build more wealth, it must not be physical work, but something meaningful with a creative mindset you invest your money in to generate more money, which is also working with your brain.
I have seen many people whose fathers left many things for them, but they couldn't maintain it and everything just vanished like that, due to the fact that they were not hard working. Especially the children of nowadays, they don't usually work hard at all. That's why they always end up back at square one when their father is no longer with them, without remembering that it was the hard work of the father that made him wealthy. So it is very important to start planning yourself when you are still young, and know that you can only secure wealth through hard work.

Things changed, before people do rely on hard work to earn and survive, but recently the inflation rate is very high, more expense makes hardwork seem like a waste of time and effort especially when the reward is less than the effort so to survive people need to work smart, by using their money to get more money and how can that be done if not through investment, not just that but investing in an asset with potential for good returns.

If you observe the wealthy people you'll notice that they maintain their wealth through assets be it digital or physical, and it takes a process not something that quick profits should be expected from so if someone seeking wealth can strategise in gradually buying assets consistently with little amount that's available, wealth can be made in future.

Securing the future is very essential despite the situation of the economy. Rich people are smart and that’s why they always think about the stability of their upcoming generations, but that shouldn't warrant the leaders to take advantage of the poor. Till date people still rely on hard work to survive, but if not that I wonder how many people will survive this current economic situation. Lazy people cannot survive this economy, because if you don't work there is no you will be stable unless you're depending on someone.
Rich people would always do things for the future, should in case they’re not there anymore so the family can live a better life, but most rich people wouldn’t care about the poor until they archive what they want, they wouldn’t stop to take innocent life’s until they achieve what they want most especially in African countries, the rich will always take advantage of the poor masses.
Sometimes I ask myself if hard work is enough, I think working smart is more important, with the economy of most countries now, people are struggling to survive now, so lazy people are always going to find it difficult in what they’re doing to survive.

Those richest men, do you think they are not hardworking people? If you can know what they are doing throughout the day in one week, you will see how they are also working hard.

There will be some rich people that do not sleep fast just because they want everything to be in good sharp for their businesses not to turn into something they will not like.

I understand your point because those that work most are not rich or not rich up to wealthy people, intelligence is very important if you want to make money, but hardwork is a necessity if you want to make it in life.
Most people tend to forget that, for a job to be done, there are those who have to bear the physical load, those that have to carry the mental load and there are those that have to also carry the financial load and trust me, most of these rich men are carrying both the financial and mental load for a work to be done and simply because it's not visible doesn't mean they are lazy and I also agree with you that, most of them don't sleep early because they are always think about how to get the job done effectively.

I so understand the concept of smart work which is the mental job but I believe mental work are even more draining than the physical ones.

Elon is probably the best realworld example. He has said that there was a time when he worked 120h/week, and after burning himself out, he had to cut that down to around 80-90 hours.

Even one of the richest men in the world, with a net worth of $1T, still works extremely hard and shows no sign of slowing down. Yet it is surprising how naive some people are to believe that working smart is enough and hard work is not necessary for success.

Hard work does not guarantee success, but its one of the thing you need if we want to succeed.

Some people just believe that, for the fact that you don't see someone working doesn't mean they aren't working and this generation is truly confusing smart work and hard work and just because someone is working tirelessly doesn't mean they are not smart and just because someone chooses to do things in a more easier way doesn't also mean they're not hard working and this generation just believes only those working remotely are the ones working smartly forgetting that, you can be working remotely and not be getting the desired results because you aren't hardworking enough when when being smart.

There is also the following point here. I do not know how it is in other countries, but in Ukraine most jobs used to be carried out under rather unfavorable conditions. At workplaces, there was no basic provision, it was dirty, dark, salaries were delayed, sometimes for months. Plus, it was extremely small. Now my generation has the opportunity to work not only for the local market, and therefore our demands have become higher. And when they are satisfied (and this is difficult, but not impossible), a person feels much better. And they can still perform difficult, responsible work, but will not be as drained as their parents at the same time, because the very conditions of their work + the finally emerging semblance of benefits packages make their life better, brighter, and more positive. And therefore, they come home from work not wildly tired, angry, and with the feeling that they were cheated, but with the thought that besides work, there is another life that they have the opportunity to live.

Hardwork might make a person rich but there is no guarantee that this is going to work for eveyone, one of the ways to make money in this generation is working smart and that's done by taking advantage of Ai, crypto, and having digital skills that can give you leverage. You can work multiple jobs and do this tirelessly and at the end of the day you are going to be struggling financially. Most people that work smart are seen as the unserious and jobless ones, imagine someone that works a 9 to 5 calling someone that's invests in crypto and is into web 3 a broke or unemployed person. working hard doesn't guarantee wealth if it does a lot of hardworking people would have been millionaires now.

Especially the children of nowadays, they don't usually work hard at all. So it is very important to start planning yourself when you are still young, and know that you can only secure wealth through hard work.
actually I think every boy should have the mentality of being known for his own identity, not worrying about what his family has and what he will inherit, but rather achieving everything himself. If someone can develop this kind of mentality, then he will be able to hold on to everything. When he earns money by himself, he will pay a different price for money, which will prevent him from unnecessary activities. The mentality should be right, money can be earned, but holding on to it is the main thing, in this case, only those who can hold themselves very tightly will achieve success in life. Otherwise, whatever you get through inheritance, if you cannot hold on to it through proper management, at some point you will have nothing left, and then you will face the real reality.

You’re very right, some people inherit many things from their parents but because they ain’t hard working or know how to manage it properly, Everything can disappear. Wealth that people can’t manage very well can’t last forever.

That’s why young people are suppose to learn how to be hard working and also how to manage money from an early age. What our parents built through years of hard work, we are suppose to protect it and build our own future.

One major reason I'm always grateful for the power of internet is the seamless possibilities of connecting with people globally as well as the ability for people to work remotely and still take charge of their time for other things
Internet have given people more opportunities especially financial opportunities and what I am trying to say in conclusion is that, to achieve a more proficient results, both hard work and smart work would be needed for optimal results

So it is very important to start planning yourself when you are still young, and know that you can only secure wealth through hard work.
actually I think every boy should have the mentality of being known for his own identity, not worrying about what his family has and what he will inherit, but rather achieving everything himself.
There is reality in your words. When someone earns money through their own hard work, they understand the value of their income. Even spending more than necessary often feels bad. This helps us control our expenses and save. Even earning money through our own hard work increases our skills, sense of responsibility and also creates experience. But when we only depend on what is in the family, what our parents will leave us or what we will get as an inheritance, our skills, sense of responsibility and practical experience are not developed. Rather, they often make us lazy. Later, when we lose everything, it becomes quite difficult to rise from there with a strong mentality.

Inflation has increased so much in recent times that it is difficult to live with a fixed income. If someone spends without planning properly, that is, spends unnecessarily and does not pay attention to the matter of savings, then his life will be even more miserable. In this situation, there is no other way but to increase multiple incomes. If a person can increase his income in a business or in some other way along with a job, then he will be able to survive in this situation. If the financial situation is bad from the beginning, then a person will have to be more diligent. He has to work hard and save as much as possible and later, if he wants, he can increase his income by starting a small business with that money.

Job means being within limitations. In most cases, no matter how good a job a person does, it is not very satisfying for him. If he wants to independently meet his necessary expenses and needs, he must find additional income source.

If only it was as easy as it sounds. But unfortunately, it's not. Because employers these days are very demanding. The AI boom is to blame. With a tight labor market, you'd be lucky if you can get at least one job. Unlike the old days, job security is getting hard to find. I guess that's why many people decided to become their own boss. We're seeing a wave of influencers, analysts, and consultants taking the world by storm. With AI threatening to take away your job, this may become the new normal. Better "go with the flow", I guess.

Yes, I also greatly appreciate the opportunity to work remotely, because it opens doors that were simply always closed for residents of many countries. And it often even happens that you are a specialist in a field that is completely undeveloped in your country, or is paid much less for than in other locations. Therefore, it is very valuable to have access to better opportunities and professional circles. At the same time, such opportunities themselves do not guarantee wealth. They do not even guarantee that you personally will manage to take advantage of them. But it is better when they exist, because then at least there is something to strive for.

Remote work has actually made it possible for so many people to work with companies and interact with different expects from different countries without relocating or changing location and it has been very helpful and has also made a big difference most especially when the local market does not actually value your skills and personally i also think our personal effort matters a lot for example two people can have access to the same opportunity, but their results can be completely different and it’s based on or depending on how they use it, how willing they are to learn, and how focus they can be to achieve it.

In my country, more than half of citizens have no savings at all. They live paycheck to paycheck. Almost half of residents also have one or more loans. The question is: What kind of initial capital can we even talk about in such a dire situation? How can they climb out of this financial abyss? Will they ever be able to do so? And the economic situation is worsening daily due to sanctions. Frankly, I'm terrified of the looming future. There's no light at the end of the tunnel. I don't even know what to do anymore.
That is a really tough situation to be in, but having a clear plan is the first essential step. When an economy leaves most people living paycheck to paycheck and trapped in debt cycles, getting any meaningful liquidity feels almost impossible.

My main advice would be to strictly avoid taking on high-interest loans. If you must use credit, make sure it's structured financing where you commit to paying off each installment systematically without overspending beyond your means. That alone can give you some much-needed breathing room.

As soon as you manage to free up even a tiny fraction of capital, don't hesitate to start accumulating Bitcoin. Implementing a disciplined (DCA) strategy is key here the starting amount doesn't matter as much as consistency and sticking to the plan until you regain your financial footing.

If hard work was really the deal breaker alot of hustler in the street would have been some of the richest in the world but No! It doesn't work that way. Wealth or riches are built with information and resources. Resources like money, power, relationships.... so if anyone really wants to become wealthy they should learn how to think smart and not just thinking smart, they should also learn hoe to execute their thought productively. Some people have the problem of learning so much without executing anything that they learnt.

Biggest thing Elon has done is take gigantic risks that should or could have broken his fortune and investment, somehow he pulled it off and in emerging industries that just were turned into profit somehow.   Also most people when they get rich they can lose motivation to perform just as well, money can even destroy some altogether.

I've worked 92 hours in a physical job, it didn't make me rich.  I was mostly better off as I literally had no time left to spend it and I lived in an awful cheap cold place so being in work ironically kept me warm and fed, otherwise I never gained especially much like OP title.
The longest shift I worked was waking before 7am to get into work and I didnt finish and get home till past 4am the next day, thats so ridiculous I expect no one to believe it but they had missing staff and paid me multiples of the base rate; most jobs never do this.
The only more extreme job I heard of is a 24hr shift job, rush order for advertising in a print factory; you would not leave that machine for an entire day.  Again they did far more then double rates and paid holiday for those men that volunteered.  Sadly none of this makes you rich but its useful money at the time.

In fact with these hours if you seriously put in double shifts all the time, you will drop down dead or with serious health problems.  If your body can't rest, it will wreck you and I can testify it certainly felt that way with every sore bone and joint in my body I felt like an old man at age 20.
Biggest gift is that job gave me sight of my own future and how hard life can be, always try to avoid wasting money when it was that hard to get it.

How Elon survived and I can believe those hours, he deducted nothing for breaks as no doubt he read notes while eating etc.   Also clearly the man loves what he does which is essential, very few find work they truly align with.  Hence a bad job doubles the load on your back when you hate it.

You are right. Along with hard work, it has to be done smartly. Nowadays, many difficult tasks can be done very easily in less time without anyone's help with AI and other skills. Now everyone should complete any type of task in less time and with less effort. Now, whoever can finish the task in less time will get extra time to focus on other tasks or think about other business or investment work. And at this time, instead of wasting extra time on physically working or looking for a job, should focus on online freelancing, it gives more benefit. Because you must have seen that many people in poor countries remain unemployed without getting a job and waste time searching for a job day after day. But if he spent this time on skill development, if he tried freelancing himself, if he tried to do a remote job online, then he could have earned some income.
