There is no strategy that guarantees you will win consistently in sports betting. Even betting on favourites like 1.4 - 1.7 odds does not mean you will profit. Those odds are small, so one or two losses can wipe out many small wins. You might win 5 bets in a row with small profit, then lose one match and everything you gained is gone. Some people try to be more selective, bet less often and manage their money better, but even that does not remove the risk. You just can't outsmart the system even if you use all the logic at your disposal.

Honestly, there is no guaranteed strategy in betting that will be able to give u consistent profit, best thing to do is try to always minimize ur losses.

U said u do bet on favorite teams and not the best teams, and maybe that's y u've been loosing. Unless u meant favorite team to win among d two teams playing, then again that's subjective. Just don't over bet, do thorough analysis, have proper money management, den u'll probably be good, again, not guaranteed and NFA

If you are a sports bettor that is experienced you would realize that there is no strategy that can put you in profit consistently, a lot of bettors get lucky and probably have a winning streak and they start thinking that they have a system that works constantly but that's not really accurate because the system wasn't designed for anyone to win everytime. Am afraid if you continue this particular way you're going you may end up losing all your money on gamble and even get addicted if not careful. Perhaps you must  have be told that nothing is certain in gamble and the least you can do to help yourself is to stake with what you can afford to lose to avoid all this unnecessary drama you are putting out here. Even though strategy pull the scale slightly in our favour sometimes but not alway guaranteed, luck still have to come in to make things work for us. Therefore, I will advise you get rid of the desperate mindset in you and learn to accept things the way they are. Furthermore, most times when we keep on expecting more from the game and is not coming as expected, this instigate chasing of lost, aggressiveness in staking power and so on, and when things take this turn then the outcome wouldn't be friendly to you.

That's very true. we have skilled base games, luck base games, and some games are a combination of both. games like blackjack and poker are mostly skill based because winning in those games is dependent on how good and experirnced you are, and also how you are able to read your opponent and predict their next moves, so in these kind of games, you basically need little to no amount of luck. Then coming to games like roulette, slot, plinko and dice throwing, these ones are 100% luck based, you literally don't need skill here, all you need is luck all the way. and then games like sports, your skills only give you an advantage, but winning still depends on luck.

I have already tried that betting on favourites strategy and ended up in the negative as well, and my conclusion is that this is not even a strategy to be honest.
And like I believe some or most people would have said, there are no strategy in sports betting that does guarantee winnings so consistently that will leave in you profit by the end of the month, such strategy does not exist anywhere, because if it does, I have no doubt that several sports betting casinos would be sent packing every now and then due to too much winnings that lead to bankruptcy.

Whether we like it or not, believe it or not, luck is still a major determinant of whether we end up the month in a losing state or winning state by the end of every month from sports betting, this is because we can only predict, we do not go into the field to play the match ourselves, and as long as we are only betting and other who don't even know us are the ones playing the match, rest assured that we will need to be lucky to win.

I don't know if any good one is there at all. I feel like anything that involves raw luck barely has any strategy that gives you guaranteed returns. Maybe what I have mostly heard of is risk management strategies, which give you a chance for another day to fight instead of blowing up your account after a few bad bets.

That's exactly the way it is. You just have to highly skilled and very lucky.

I don't know why, but everytime one talks about strategy in sports betting, what rings immediately in my head is the 'Martingale', which is as useless as the head that believes in it.

What I used to go for would just be over/under 2.5 goals with an odd at least close to 2.0. It's much easier to win (it's either over 2.5 or under 2.5 goals) vs full-time result bets, which have three betting options, but even then I kept losing at times  .

I may have a strategy that works for me and if I use that strategy consistently it can give me profit although the profit might not come every time but on an average I am making a profit, if something like that works for me then I can say I have a bet strategy that I use and it works perfectly for me. I won't say there are no gamblers that have their own strategy because we know that many gamblers claim to have their different strategy that works for them and since they are still gambling for a very long time right now that means something could have been working for them and that is why they are still playing.

Everybody tries their best to work at something that gives them some edge over others and I think that some gamblers have a strategy that is working for them and that is why they always gamble and make profit. Your strategy can be that you don't go over 2.5 odds or you bet on lower odds and that works perfectly for you since you have analyzed the games and seen that there is a high potential of the teams playing the odds that you have bet on.
