IMHO, any specific strategies that we do could still result in random results.
To be honest, if someone wants to be profitable at the end of the month. There's a need to balance the betting size and the emotion.
You'll get to bet only to the games that you are specifically aware of and have more knowledge with and not to randomly bet any games you wish to because you have a goal that you're focus to see at the end point.

Although being profitable at the end of the month or in the long run is not guaranteed no matter how emotionally disciplined you might be. But there is a high chance of achieving this if you practice risk management and you are actually disciplined. A lot of gamblers win more in the long run this doesn't mean that they don't incur losses but their strategy puts them in profit in the long run.

I think you have confused between casino & sports betting, there is some difference between these two, like casino is luck-based gambling. Hence, it is almost impossible to win by applying any strategies here; casino gambling is very unpredictable. So no one can guarantee a sure win here; it is much riskier than sports betting. Let me explain what I was saying. Betting is an unpredictable activity and the performance or the result cannot be Influenced by any external factor (excluding made up bets). There has to be a difference between strategy and hope.
I will do rollover betting or I will study the last 5 matches of the team, all these don't affect the actual game you bet on, they only give you hope that you will win and of course we know life isn't always sugar and cake. I would like to think strategy is something you do and it will work if you stick with it consistently. You can decide to always analyse your game before you place a bet and you can still lose all 10/10, that's why it is gambling and also why you are advised to use money you can afford to lose. Any money you transfer to your betting account should be assumed gone already, even before you place any bet.

However I will admit you can plan and strategy on how to lose less money and I think you can achieve this by setting a clear definition of how much you want to spend, how many times/bets will you place in the session and how much is your winning/loss amount. If you then follow through, you will find your self being more intentional with the money you use to gamble.

It is actually possible for this to happen but the case is not the gambling strategy that is carried out but the strategy before gambling and after gambling in this case includes how our strategy manages finances in gambling as well as strategies on how to have limits and so that our discipline is gambling and others.

This allows you to feel profitable (regardless of the amount of luck you have) if you want to force yourself to say you are profitable in gambling but in the end this may not be effective for some people.  When we want to make a profit every month just gamble, win and don't gamble anymore it's already a profit but is this effective? Obviously not because we only see profits without caring whether we are comfortable or not with the gambling that is done. So here if it is only the basis of profit that you want to look for then gambling is not the right place and we better stop from now on because profit will not be found here.

Good point, when you have deeper knowledge and understanding about the game that you are placing your bet, it will be easier to pick which team or player have a good edge againts their opponents, though upset can happen but surely it gives decent edge when you did your research together with your knowledge about the game, not a guarantee but gives you confidence with your pick if you good strategy when playing/gambling.

It is absolutely true that it is never possible for anyone to win consistently through gambling, because the chances of winning can be increased by using strategies but winning is not possible for confirm. To win while gambling, we have to rely on luck. If luck is good then money can be gained through gambling. We can guess by using research or strategies, but our guess may not be correct at the end of the day. It is always important to be aware while gambling because the chances of losing money are high.

The fact is, you won't be able to find that edge in the major leagues, no matter how much you know. From interviews with profitable sports bettors I’ve seen, they tend to agree that they find profitable edges in minor leagues. But even that has become more difficult in recent years. As for a predefined strategy—which is what the OP is looking for—there isn’t one; you can try to find a niche in sports and leagues that aren’t the major ones, but even that is difficult.

And the rest will be unknown and unstable. So looking for niche could be the right thing but, the next ones would be random results.

Though you may be very right but not always in most cases. You may decide initiating every idea or pattern that you can ever think of and still fail. It's just to stay in between by staking what you can afford to lose to avoid being unneccesary traumatized when things didn't happen the way you were expecting it. As a matter of fact, no one can boast of a consistent strategy as long as gamble is concern, is just for us to do what is expected and leave the rest in the hands of luck to take it cost.

I wanted to make my own analysis, and so with that, I only bet on them but still it's no guarantee. There is still this element of luck that we need to factor. I don't think that the high chance is there even if you do risk management. It's so random or very rare to see one do that.
But yeah, let's give it to that idea that there's the chance however a sportsbettor do it.

Best strategy to guarantee long time winning result and you won't have to worry about losing is, just look for a way to buy up all the clubs let them be under your management and you decide how they will play and the game result will be decide by you even before it get started, (game fixing) that's the only possible way.

@Tetu100 Sir, I sincerely appreciate your concern! But I can assure you that I’ve been betting on sports for over 20 years and I’ve never been a gambling addict. I always manage my finances responsibly and take my mental health seriously.
