That's true, I'll use my country as an instance, the previous administration was better than this ruling government but back then people criticized the other government, they weren't perfect but gave listening ears to the masses to an extent, things were far better than now and they were trying in making the economy better than currently.

 What you said is the truth, the present government in my country held protests against the previous one they made people feel the other regime where not trying but they stepped into power and became worst than the devil, even ruined all the good plans the other regime had for the country, instead of bringing development and making the economy better, they're looting through loans from IMF and World bank.

For the development of any country, leadership plays an important role but not every problem in a nation is because of bad leaders, and we cannot always blame them. There are countries that have good leadership but still they are struggling with economic crisis insecurities and corruption and their institutions maybe because of the lack of any productive industries. Both leaders and citizens have equal amount of responsibilities to play their role, they should pay the taxes on time, they should support their local businesses and holding those in power accountable. Only changing the leaders is not going to solve all the problems if the corrupt attitude and poor practices remain in society. A country needs responsible citizens, strong policies and strong institutions to develop.

The answer is certainly yes, when there is bad leadership it leads to a lot of things such as poor growth and economic melt down, increase in theft, scam and a whole log of criminal activities. The government has a log to do, to help it's citizens so that then can be useful to themselves, but when the government fail to do that it will increase crime and many other criminal activities in the society. So You don't even need a suit sayer to tell you about it.

If the government and the leadership under the government of a country are corrupt, then there is no end to the suffering of the people of that country. When leaders become corrupt, they take away the rights of the common people of the country and use the benefits of the common people for their own interests. If all the leaders under the government of a country are corrupt, then it can be said that the economy of that country is greatly disrupted. Corrupt leaders destroy the banking sector and when the common people lose confidence in the banking sector, the economic sector is greatly destroyed.

One of the factor responsible for a balanced economy is good leadership, when a country has a circle of good leaders success is always very possible for them to achieve as positive thinking helps alot.
Most countries lacking behind economically is because of the circle of leaders they have governing the affairs of there country because a good leader will be filled with positive ideas that will help in bringing development to there country while that of a country filled with corrupt set of leaders must definitely end up going backward. Some countries in Africa are blessed with mineral resources but don't have a balanced economy all because of corrupt leadership structure that surrounds them.

I really want to understand what we mean by the concept of good, I choose to believe that what we mean by good is a leader that with the intellectual capacity to and the charisma to lead his people through a trying time, a leaders that seeks the wellbeing of his people even the minority. It doesn't necessarily mean being good natured, you can still steal and embezzle funds and still boost economic growth

A bad leader cannot emerge a loyal citizens, instead we are going to see the opposite happening in such country because the people will be rebellious, and this will cause a lot of instability in the country as they keep agitating for their rights to be done, while the corrupt leader do not see all these as a concern, that is why we must know whom we choose to lead us, because everything will later tell about how they will use their power upon the people.

I think a good leader is someone who is able to convince his people and making decision to progress his county's growth. though it not 100% but when his way of thinking and ideas or working style accept by people . we can call him a good leader. as a good leader he should achieve faith of people.
